OK, I checked it out a few weeks ago, but just sort of got around to doing a review now. Normally, I only do Indian food at restaurants that offer lunch buffets, I dunno, I guess that's how I started eating Indian food and I have my fave dishes. Oak Creek Ranch offers no buffet, but since I live here in Red Bluff, I gotta give it a try. Oak Creek Ranch is located out of the main part of town in the south. You can find Montgomery Road off of South Main Street. Turn right just before the freeway and it's like a frontage road to the freeway. Keep going, and it's on the right. If you get to the end of the road, you passed it, go back. I ordered to go since I was by myself and didn't wanna eat alone in a restaurant I never been to before. I ordered my fave Tandoori chicken that came with two drumstick and two thigh pieces. Also, tried the Chicken Tikka Masala and got some basmati rice to go with that. I spent way more than I would at a buffet, but the nearest Indian buffet is all the way in Sacramento over 2 hours away! The wait for the food wasn't too long and it smelled good in the car. I forgot to get some naan, but oh well, next time! I get home just maybe 10 minutes away and open up the food. I put the rice and Tikka Masala out on a plate. OK, I gotta say, the Tandoori chicken was really good, very tandoori tasting and tender, no struggling to pull the meat off with my teeth. The tikka masala was good, not too spicy and went well with the rice. I had leftovers for later. No leftovers allowed at buffets, so there's that. I'm glad I found a place for Indian food right here in Red Bluff, a town not known for restaurant diversity away from chain restaurants. I wonder if many people actually play golf here in the summer?

I had bought it at their little boutique store on the highway New Years Eve 2022. We had it with a bison ribeye marinated through the day just last week. I threw in some scallops and a salad. I'm lucky we only had one bottle. I was thinking 94+ but I'm not a sommelier. We drink a lot of beautiful wines throughout the state of California and this was up at the top. Wow I am impressed. If you have a chance and love red wine, stop and get a bottle, or a case, you will not be disappointed. My 100th review! woot woot!!!…read more This review is for the Bursini Vineyard Wine Festival. The festival is held annually at their vineyard and this was their 17th, held last night. We arrived before 5 pm and were surprised how many people were already there in 100 degree plus weather. Guests were requested to bring a bottle of wine, food or dessert of some sort and a folding chair if possible. I would guess there were hundreds of people there sweating wine as fast as they were drinking it! As soon as it cooled down into the nineties, a long line was formed and food was served buffet style. After the sun went down a live band started playing and there was dancing. All in all it was a nice relaxed evening shared by adults having a good time, enjoying one anothers company and sampling MANY different wines. Just a note...I think Jack's in Redding may start serving their wine...we shall see.

The entire burger just tasted like meat..no seasoning and there was maybe a drop of their aioli on the burger so all in all it just wasn't the best. I would've had a better experience at In N Out. We also ordered the Wagyu meatballs and never received them. We thought it was taking a minute to cook but all we got instead was the check..he didn't even ask us if we wanted dessert. We had wanted to check out their dessert menu and possibly get their strawberry shortcake but I guess that wasn't in the cards for us. We also ordered a cocktail and mocktail. My wife's mocktail (Kava Mule) was great! My cocktail (Horchata Mai Tai) was genuinely the strongest drink I've ever had. The flavor was nice if you could get past the amount of Bacardi they poured in there. Every drink I took felt like I was taking a shot. So with all that being said, unfortunately we won't be returning to Rancher's Daughter.
