The front office people are sales people....remember that. They have no personal interest in you, it's their job to take full advantage of you. Insanely noisy. You can hear your neighbors conversations and every step they take which sounds like herds of buffalo mind you. Dirty. If they sell you an updated unit you'll probably be paying for polished dirt. Moldy. The bathtub areas are not properly vented and constantly grow mold. Smoke alarms? Not any.... Also your gas is included in your rent and the usage will be whatever they want it be. It will be 20 dollars one month and 80 the next with literally the same lifestyle and weather. Trash. There will be trash everywhere on the property. Floors are falling through below the foundation in common areas. Outlets in common areas are loose from the wall. They hire all of the cheapest labor possible for maintenance and groundskeeping. Speaking of grounds, a large portion of the parking lot floods with water frequently. This water freezes in the winter turning the lot into ice (see photos). We told them about our daughter falling several times and getting bruised, it was brushed off. It NEVER gets salted/fixed and with the massive hills, many tenants can't get to work on cold mornings, especially when snow is involved. An elderly woman in our building fell and others refused to go grocery shopping. The "dog park" is an absolute joke. It's a fenced in square the size of your living room that is just a mud patch with obstacles that were never properly foundationed so they are laying at a 30° angle from the ground. Playground is not maintained at all. They have just painted over it 10 times (just like your apartment will be). Oh and if you live there any considerable time like we did for 24 months. You won't get your deposit back AND you'll be charged 600 for carpet replacement. So 1k for carpet replacement sent to me? Sound right to you? We left the place immaculate compared to the move in condition, fully expecting a deposit return. For the pricepoint, take my advice and rent ANYWHERE else. Photos are of parking lot ice, constant state of the property with trash, the AC vent from my apartment and the laundry room. Try to ignore the giant pile of trash and take in the moldy sink, open moldy pipe closet and disgusting floor. This is the state of all common areas. More things to note: - Beams supporting bridges going into buildings are not proper or safe. Screws sticking out everywhere to catch your hands/feet on the bridges themselves. - Non-GFI outlets in laundry areas - Loose plugs in hallways - No sealant around pipe penetrations leaving/entering building (critters and bugs free to pass) - Building 300 has a hole in the laundry floor big/deep enough to break an ankle. *In response to Kim or Tom or whoever replied* We were charged for 100% carpet replacement. We witnessed you replacing the carpet in every single apartment in our building as people moved out. You did not charge a percentage as you are falsely claiming. THESE PEOPLE ARE CROOKS!!! The biggest problem was how "unavailable" they were to my tenants and to those that inquired about one particular unit that was vacant. I consistently heard "I can't get a hold of them" and if you read their other reviews this seems to be a reoccurring theme. I experienced the same thing. They almost never answered their phones even during regular business hours and at times returning my phone call took them days. Nice enough ladies but there seems to be some disorganization in the office and their communication leaves a lot to be desired. The final straw was when a persistently late tenant was a month late with her rent (again) and I asked not if but when the Notice To Quit was posted so as to get the ball rolling with regard to taking her to court. When they told me that it was never posted because the tenant made a promise to pay that week, I fired them. What's the point of paying a property management company if they're not going to MANAGE my properties?

Phone vibrating, deep breathing, smallest footsteps, water running...you hear EVERYTHING your downstairs/upstairs neighbor says. I knew my dumbass neighbor downstairs better than my own family back home. Management is good with responding to things and are generally friendly. Area itself is quiet, but the apartments aren't. My appliances were fairly new. Close access to the interstate, lake scranton and downtown. Those are the only pros.

Management is quick to address any issues, John and Angel are knowledgeable and super friendly, and the complex is peaceful and pet friendly. It's also a lovely area to enjoy all the seasons in (to any Southern Cali peeps reading this, Fall really does exist and it's so beautiful). The one issue we had with our unit that couldn't be resolved was every room had squeaky floors and we were concerned about the amount of noise this caused for our neighbors below. But FWIW, the neighbors below never came to us about any noise. Hopefully this is something that can be resolved before it's rented out again.

Probably nothing.oh, and the vent photos which the property manager of years and years who walked out and quit last month said he only had to have cleaners come out and clear them one other time during his tenure here- yeah ONE other unit had their air ducts cleaned out other than us in YEARS - are now growing grime again and it hasn't been more than a little over a month since stably steamer came and cleared then and cleaned them. The burned plastic? That was our dishwasher starting to burn in the middle of the night because the valve that sends water to it- was broken. I smelled it and doused it with water. If it had gone further, my children's bedrooms are down the hall on the other side. I'd have had to put them through the window and risk broken bones because there'd be no other way out. The mold in the tub took my husband 2 hours to remove before he re-caulked the bathtub himself. There are 2 maintenance men for the entire complex. There are about 8 apartments to every building and I know there's at least 20 buildings- you can do that math. The wonderful elderly woman that lived below us wound up moving because she couldn't afford a place that had black mold covering her bedroom walls. We helped her move, we saw it ourselves although you can find it all around our unit too. Our water smells like fish, so we try to wash our clothes at the laundromat instead of using the washer and dryer in the bathroom because our clothes smell so bad even if I add 5 bounty sheets to the dryer. The tiles floors were cracked and raised (one stuck to my sneaker and I lifted it with my foot- and we told them this right in the beginning in September. ) They just fixed the problem (partially) in March. Please I'm begging you- save yourself from poor health because your health and your life is more important than what this place can do to you. I pray anyone thinking of moving here sees this. If I can help ONE family even ONE- then this will be worth the time it took to write it. Nothing is worth your LUNGS and your Ability to BREATHE! Oh and please read the review below about the hot water- even after replacing the hot water heater you get about 5 minutes of hot water, then must wait until two small coils reheat the small reserve that gives you the 5 minutes. Every single thing said in every bad review is not embellishment at ALL!! Heed their warnings if you don't heed mine.
