Huge shoutout to Robert and Caesar at Ventura Cycling Center!…read more I brought in my classic 1971 Schwinn that probably hadn't been ridden in decades. Robert got a new tire installed while Caesar tag-teamed on getting the right brake pads installed to get her roadworthy again. Now I'm cruising under the summer sky on a bike that's hitting the streets for the first time in over 50 years! The entire experience was fast, friendly, accommodating, and transparent from start to finish. It's rare to find a team that genuinely cares about helping you bring a piece of history back to life. Couldn't ask for more. Highly recommend!

From the moment we arrived, Sheppard was kind, funny, helpful, and just the most genuine person you could ever hope to meet. I was visiting Ventura with my two teenage daughters, and he made all three of us feel instantly welcome and comfortable. He took the time to explain the bikes, gave us awesome local tips, and genuinely made us feel like we were hanging out with a friend who just happens to run the coolest eBike spot in town. My daughters couldn't stop smiling the entire time. The bikes were amazing--smooth, easy to ride, and perfect for exploring downtown and the harbor. But what truly made it special was Sheppard's energy. He turned a simple bike rental into one of the highlights of our entire trip. We will absolutely be back every time we're in Ventura, and I'm telling everyone I know: if you're renting bikes in Ventura, go see Sheppard at eBike Adventure. He's a gem of a human and made our day unforgettable. HIGHLY recommend!

Definitely time for a review for the Eco Store now that we've completed our 3rd project with them!…read more I remember when The Eco Store opened up years ago in Oak View. It was such a pleasure to see so many potential home improvement projects, all in one place, and that all inspired a better way of living at our house. Our first project with the Eco Store was a gray water system to move abundant shower water out to our plants and gardens. That felt so good that we then did a second project with the Eco Store. They created a simple and affordable rain water catchment system that now gives us enough water to completely water all of our plants, gardens, and even our backyard grass areas! Now we've just completed a salt-free whole house home water filtration system that gives us high-quality drinking water throughout our whole house, and allows us to NOT have to dump salt into a tank every month. Working with Erica at the store is always a pleasure. She is super knowledgeable and very helpful. She makes a large variety of household soaps and sells them at the Eco Store. That makes it so we are re-using all of our plastic soap bottles! We've done a lot of home improvements at our house with various contractors. LeVon (owner) cares about your house, provides a professional installation, and seems to know everything about conserving energy and water at your house! Working with him is like having a good friend over your house. But when he leaves, you feel 100% better about your house, and how you are working with nature to support the house and it's water needs. I know they work with electrical needs at your house too... maybe project #4 in the future for us!?!? It is always a pleasure working with The Eco Store! We highly recommend you visit their store, talk with them, and get inspired!

The technician did not appear knowledgeable about the repair and was unable to resolve the issue to my satisfaction. Communication was also disappointing. I found the interaction rude and unprofessional, which only added to the frustration. My biggest recommendation is to pay with a credit card only. Avoid payment methods such as Zelle or other irreversible transfers so you have some level of protection and the ability to dispute the charge if the work is not completed properly. Based on my experience, I would not use this service again and cannot recommend it to others.
