We bid to several builders , and John was the most responsive and professional by far . From start to finish he was very easy to work with, responsive, and has a foreman named Abe who is awesome . He was very transparent on things I wanted that he thought either wouldn't look great (he was right !) or would compromise other parts of the house . He even had the crew build a small house for our kids under the basement stairs which they are obsessed with . Timeline was almost spot on to what he had originally told us . I always hear of nightmares with building/builders , but truly from start to finish I had a great experience with John and would do it again.

Adam S. is absolutely right - BC Construction deserves the highest praise for their remodeling…read morework. My husband and I moved into a 2-bedroom condo in desperate need of an overhaul, and our designer recommended Mike for our major renovation projects. Mike came in, listened to all our needs and took copious notes. We had a complete estimate for everything within a few days of our meeting, including cost and time frames for: - hardwood floor install in 2 rooms; - hardwood floor repair for the rest of the apartment; - tile install for the foyer; - fireplace tile surround plus fireplace repainted; - entire condo repainting, including ceilings and exposed ductwork, and; - complete kitchen remodel. The work was done on time and within budget, even with the inevitable surprises that always come up during reno projects. The crew was punctual, efficient, always respectful and very neat. Zack came in to manage our tile projects, and both he & Mike were obsessive about details; our foyer has a concrete column that required a curved cut on our tile floor - and it is literally perfect thanks to their attention. We're planning our bathroom remodel in the next year, and I've already got Mike on speed-dial.

We recently remodeled our master bathroom and at the recommendation of the interior design firm we…read moreused, went with BC Construction as our General Contractors. We did meet with a couple other contractors initially just to be thorough, but were very impressed with Mike and Zack at BC at our first meeting, and continued to be throughout the entire project. We live in an old victorian and have practically remodeled the entire interior. BC has by far been the best contractors we've used in the 9 years we've been here: - The final budget was very close to their quote; - When there were discrepancies, they explained why and always asked permission beforehand to do the work; - They updated us weekly on ongoing costs (Mike is a former financial analyst so I received a nicely formatted Excel spreadsheet each week :) - Their sub-contractors were all very good (they mentioned they've "curated" their subs until they've found the best ones and I believe it - from painters to electrical, they were excellent) - They were obsessive about a clean work site, especially at the end of the day when they left - Very trustworthy; we left them alone in our house extensively, gave them a key, and never had an issue And most importantly, the quality of their work is fantastic. With other contractors, it has always felt like 80% or 90% of the work was good, but there were these little issues at the end of the job that gnawed at you later. Not with these guys. They either do the work beautifully the first time, or if there is an issue, they correct it. They're a little OCD themselves, so you don't have to be all over them constantly. And when they don't feel like they have clear direction, instead of making assumptions and moving ahead, they always asked what to do, which was appreciated. Mike and Zack and their entire crew were also just good guys and a pleasure to be around. Overall I obviously can't say enough about BC. They're not for your handyman type projects, but if you have major renovations like bathrooms, basements, kitchens, custom decks, etc. I would strongly consider them.

We're genuinely surprised to see any mixed reviews for Revive. We can't recommend them enough! It's…read morerare to find a contractor you trust completely, along with all their subcontracting teams, but Ohad and his crew have earned that trust across multiple projects in our home. Ohad is an honest thought partner when it comes to design and overall project management. He'll tell you straight where it's worth spending and where you can save. And his team is hardworking, honest, and reliably on schedule (and mostly on budget!). We have also had the opposite experience of some of the warranty comments below. The team has ALWAYS come back promptly to finish final details/punch list items until we're happy with the project. And, they stand by the quality of their work. For example, after refinishing our floors, we noticed some marks that weren't quite right. Ohad agreed immediately that it wasn't up to his standard of work and sent a team to fix it, no pushback at all. The team tried a "quick" fix at first which was better, but not perfect. Without us even asking to fix it again, Ohad said it still wasn't to his standard and the solution was to rework the entire area. Due to some personal scheduling conflicts that made it hard to have workers in the house, we asked to delay for a few months past project completion and he was completely understanding... told us it would happen on our timeline and just asked for some notice before we'll be ready so he can schedule the team. That kind of accountability, owning a mistake and working around our needs to fix it, is exactly why we trust him so much. Plus the incredibly high standard of work on everything that went perfectly smoothly! We won't risk anyone else working on our home at this point.

Any questions I had were answered quickly, and they kept me informed throughout the process. The project stayed on schedule, the work was completed as promised, and the quality exceeded my expectations. My bathroom was finished about a month ago, so I've had time to live with it and evaluate the work, and I couldn't be happier with the result. I honestly don't understand some of the criticism I've seen because it simply doesn't reflect my experience. The entire process was smooth, stress-free, and the finished bathroom looks amazing. The photos speak for themselves. I would not hesitate to recommend Ohad, Lloyd, and their team to anyone considering a renovation project.
