Saw gorgeous nudibranches and a frog fish among all other sorts of life!

Boat Captain Garret was on time and effective with communications As well as helping everyone on and off the boat. Keanu's and Koko's dive sites both offered something for everyone. Both site were extraordinary, with shallow ledges, great vis and an abundance of marine life. Omilu- big ones (Bluefin Travally), nudebranchs, and spawning aggregations of giant porcupinefish and turtles.

We first met Hopp when my wife and I wanted to see how interested we were in scuba diving. We…read morewanted to make sure we liked it before getting certified. We were concerned because one we had real fear of water and had found it very difficult just to snorkel. We were so lucky to hook up with Hopp. His personality and patience went far above and beyond what you could get in the quick certification programs offered locally. His get acquainted course assured us we were in the right place. After just a few attempts, his nurturing attitude diminished the fears to a point where we enjoyed the underwater breathing; so much so, we had Hopp perform our PADI open water training and certification. We actually qualified PADI Open Water Divers in no time. Let me assure you, Hopp takes his time and does not rush you through the process, he wants you to know and understand the material. We continued diving with our open water certification and then decided to increase our certification, so we had Hopp certify us as PADI Advanced Open Water Divers. Quite a change from not being able to put your head underwater to now we are advanced open water divers. I do not think we could have done it without Hopp.

We started at 6am and the morning was a tranquil visit to all the animals in the ocean. Our guides were Connor and Bethany, and they are knowledgeable naturalists and wonderful guides who took good care of us inside and outside of the water. Captain Kim knew we were birders and wanted to take photos of the shearwaters, boobys, and albatrosses and she always positioned the boat while giving us the best and most stable view for photography, while maintaining a respectful distance to the animals to avoid stressing them. We went out to Ka'ena point and had a great view of the Laysan albatross colony. There is truly nothing like having an albatross fly overhead. Along the way, we saw spotted dolphins actively feeding and playing, and also saw spinner dolphins! Seeing the monk seal lounging on the beach was a bonus. The wedge tail shearwaters had just returned so they were busy on the water. We also found masked boobys and brown booby feeding. We also saw turtles at their cleaning station! Connor and Bethany were knowledgeable about the landscape and the ecology and shared wonderful information. They are genuinely the nicest people! Highly recommended. The boat is comfortable and we were taking care of by the team (beverages, snacks, fruits, pastries). Thank you!

They were all very friendly and good at preparing everyone to get into the water safely. It was the perfect mix of freedom and safety while in the water. You don't need to hold on to a rope/stay right next to the boat like with other shark tours, but the crew keeps everyone safe the whole time. Nevertheless they accommodated and made it right by giving us an extra snorkeling tour in addition to the shark tour. We saw a variety of marine life which includes hawaiian green sea turtles, bottlenose dolphins, sharks, monk seals and many more ! The staff were very friendly and also really informative. They provided clear safety instructions before heading into the water to snorkel. Im afraid of both the deep big blue ocean and most of all sharks. However this experience made me truly look at it very differently. It was such a beautiful and memorable experience. I would most definitely do it again. Their prices are really competitive as well in terms of snorkeling and cage free shark diving. After all the research they are the most reputable and most budget friendly activity tours. Definitely recommend and most definitely will be booking again once I'm back in Oahu.
