We had a 1950s shower that had cracked tile and leaky pan. The Oakasa team gave us an estimate for demo and reno and time frame for completion that was fair and reasonable. Edan was our project manager. We supplied the tile, they did the work. The design had to be changed due to a vent pipe going up the wall and there was a little extra repair of the floor due to rot that added an extra cost. The team was responsive and helpful with all of the questions and input on the process. There were pictures and updates on a daily basis, including any issues that were discovered along the way (like the rotten floor). As with any project, there was an unintended leak in the drain pipe of an adjacent bathtub that was knocked loose during demo, but the team came out to repair it without any hassle. I do think these guys did great work and do recommend them. read more

We had an amazing experience with Lior and his team on our home remodel! We added a brand-new master suite and laundry room, and we are so happy with how everything turned out. Lior is amazing to work with. He is extremely responsive, patient, and always takes the time to answer all of our questions throughout the entire process. His team is also wonderful--professional, respectful, trustworthy, and easy to work with. We felt completely comfortable leaving our home in their hands, which gave us so much peace of mind during the renovation. The craftsmanship and attention to detail are also excellent. You can tell they really care about the quality of their work and making sure everything is done right. A major home renovation can be stressful, but Lior and his team made the experience so much easier for us. We absolutely love our new master suite and laundry room and would highly recommend Lior and his team to anyone looking for a reliable, trustworthy, and skilled contractor! read more

Working with Oakasa, and especially Lior, was hands down the best contractor experience I've had. They didn't just execute my vision, they made it better in ways I hadn't even considered. Everything was high quality, from the materials to the craftsmanship, and they stayed within budget. Any additional costs were minimal and clearly communicated upfront. What really stood out was the communication, Lior checked in every Sunday to set expectations for the week, so I was never left guessing. His team was also incredibly respectful, clean, and efficient. Beyond the work itself, the team was respectful, tidy, and highly efficient throughout the project. I would absolutely recommend Oakasa to anyone looking for a reliable, high-quality contractor. I'd work with them again in a heartbeat read more

I had a really GREAT experience working with Lior and his crew at Oakasa! A remodel can be daunting to say the least, but Lior and his project manager Eder were there every step of the way to collaborate, solve problems, calm nerves, and ultimately deliver.  From the design planning and material decisions through the scope of construction it was always pleasant to interact with Lior, Eder and the crew. His team was super communicative along the way and sent photo updates at the end of each workday while I was still at work. They let me know what the scope of work was for the week and each specific day with details on what time they would be arriving at my place to start in the morning. Each respective crew who touched the project was always friendly, tidy, and very efficient. The craftsmanship and work speak for itself, you can see by the photos, all the work was executed at a high level. Throughout the process if I changed my mind or pushed them on any change big or small they never batted an eye and found ways to solve every task set before them.  Before doing a remodel of my own all I heard were horror stories about contractors. I can say unequivocally I know nothing of the sort and that is because of my choice to use Oakasa. I would 100% use them again for any future projects. Meet with Lior, look him in the eye, shake his hand, and you will have the same positive experience and stellar outcome that I did. read more

We hired Oakasa Construction for a room addition, and the experience was great from start to finish. Lior was incredibly communicative every day he checked in, let us know what was completed, and walked us through what was coming next. That level of transparency made a huge difference. The quality of the work was solid, and several of the crew members made sure to clean up after themselves. Lior is very accommodating and genuinely wants his customers to be happy. Even when we made changes during construction, the project still finished on time and on budget, which we really appreciated. A few minor details were missed along the way, but Lior addressed everything and did whatever he could to make it right. In the end, we were very happy with the final result. I would absolutely hire Oakasa Construction again. read more

Great Experience! After meeting with several contractors, we chose Oakasa for our primary bath remodel, and we are so glad we did. Our experience with Lior and his crew was excellent from start to finish. The workers were friendly, conscientious, and clearly took pride in their work. Lior was onsite and/or in touch with us daily, and he responded almost instantly whenever we had questions. He was truly a delight to work with. Our bathroom turned out beautifully, and we couldn't be happier with the results. Oakasa's pricing was competitive and the work was completed on time. During construction there were no change orders or surprises - and a homeowner can't ask for more. We would hire them again in a heartbeat. read more

Working with Lior and the Oakasa team made our remodel dreams come true, and it made all the work of the project as easy as possible. Our project included gutting and total remodel of the kitchen and two bathrooms + new floors + major exterior stucco repair and repainting. The big strength we want to celebrate is communication. I was never left wondering what was happening, what the next step was, or when things would get done. Every question I had was answered quickly and thoroughly, often before I even had to ask. Responses to text messages within minutes! Beyond just being responsive, Lior and the crew truly listened. It felt like they understood not just the project, but our vision, priorities, and concerns. read more

