Don't even look anywhere else in the Napa area for a caterer - just go to Oak Avenue. Angela and her team were an absolute pleasure to work with and pulled together a dinner for 165 people that ran absolutely flawlessly - in the middle of a field during a rolling PG&E blackout! Sue the catering captain is on top of everything and runs the event like an absolute pro - as an event planner it makes life so much easier to have someone like her in charge. Will definitely be back to Oak Avenue for all of our future events.

BEST HOSPITALITY I HAVE SEEN IN A CATERING COMPANY!! 5 Stars are not given by a true Yelper...Its earned! And I have to admit that all the workers here had truly earned this review! I first found out about Oak Avenue Catering when they catered an event at the Sprint Mountain Winery during the weekend of 9/19/2015 and I was totally impressed. The menu was limited but it was absolutely delicious. The menu for the day was: Two different types of pizzas were made in the pizza oven: ~Margherita pizza: with tomato sauce, Basil, Garlic and Mozzarella ~Mission Fig, Gorgonzola, Mozzarella, Pine nuts and caramelized Onions There was a delicious mixed green salad that was served as well which had summer vegetables, Goat Cheese and champagne Vinaigrette. The cooks made the pizza from scratch everything came out fresh and HOT! This is a fantastic catering company for many different events that are being held as they served tons of different varieties on their menu from appetizers, buffet, brunch, family style food, dinners and many more! Big shout out to the workers that came out that day to make it a special day: Tommy, Kyle, Amelia, Andre and the server Chidto. I will definitely use them in the future!

I really don't have anything to say about this company except that they are so good at what they do, from the chefs to the wait staff/servers. They do everything so carefully & they look like they're having fun while doing it! Their food is so good & when they do the decor it is perfect! They're supervisors are always so helpful & easy to talk to. I know how frustrating it can be for them to stay calm under pressure but they're great. Their events are amazing. & they're amazing.

This company does not work well under high volume events... the staff along with management Ms. Sue was extremely rude and unprofessional.

Matt and Patrick were extremely friendly and the food was to die for! We celebrated our microwedding in Mill Valley and I have always selected new restaurants based on yelps top reviewed restaurants. I figured this would be the best way to go to select a catering option for an area we're not local to or able to try before in person. The reviews did not steer us wrong. We would love to book again after experiencing the food and stellar service. Appetizers: We ordered the heirloom tomato bruschetta which was one of my favorites! The tomatoes were fresh and every bite was memorable! The goat cheese croquettes were to die for and the braised pork shoulder had everyone coming back for more! Dinner: I'm not a huge kale person but we had an amazing kale Caesar salad that had me hoping I could recreate it at home. I honestly don't think there was any left over! It was accompanied by the grilled antipasto platter which complemented the lasagna dinner we had perfectly! The vegetables were cooked and seasoned to perfection! We had the classic bolognese lasagna and red wine braised boneless beef short ribs for our dinner option which were gone in the blink of an eye. Dessert: To top it off, we finished with the mini amaretto panna cotta and blackberry coulis. They were as delicious as they were aesthetically appealing!

My husband and I were set on having pupusas for our wedding, and it was a surprisingly difficult thing to accomplish. From all of our efforts and research, pupuserias don't really do wedding catering, and wedding caterers don't really do pupusas, but Chef Matt pulled it off for us on a whole nother level of excellence! When we originally reached out to him, he just said that they could do it, and we were ecstatic. At our first tasting, he had already gone to his local pupusa spot to analyze the timing, and watch the whole process. He hadn't done pupusas before, but had the drive, determination, and confidence to pull it off for us. When our wedding day came, we along with every one of our guests were absolutely blown away by the quality of every bit of food and drinks that they provided us all with. He was able to find the wife of a Salvadoran friend, and her mother, to help him make them all fresh on our wedding day, on a plancha that they were able to bring. The vibe was incredible, the food was impeccable, and even the Salvadorans attending were incredibly impressed. From the yucca fries to the plantain chips, from the guacamole to the curtido, from the coffee to the agua frescas, from the salsas to the amazing service, from the compostable serving ware to the incredible bartender. People still can't stop raving. The pupusas, the dips, the black chili salsa, the coffee, just everything. Kharma worked with us relentlessly over every tiny detail to get all of it right, and everything came together SO beautifully, and went SO smoothly without even the smallest hitch. Chef Matt and the Epicurean Escape Catering team literally made our dreams come true. We cannot recommend them enough!!!

We wanted to do something big and as we were looking at options, Menegnon Catering was referred to us by a neighbor who had attended a party they catered. We live in the East Bay and for a nominal travel fee, they came to us. They took care of everything from laying out the butcher paper on the tables, handing out bibs (which were a big hit!) to cooking and serving to clean-up and even brought It's-It ice cream sandwiches for dessert. The boil itself consisted of lobsters, shrimps, artichokes, corn, sausage and potatoes and they also provide warm baguettes, drawn butter, mayo and other condiments like hot sauce and the all the tools including claw crackers. The whole thing was AMAZING! Our guests couldn't get over how incredible it was and of the course the food was so fresh and delicious. As someone who is usually stuck with alllll the set-up and clean-up, the fact that they handled it all was the extra cherry on top a perfect meal! We made so many memories that night (as you can tell from the photos!) I would absolutely use them again for a professional work event to another party hosted at our home.

I shared such a feast last weekend at Merryvale Vieyards by Menegon Caterering, with friends. It was amazing! And, a ton of food!
