If you need a new garage door definitely give them a call! Highly recommend! Our garage door was damaged from Hurricane Lala/Lowell and we needed to get it replaced. Pay came out and was very professional and thorough in her quote. She even offered to review photos if we had cleared enough space for the installation. The day of the install, Tyler and Noah did an awesome job! They were professional, fast, and friendly. They even took the time to make sure the outside of the garage door was wiped clean and the sides were fully sealed. Five out of five stars! read more

5 Stars for Tyler, Benaiah, and the whole Oahu Garage Door team! I don't write reviews very often--only when the service and product are truly exceptional--and Oahu Garage Doors (OGD) definitely earns it. OGD installed my gorgeous garage door ~4 years ago (which I still absolutely love), and their service is just as stellar today. When I called them today, they initially offered me an appointment for tomorrow. While that was totally reasonable, I had a scheduling conflict, and they were awesome enough to shuffle things around and squeeze me in the very same day! wowwie! They sent Tyler and Benaiah, who are absolute gems and such great assets to the company. They were thorough, professional, and so sweet and patient with this kupuna, taking the time to explain everything they did clearly. From the initial phone call to the final service, the entire OGD team is top-notch. When I asked AI for the best garage door company around, even the computer knew to recommend them! Oahu was quick to respond on Monday morning after my voicemail left on Sunday. They said there techs would be there on same day between 2 & 4 pm. Tyler and his assistant arrived right on time at 2:00 pm. Tyler is energetic and confident about his expertise. In about an hour and half they had replaced the belt drive train, heavy duty spring, adjusted settings and lubricated tracking. Excellent work! read more

Kalei helped me schedule a date for someone to come help fix an issue. She was friendly and easy to keep in communication with via text, as I'm battling a virus. Very convenient! Tyler showed up and figured everything out quickly. He not only fixed the issue, but also helped me set up the app on my phone. He even heard a sound the door made that he didn't like and added some lubricant. He's so friendly and respectful, like I was talking to 'ohana. They could be called 'Ohana Garage Doors and it would still be very fitting. This was covered by warranty. Definitely recommend this company! read more

Pay, the owner went out of her way to come out to the house on a Saturday (closed on weekends) to assess and give an estimate on removal and replacement of damaged door and tracks. Upon agreement of the service to be done, Ethan and Brandon showed up on Tuesday to do the job. It took them less than two hours to do everything which I thought was quick. They made sure that everything worked properly and informed us of any maintenance service when needed before leaving, as well as putting everything that was moved back in place and cleaning up. I would highly recommend them without question if you need to replace a damaged or aging door, or want to have an updated door and motor system. My experience with Oahu Garage Doors (OGD) was nothing but positive. I reached out to several garage companies to get quotes, and OGD was the first to respond-- very timely. I was able to quickly make an appointment for an estimate. And Day showed up on time and was professional and efficient. From there, I was able to select an install date that worked for me. I had to push my date out a couple weeks to get association permits but OGD accommodated me. On the install date, the crew arrived early and were friendly and professional. They did an excellent job on the install and were very quick. Outside of the above, OGD did a great job of sending me text and email reminders leading up to the install. Also, their prices seemed very fair/reasonable. Just a great all around experience! read more

We recently reached out to four different garage door repair companies and we decided to give Oahu Garage Doors a try since the person who answered the phone was friendly and very responsive. She wanted to come out the same day and see what we needed. Her name was Pay and it turned out she was one of the owners. All I can say is we made the right call. Her and her team made the whole process smooth and she was so sweet and hands on that I didn't doubt that they would do a wonderful job. The installers noticed a defect in one of the panels and they came back with a new panel a few hours later to ensure we had a perfect new door. Our home looks amazing after replacing our original garage door that was destroyed by termites. Pay and her team won't let you down if you need a new garage door. On time arrival. Clear explanations and great investigation. Problem solved. Good customer service.

Oahu Garage Doors was the best, from start to finish. We needed a new garage door, and while many provided quotes, Oahu Garage Doors was the only company that took the time to send someone to our place. I'm sure it's not necessary, most garage doors are pretty standard, and all the quotes I received from all the companies quoted about the same price. But it was nice to chat with Pay, and have her answer all my questions. And it was worthwhile, as she cleared up many things for me. The install was awesome too. The two techs, Tyler and Ethan, communicated ahead of time of their arrival. They were super polite, quick and efficient, and took the time to ensure our remotes were programmed, and we were good to go before they left. Cleaned up after themselves well too. I hope to never need another garage door in my life, but if I do, I'm going straight to Oahu Garage Doors. And I will definitely go to them for any servicing needs. read more

Ethan and Keith did a fantastic job in replacing our garage door opener. They were prompt, professional, and super helpful and friendly. I requested service for a garage door that was working intermittently, decided to get a replacement motor because old motor was from when we moved in over 15 years ago. OGD technician came on time, installed new motor, performed preventive maintenance, and suggested small maintenance items which would make the new system efficient and last longer. Tech also communicated well, was responsive to questions and concerns, and offered guidance on how to start using the new motor and customize settings. Felt the entire service was very good value in terms of quality motor, efficient service and preventive maintenance. This is one of those items that when it is not working as it should becomes a pain in the neck, now it is back to working order and is much quieter than before read more

Ethan is the main reason why I returned to this company to purchase a new garage door. He was pretty great when he serviced my door last year. He went above and beyond and gave me a lot of great tips. I do have a very old garage door, hence, why the springs broke. Their doors are prices very competitive and I went ahead and replaced the entire door. Ethan is professional, kind, and full of aloha. He is timely in his arrival and finished in a very prompt manner. There are other things about this company that is truly awesome. 1. They answer their phone! It's a small thing but when you are in a bind (broken door), you want to talk to someone, 2. they have availability and arrives on time, 3. the lady on the phone is a great communicator. All in all, I would really recommend Oahu Garage Doors! read more

Came out next day and fixed the problem fast and with aloha. Would definitely call again

I yelped several places before coming across Oahu Garage Doors. Ethan came a day later and looked at our garage, and explained why we were having the challenge with our door opener. On occasion our garage door didn't open or close efficiently, and it made a loud noise. Ethan explained and pointed out what was wrong with our garage door motor, and offered different brands of garage motors to choose from. The garage motor that we chose was not cheap, but offered a variety of bells and whistles that we felt we could use. With the one that we chose, we are able to access our garage opener anywhere with our phone. This came in handy when we accidentally left our garage door open the other day while we were out. Our Ring alarm indicated movement, and when we checked our camera, noticed we had forgotten to shut our garage door! Normally we would have rushed home, but with our phone, we quickly used our app and closed the garage. Phew!! Highly recommend the Linear garage motor, and Ethan! Ethan was very knowledgeable and efficient! read more