I contacted Lior because he was highly recommended by friends who had him remodel a complete fixer that they bought in Pasadena. He had also remodeled a bathroom for their daughter, and they had nothing but great things to say about his work ethic, and the quality of his work. They run a tight ship and if he could please them, I knew he could make me happy. I asked him to bid on the replacement of of the HVAC ducts in my basement and the installation of recessed LED lights in the ceiling of my office. His bids was reasonable, and lower than what I had already received, so I contracted for his services. I was very happy with the quality of the work, as well as the fact that I was not heating the basement anymore and that my office was well lighted. His workmen showed up on time, worked quietly, cleaned up after themselves and were very polite. Just very nice guys. Lior was a pleasure to work with. He responded quickly to text messages and questions and visited the job site to make sure the work was progressing on schedule. There were no delays and he delivered what he promised. I felt that I received excellent value for the services provided. Most importantly, I loved dealing with a professional who dealt with the details and made the process easy. read more

We couldn't be happier with our experience working with Oakasa! Lior and team recently remodeled our kitchen, removed a load-bearing wall, and installed new flooring throughout our home--and everything turned out beautifully. From day one, their crews were punctual, professional, and just genuinely kind people to have around. They treated our home with care and were always thoughtful about keeping the space as tidy as possible. The coordination between phases was super impressive--there was hardly a day when something wasn't happening. The project finished right on schedule and exactly as planned. They went above and beyond by finding and fixing a few spots on our roof where critters could get in. The quality of the work really shows, and we absolutely love the finished result. Lior and the Oakasa crew handled two simultaneous projects or us, the removal of our carpeted floors and installation of luxury vinyl planks and the full remodel of our master bathroom. In both projects, Lior and his foreman Allan were responsive and a constant presence throughout the work. We dealt with prior contractors where the main point person would disappear after we signed the contract, so it was refreshing to see Lior regularly and be able to ask him questions and provide suggestions. We also had a number of extra projects that came up, which his crew handled efficiently and effectively. For the most part, the work was very good, and tile work was exceptional -- especially the creation of the seamless shower and detail work on creating the sloped shower pan. There were some minor bits that required touch-ups and additional work, but Lior and his team were happy to address our concerns. We want to do some additional projects later this year and plan on working with Lior and his team again. read more

This is the third project we've completed with Lior Lazarovich of Oakasa Construction, and once again, we couldn't be happier with the results. Lior is incredibly organized and truly knows the ins and outs of the Burbank building process, which made the entire experience smooth and stress-free. For this latest project, Oakasa converted an outdated unpermitted garage conversion on our rental property into a fully permitted ADU--and the transformation is amazing. The new ADU is a spacious one-bedroom with a modern split AC system, a beautiful bathroom featuring a step-in shower, a walk-in closet, and a full kitchen with the option for washer/dryer hook-up. Lior and his team handled everything--from engineering and plan design to managing city inspections--with great attention to detail. His engineer drew up solid plans, and they worked seamlessly through each inspection stage. It's clear they care about doing things the right way, and it shows in the quality of their work. Highly recommend Oakasa if you're looking for reliable, knowledgeable, and detail-oriented professionals who really know what they're doing--especially when it comes to projects in Burbank. read more

We've just finished a complete interior remodel of our house with Lior and the team at Oakasa Construction and we cannot say enough amazing things about them. We were fairly nervous about undertaking such a large project as first-time renovators, but we could not have asked for a more consummate professional in Lior across every major aspect you would want from a general contractor. He is fantastic at project management, a great communicator, incredibly trustworthy and honest, and really cares about the quality of the projects that he works on. He works from the heart and was passionate about bringing our house dream to reality. On the project management side, he was there with us every step of the way through planning, design, and visiting many stores to pick out fixtures, appliances, tiles, etc. Communication with Lior is top notch - he was always there to answer the billions of big and small questions we had over text, email, or in person in a very reasonable time frame. We were given a timeline of approximately 4 months to complete the project, and we figured that it would take at least 5 or 6, but the Oakasa team delivered a week before the end of the 4th month. His on the ground team was top notch and super professional and we loved getting to work with them. And at the end of it all - our house is so beautiful and we are very pleased with the outcome. I would highly recommend this group to anyone looking for a high quality, professional job - while it was a lot of work, we also had a lot of fun with the process as well thanks to Lior. read more

Oakasa - Custom cabinets with electric fireplace - love - General Contractors Near Me - West Hills, California

