Tom, the property manager, is fantastic: organized, communicative, and truly cares about the resident experience. His professionalism makes our job seamless. Highly recommend this community!

Total slumlords. Worst renting experience in my life. Avoid this dump like the plague. Any…read morepositive reviews left for this place are people with zero living standards. The front office people are sales people....remember that. They have no personal interest in you, it's their job to take full advantage of you. Insanely noisy. You can hear your neighbors conversations and every step they take which sounds like herds of buffalo mind you. Dirty. If they sell you an updated unit you'll probably be paying for polished dirt. Moldy. The bathtub areas are not properly vented and constantly grow mold. Smoke alarms? Not any.... Also your gas is included in your rent and the usage will be whatever they want it be. It will be 20 dollars one month and 80 the next with literally the same lifestyle and weather. Trash. There will be trash everywhere on the property. Floors are falling through below the foundation in common areas. Outlets in common areas are loose from the wall. They hire all of the cheapest labor possible for maintenance and groundskeeping. Speaking of grounds, a large portion of the parking lot floods with water frequently. This water freezes in the winter turning the lot into ice (see photos). We told them about our daughter falling several times and getting bruised, it was brushed off. It NEVER gets salted/fixed and with the massive hills, many tenants can't get to work on cold mornings, especially when snow is involved. An elderly woman in our building fell and others refused to go grocery shopping. The "dog park" is an absolute joke. It's a fenced in square the size of your living room that is just a mud patch with obstacles that were never properly foundationed so they are laying at a 30° angle from the ground. Playground is not maintained at all. They have just painted over it 10 times (just like your apartment will be). Oh and if you live there any considerable time like we did for 24 months. You won't get your deposit back AND you'll be charged 600 for carpet replacement. So 1k for carpet replacement sent to me? Sound right to you? We left the place immaculate compared to the move in condition, fully expecting a deposit return. For the pricepoint, take my advice and rent ANYWHERE else. Photos are of parking lot ice, constant state of the property with trash, the AC vent from my apartment and the laundry room. Try to ignore the giant pile of trash and take in the moldy sink, open moldy pipe closet and disgusting floor. This is the state of all common areas. More things to note: - Beams supporting bridges going into buildings are not proper or safe. Screws sticking out everywhere to catch your hands/feet on the bridges themselves. - Non-GFI outlets in laundry areas - Loose plugs in hallways - No sealant around pipe penetrations leaving/entering building (critters and bugs free to pass) - Building 300 has a hole in the laundry floor big/deep enough to break an ankle. *In response to Kim or Tom or whoever replied* We were charged for 100% carpet replacement. We witnessed you replacing the carpet in every single apartment in our building as people moved out. You did not charge a percentage as you are falsely claiming. THESE PEOPLE ARE CROOKS!!! The proof of their lies is in the pictures, folks. Disgusting.

The luxury apartments are beautiful ... but lack the luxury of the BASIC essentials of…read moreliving...quietness and heat. HEAT: Or lack there of... Expect EXPENSIVE electric bills and sleepless nights. The windows literally have cold air GUSTING in the winter months due to poor sealing. It is a historic building so windows are old and inefficient. Also they were never sealed properly during the building of the apartments. The layout for heating the spaces are poor. Heat vents at ceiling level so they do not actually heat anything except the ceiling. Electric bills are $200-300 a month at LEAST. And after paying all of that, you still will not be able to live in the apartment unless you are under a blanket in winter. We had to eat dinner in bed to survive. NOISE: those leaking windows also allow NOISE in, you can expect to hear the conversations of people walking by on the sidewalk , and consistent sirens at all hours of the night. You WILL NOT sleep. Construction and sidewalk cleanings are done after midnight and since the windows are paper think you WILL hear everything. If you don't like sleeping live here. Except to buy blackout curtains, ear plugs, or just stab yourself in the ears till you cannot hear. KICKER: The management is... suprise suprise... the WORST. Yes, Jessica I'm talking to you. You should NOT have this job. You do not understand how to run a business. What did you say when we, MODEL tenants, wrote a kind email the first time mentioning the issues with the window and requesting maintenance take a look... oh yeah.. you just suggested we MOVE. Seems like a normal response. Well we did, and we will NEVER advise anyone to live here.

On August 3rd 2016, I was taken to court to evict for nonpayment of rent, two months behind. This…read moremess all started when the landlord wouldn't finish the disaster he created in my yard - I've been here for three years, I live here so it's my home, my yard, no renters attitude, but that has changed now, never renting again. Anyway I made the mistake of arguing with him to clean it up, well he evicted me through a text message, yeah right.. Next thing I know, I'm getting served for non payment of two months rent. So off to the bank I go and had them print out the last 7 months of CASHED RENT CHECKS, all signed by the landlord. Yes I'm up to date on rent so why is this idiot taking me to court? Mad because I dared to talk back to him. I'm one of the few tenants that are not on section 8 and have a full lease for 11 months still, I've lived in this home for the past 3 years and never missed my rent payment - EVER. This problem started when the landlord took just about every tree down on the property to sell, but guess what, the logs are not worth much, so of course they're still sitting in a pile after 3 months. The locast stumps are sprouting new saplings out of every stump, every root, total mess, which now has made three times the work for me to maintain this property from the previous year, I tried explaining that to the jerk and was yelled at, so I yelled back, thus the evictions proceedings. Oh and the first tree company he got in, he didn't pay them, so they quit. Second tree company later, the yard still looks like a bomb was dropped. The judge threw out the 2 months non payment of rent charges and gave me a choice of whether I wanted to stay or leave, but my boyfriend who also lived there for three years wasn't on the new lease, so he had to leave and I was to throw him out, which I wouldn't do, so now I'm also evicted. The whole thing was so unfair, we didn't do what the landlord claimed we did-not pay rent and damage siding, first tree company damaged siding on house, but we have to pay for their mistake and get evicted too. Landlord did get me for three years late fees, you see, I took his word, which IMO isn't worth squat, he told me rent was due between the 1st and the 10th and anything after that would be late. His lease actually states anything after the 1st is late with a $10 a day late fee! Moral is; don't take the landlords word for it, read your lease, all landlords are not honest.
