Overall I'd say great value. My experience using this shop had some hurdles, but it was handled well. There was a miscommunication about scheduling that was upsetting, but they made up for it by getting me in the next day. There was a strange noise that appeared after the repair, and when I returned without an appointment to address it, it was fixed within 30 minutes at no additional cost. These situations showed me that Derek's automotive takes responsibility where other shops don't. Props to Austin at the desk for being very knowledgeable and taking care of me. Will be using them again.

I sat in the lobby for over an hour while my vehicle sat in the parking lot. They disrespected my time by not honoring the scheduled time. I watched as walk-ins got there problems taken care of and left. Perhaps I should not have made an appointment? Or is it that because they don't make any money on inspections and there is no priority; even for a scheduled appointment? After an hour and 15 minutes, I requested my keys back and will seek my inspection elsewhere. My money is best spent elsewhere for tires or any other service as well. Somewhere that respects the time of their customers, no matter what service is being performed.

I called them the Tuesday morning before the concert, they said they could get two tires (4 wheel drive) in by later the same day but couldn't install until 0800 the next (Wed) morning. It worked out perfect because I had to leave that morning to get to OH by the end of the day. They were amazing, personable, and did a great job mounting the tires (and all the stuff to go with it) and putting the spare tire all the spare parts neatly back in the Jeep. And, for a GREAT price I was able to get the same EXACT tires I had on the other two. Perfect service, they did what they said and left me with the peace of mind knowing I would be safe for the 1000 mile trip back home. Good Old Fashioned Mid-west hospitality.

I've been here a couple of times…read more We just moved to Missouri, so we had to get our cars inspected. They did a great job at a fair price. Our car had a tire that was bad so I ordered a new set from Goodyear. We set the installation appointment and when I brought the car in to have the car tires installed, they said that the tires did not arrive. It would have been nice to have been notified that they didn't have the tires before I showed up for the appointment. They weren't able to do much about the tires not being there, so I had to call Goodyear and get that resolved. But they told me what to do The shop, installed the tires, and did an alignment on our vehicle which is great now. When I picked up the car, all of the tires were under inflated and my monitoring system did not like that. So when I got home, I filled up all four tires from 38 pounds to 45 as they should have been. Cody and Tim are both very friendly and nice. We will probably buy from them again. I think there was just a whole bunch of errors that happened this first time, and hopefully not again.

Truly a bait and switch…read more Called to setup appointment last Friday because I received a Coupon flyer in the mail. It clearly had $85.95 FULL SYN & $44.95 for SYN BLEND oil changes. On the phone I told them I had a 2021 f150 (with cayote(7.7qt cap)) and FORD dealer has always used SYN BLEND on all previous changes. They also said it would be $8-10 per QT for additional oil. So I roughly figure $45 + $30 for extra oil = $85 + Tax. I go to counter at appointment time, they hand me paperwork to sign and the total is more than $140. That is nearly twice what they told me on the phone. Guy started telling me it requires FULL SYN & additional oil cost, bla, bla, bla. I asked for keys back and left. Even with FULL SYN it should have been ~$115. Will never waste my time with TELLE again. Also plan to contact corporate and let them know.