Let me take just a moment to tell you how much my family and I would recommend Lior Lazarovich's contracting company, Oakasa, Inc. Oakasa just completed a whole-home remodel of my built-in-1947 childhood home, which we will be moving into after my elderly father had to move into a continuing care facility. The home had one "remodel" in the early 1980s, in which some square footage was added, without significant upgrades or improvements to the remainder of the home. From the initial consultation through to the present day, Lior and his team at Oakasa have provided outstanding service, and have made a usually stressful and fraught experience into one that was truly enjoyable. The scope of the project included re-plumbing and re-wiring the entire home, installing recessed lighting in all the rooms, adding a bathroom within the existing floorplan, completely redesigning the kitchen and bathrooms, painting, and repairing and refinishing the beautiful oak flooring throughout the house. Along the way we also approved the replacement of the existing roof and the installation of a security gate across the driveway. Communication: A+ We currently live 400 miles away from the project's location in Southern CA. For this reason, it was of utmost importance that our chosen contractor communicate clearly and often about the project. From the initial in-person consultation, and every step along the way, Lior was available, responsive, and proactively communicating with me and my family. When construction was underway, in a group text thread, Lior gave a daily summary along with pictures and videos to show what was done that day. In a separate email to me, he communicated questions about ordering, payments, design preferences, and the like. We would frequently FaceTime during the day if he had questions that warranted immediate attention. Even on evenings and weekends, Lior would make himself available if that was the only time that I could devote to managing the project. Timeline and Budget: A+ The initial contract was detailed in its scope and sequence, and outlined the payment schedule. Lior designed a project that balanced our dream-home hopes with the realities of our budget. There ended up being two change orders to the original scope of work - both arose from issues that were discovered as our elderly home was stripped down to the studs. Both times, Lior explained what was found (corroded water pipe leading from the street up to the house, and a roof with rotted wood and many, many leaks), advised as to the recommended timeline for making those improvements, and did not pressure us into adding these two projects into the scope. Ultimately, we decided to move forward, and Oakasa installed a beautiful new roof and gutter/downspout system (repairing any wood rot along the way) and ensured that our new plumbing could work as intended thanks to the replacement of the main water line. These two additional projects did add to the overall cost of the project, but there was never any pressure put on us to use Oakasa for the work - it just made sense to do so. And the project was still finished TWO WEEKS EARLY!! Quality of Work: A+ I had nightmares about my home being invaded by construction workers who couldn't care less about anything but their paycheck, with the quality of the work taking the back seat. This could not be further from the truth. Before signing the contract, I understood that a consistent group of workers would be assigned to the project. Lior introduced me to Pedro, the project foreman, who led the main group of three workers (Robert [Pedro's son], Hector, and Juan) in completing the project. There was no trash. No cigarette butts. No soda bottles hidden in the studs behind the drywall. These men were professional, conscientious, and skilled. They took personal pride in their work. And it shows - just look at the photos! After the initial plumbing and wiring work, Lior brought in other specialty teams - the cabinet guys, the painters, the floor guys, the tile guys, etc. - who provided equally excellent quality work. All city inspections were passed on the first go-round, and the project therefore remained on time. Summary You could choose any number of general contractors. Choosing Oakasa would be a decision you would not regret. read more

We started our renovation on February 2025. We had our Kitchen and 2 bathrooms completed on June 2025. The remodel for my home was a journey. I realized construction isn't a science where things are perfect but yet the end result can be something so amazing. When you decide to endeavor on this journey you want a team of people behind you that will help you with the unexpected challenges. People that will show you the potential of your home. It's important that everyone involved stays open minded from the contractor to his team and the homeowners. It's important to collaborate together. This is what I found so refreshing of about Oakasa Construction Servies. Lior the contractor was always there driving the project forward even when things got tough. He was there when things weren't quite working according to plan. He was there for all the hard conversations listening even when it was difficult. He was also there to motivate us when the project seems like it would never be over. He also celebrated with us when each step was completed. His field coordinator Alan always had the men ready to go. He truly care about the project and his men. As for the team of men who came to show up to work everyday, they give their 100 percent of themselves. Until the project was completed even to the last detail. They worked with pride and their efforts showed. My kitchen and bathrooms came out amazing. My husband and I would like to thank this team of men. Who was with us for 4 months on this amazing journey we had rainy days and sunny days but we got through it together and it's all so beautiful. Looking forward to seeing team Oakasa for our next project. I attached pictures of my beautiful kitchen and bathrooms after it was completed. Oakasa Construction completed a bath remodel for us recently, and we are very pleased with the beautiful results. Additionally, Lior was always willing to change direction if something wasn't going to plan, while keeping the project within budget and schedule. We have been wanting to do a large remodel of our home for quite some time and it was tough to find someone reliable, responsive, could provide reasonable quotes, was available to start the work and was committed to do quality work on time. Lior checked the most boxes of anyone we were evaluating and was extremely personable and had great references and we were happy to find someone to help us update our home and make the space more usable. We did a full remodel for our kitchen, 2 baths, added recessed lighting, put LVP flooring, replaced the electrical panel, removed a non load bearing wall, and replaced our fireplace. The remodel took 3 months and actually went much faster in the beginning than anticipated and was projecting to be done 1 month earlier than promised, but material and cabinets delays ended up dragging the last month out; but that was out of Liors control. Through all of the problems that always come up in construction, Lior was always willing to show up, stand behind the work, give us options on what was possible, pushed the crews he brought in to complete the work, and fix the issues. I would definitely work with Lior again for any future remodel work we do. read more

Lior and his team helped us with our remodeling project and made the process straightforward. From start to finish, Lior provided timely updates to the progress and sent us detailed reports each step of the way. He was always responsive to texts and e-mails, and that in itself was so reassuring to us, as we are extremely busy people who were not able to visit on-site every day to check on things ourselves. From our initial consultation, Lior was punctual and excited about helping us. He provided recommendations on what he thought would fit our vision and helped us whittle down our ideas to what was more practical and had good cost-effectiveness. Moving forward to the design steps, he kept us involved and encouraged us to ask questions with the architect and kitchen designers. I liked that he set up meetings for us to meet these team members in person so we can communicate directly with them. Once work started on site, Lior was our trusty overseer but also made sure we were involved in the decision making, and that we met important members of the team such as the Pedro, the foreman. When changes needed to be made to our original plans, Lior helped provide varying options of different price ranges which allowed us to tailor to our budget. His team was timely in getting work finished and our project finished without delays, which is a feat in itself in remodeling projects these days. We recently worked with Oakasa construction services and Lior the owner for a major home renovation project and we couldn't be happier with the results! The project included tearing down a load bearing wall to open up the main living area / kitchen, renovating our kitchen, remodeling a bathroom, creating a new laundry room and mudroom, re-doing our floors, and replacing several exterior doors and windows. Here's why Lior and his team have earned 5 stars: Wall removal and open concept: take down the wall between the kitchen and living area was a game changer. It was a load bearing wall so Lior and his team had to install a long, large ~30 ft beam across the length of the house. They handled this structural change seamlessly, ensuring safety and style. The new open concept design makes the space feel larger and brighter. Kitchen renovation: They transformed the outdated kitchen into a modern, functional space. The attention to detail in cabinetry, countertops and lighting was impeccable. The layout now flows perfectly for cooking and entertaining. Bathroom remodel: Exceeded expectations, from tilework to fixtures, every element was thoughtfully executed. New laundry and mudroom: turned an underutilized space of the house into a functional laundry room. The new mudroom features cabinets, a bench, and a beadboard wall with several hooks - this was executed with great detail and provides a great functional storage and entryway for our family and pets. Floors. Installed beautiful new hardwood floors. The house was not level in some areas and the team did a good job leveling the subfloors. Professionalism and communication. Throughout the process, Lior and his team were professional, very communicative, and on time. Lior made himself available throughout all times of the day for any question or concerns that came up. As with any sizeable renovation, there were small hiccups that came up but they were all handled promptly and professionally, showing their commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. We have already recommended Lior and his team to several of our friends and will continue to do so. They turned our vision into reality and we couldn't be more thrilled with the results. read more

We are writing to share our experience with Oakasa Construction Services in the recent completion of our kitchen area. Our house was built in the late fifties and had not had a major remodel since. We are a second generation ownership. We first met Lior and his wife Kay at the Pasadena Home Show earlier this year. There was an immediate intuitive sense that they were people who would be the right match for us. Lior clearly expressed his ideas and actively listened, which was very important. After the contract was signed, Lior provided timely oral and written communication and was responsive to our calls, texts, and emails in a way we found exceptional. He and his team were dependable in maintaining a steady work schedule. Components of tasks were completed without comprising quality workmanship. His diligence allowed him to avoid unnecessary delays. Allan, who served as the project manager, and his team took pride in delivering thorough work combining the old with the new with noticeable quality standards that were set for the team. In summary Lior, Allan and the Oakasa team demonstrated a strong work ethic and commitment to us and to our remodel. If you seek a highly dependable team under Lior's leadership that takes ownership of its responsibilities, shows enthusiasm and a cheerful outlook towards work, and takes initiative in doing right by the customer, then Oakasa Construction Services would be a best choice. Oakasa Construction Company is by far one of the best construction companies in Los Angeles County. My family and I interviewed approximately 12 different companies all found via internet in the Los Ángeles area. We were trying to convert our 500 square ft garage into an ADU. Like most Angelinos we had a fixed budget and needed a company that would not over price and take advantage of us. We were extremely lucky to have found Oakasa and his contractor Lior. He oversaw the entire project from beginning to end with professionalism and clarity in communication. I truly appreciate the fact that he kept his word and followed the contract till the end. Now, we have a beautiful two bedroom ADU built within our budget and in record time. We also appreciate the foreman and his workers who were all very respectful and efficient. We have been looking to remodel our old kitchen for a while; however, it seems like looking for a good contractor is much harder than buying a house. After meeting many contractors we almost gave up, again, the experience was turning to be very frustrating and time consuming. We had people showing up late, not listening to our needs or not even showing or requiring a second meeting to provide the estimate. Finally, we had a meeting with Mr. Lior from Oakasa. He listened to our need and expectations. One of our biggest concerns was time, small project and budget, of course. It was clear after our meeting that he would be a good match. He assured us that he takes all his projects seriously no matter how big or small. Although he wasn't the cheapest, we had confidence and trust right away. We agreed to move forward with him and company. Even though we had delayed the start date, due to personal reasons, we never felt pressured and we were ready, he was ready to start. Once they started working, they worked almost every day, unless they were waiting for city inspectors. We really appreciate the process updates. He offered suggestions some we agreed to some we didn't and he was okay with it. We added a few more things and he gladly accommodated our requests. All the workers were very respectful and cleaned the work area each day. We are almost done and excited to finally enjoy a new kitchen. Any type of construction can be challenging but Mr Lior made us feel at ease and explained everything in ways we understood. We would definitely work with him again and would recommend him and his company. Looking forward for the actual day he signs off the project. read more

From Broken and Archaic Kitchen to Functional and Contemporary My kitchen remodel journey started approximately three years ago. During this time I met with approximately, five different contractors, but was not comfortable moving forward with any of them. My goal was to remodel the late 1950's brown kitchen. To use the range, I would have to turn on the gas and light the pilot each time. The oven was very small, and the door was held closed with a screw. The brown range, oven, and kitchen tile was very dated, and not at all attractive. To complete the picture, the kitchen also had formica countertops and linoleum flooring. In April 2023, my friends and I went to the Pasadena Home Show where we met and made appointments with two contractors - ProStar and Oakasa. After meeting with ProStar and Oakasa, I made the decision to contract with Oakasa. The main reason for contracting with Oakasa was Oakasa's owner, Lior. Lior is very friendly and personable, and assured me the process would be as pain free as possible. Also, the price quoted included items that were outside of other price quotes - cabinets, counters, and two sliding glass doors and four windows. Construction started in early August 2023, with an expected completion time of 8 weeks. The demo of my very dated, barely functioning kitchen happened in the blink of an eye. Rough plumbing and electrical was completed in week 1, and the project passed its first inspection at the start of week 2. New windows and sliding glass doors were installed; recessed lighting installed; drywall replaced, repaired, and patched; paint; cabinets installed; flooring installed; tile installed; appliances installed; and lastly, final inspection. Throughout the process, Lior was very responsive and communicative via text messages and pictures. Lior responded to all of my text messages regarding things that weren't just right and made them right. Juan (the electrician) and Darvin (the painters) were both very nice and did excellent work. I appreciate when someone pays attention to the "little" details like making sure the screws on electrical faceplates all face the same direction and using a level to ensure the washer and dryer are level. Needless to say, Lior made the process as pain free as possible and my new kitchen is beautiful! I will have to post pictures separately from my phone... read more

I'll start off by saying we had a smooth and easy experience with Oakasa Inc. on our first ever remodel. More specifically, Lior and his various team members, from demolition to plumbing, electrical, tile, and finishing touches, were respectful, professional, fast and efficient, and no trouble to have in the house at all. Lior and the craftsmen who worked with him really listened to what we were going for at the various stages and were all around good at communication. They did their best to give us what we wanted. Lior checked in with us every step of the way, and was fun in the process. I got five estimates, and Oakasa's was right in the middle. The project took one month, and I don't see how it could have gone any quicker. There were no delays, and our bathroom turned out just as beautiful as we hoped. We will definitely call Lior again when the next project comes up. read more
