My husband and I were excited to have our daughter return to The Learning Experience when she could. The staff is thorough with the CDC guidelines in dealing with the Covid-19 virus. Jackie and her staff are so warm and welcoming every morning at drop off and during pick-up. My daughter's teacher sends me a few pictures of what she works on and plays with during their outside time. The food options are healthy for her meals and snacks. They staff does a wonderful job with creativity; making ice cream in a plastic baggie, and bringing in donuts for the kids. She is learning to become independent and using her imagination. She gives the staff hugs and really builds a bond with everyone there.

I am beyond impressed by everyone at this school. From the director who is kind, personal, and wonderful, the admin staff are amazing coming up with creative ways to celebrate and teach, the staff always having a smile and hello when you pass, and of course the teachers. The teachers are what any parent is looking for for their children. The amount of effort and skill that goes into the daily learning is incredible. My 5 year old is in Ms Kim and Ms Maria's class, she has grown so much in a year. She just scored 99 %tile on the state testing and the knowledge she teaches us at dinner is beyond her years. She's leaving pre K knowing how to read, write, addition/subtraction. My other one is in Ms Marisol and Ms Teresitas 2's class and learning so much. I highly recommend this daycare for anyone questioning it. I highly recommend it to anyone who asks.

Will be updating once we have first hand experience but here's what I go so far from a tour:…read more Met with Krys; she's the director and has been there for years! We have an infant and are particular with our needs. This day care accommodates PT schedules (1-4 days), changes in schedules (e.g., from 2 days to 3 with wkly notice), will use parent provided cloth diapers, parents can choose to bring their own baby food (we feed baby an organic diet), and does not have a cut off age for classroom transitions. The atmosphere of the center appeared very caring and warm. Staff was personable and presented good communication skills. Offers HCPS discount. I'm not sure what other discounts are available. They also do a lot of what other day cares offer (i.e., diaper changes, free formula, curriculum for social-emotional-physical dvlp, etc.). I'm posting this review because I called and visited lots of places and was impressed with KinderCare. La Petite Academy too dirty and indifferent to children. Discovery Point is more affordable but the staff spoke broken English and they appeared to maximize child-teacher ratios. KinderCare appears to be more accommodating each individual's family needs and their values. I will be updating this review once my little one attends. Hope it helps other families out there who have similar needs.

My child attended KinderCare for 17 months. On 5/22/26, an incident occurred that ultimately led to…read moremy decision to withdraw my child from KinderCare. On the morning of May 22, my husband, and I changed our toddler's diaper before drop-off. At that time, his skin was completely clear with no diaper rash or irritation. KinderCare documents his last diaper change that day occurred at 3:15 p.m. He remained at the facility until approximately 6:15 p.m. that evening. Upon pickup, we returned home (3 minutes away) and changed his diaper, as we routinely do after pickup regardless of recent diaper changes. At that time, we observed the diaper change time written on his diaper as 3:15 p.m., consistent with KinderCare's practice of writing diaper change times directly on diapers with permanent marker. We observed blood in his diaper area; that his skin was no longer clear, unlike at the time of drop-off that day. The rapid development of this condition raised immediate concerns regarding the care he received while at KinderCare. The resulting diaper rash that progressed to raw, bleeding skin lasted 8 to 10 days. Staff informed me that the practice of writing diaper change times on diapers was implemented to ensure accountability and address prior concerns regarding diaper changing. This policy was introduced during the tenure of the current director, who is the third director I have observed during my child's enrollment. My concerns were not limited to a single incident. My husband and I sent separate messages on the app regarding concerns. Neither message received acknowledgment or response. Then, I received an email stating that I had not provided sufficient notice and would be billed accordingly. At that time, my access to the daycare app had also been disabled, preventing further communication or review of account messages through the platform. I am requesting that KinderCare: Waive any tuition, withdrawal fees, or additional charges related to my immediate withdrawal following these care concerns. Release my child's photographs immediately upon arrival or confirm they will not be withheld. Review the circumstances surrounding my child's care, including the diaper rash incident. Provide a written response addressing the concerns raised in this complaint. My primary concern is not solely the billing dispute, but whether the facility is providing an appropriate standard of care, maintaining adequate staffing, and responding appropriately when serious concerns are raised by parents regarding a child's health and well-being. I will be escalating this continuously through all available external resources. For documentation and legal purposes, please acknowledge receipt of this complaint and provide a written response addressing the concerns raised. If this matter is being referred to another department or investigator, please provide that information in writing as well. As of now, no one has responded to my multiple attempts to resolve this matter. KinderCare center is 301139. I look forward to your written response.

They are very flexible with daycare (if I cannot sit, my son can leave the boys there with short notice. Of course there is a fee for that, but I do not know what it is). Almost everyone here speaks Spanish as well as English which I'm sure is a plus to many in this area. My grandsons seem very happy here, they are always excited about "going to school" They had no socialization skills before this because they were in private daycare, so this has helped the very much. Their teachers are great, really care about the kids in their class. I wholeheartedly recommend Discovery Point (On Symmes Road) for your child's PVK and daycare needs.

I have 2 boys- D (4) and A (2.5). From the very first week at the center (end of July), I had many…read morered flags. We were typically the first few to drop off. It was more often than not, my children were never greeted with a hello, much less a hug or even a high five. The boys were never made to feel like their teachers were excited to see them. A sense of community/emotional safety was not obvious in this center...ever. I let this go, as I know my teacher background leaves me hyper-aware to subjects and research that not everyone has access to. It wasn't directly impacting my boys, so I let it go. Fast forward to school year starting- D in VPK and A in Pre K. D was coming home stating that he was the "the bad kid" and his teachers "hated him". D is very intelligent and manipulative at times, so again, I let it go. I am a teacher...I know what kids can say to skirt around the truth. And he is not always an angel of a child. :-) However, weeks of this went on. I tried everything I could at home to reassure him that he was not the bad kid, that sometimes he made poor choices but he was NOT a BAD kid. They boys' father attempted to speak to the director and teacher as well, but they blamed the emotional shaming on the other kids. Stating the other kids were the ones making him feel that way. Well, you're the teacher. Make this stop. Immediately. What sent me for a whirl, is when D told me about how his name was always on the "bad list". The next day I went into the classroom to confirm this "bad list", and sure as anything, there it was. A HUGE list on a chalk board, titled with a sad face ":-(" and a list of children's names. I quickly erased his name, reassured him again this does not define him and left. This is literally public shaming. Current research shows that behaviors should NOT be public knowledge. That only the child and their grown ups should be made aware of their areas for improvement. After weeks of this shaming, D took on the role of bad child. While this is also inexcusable, D felt he could do no right in the classroom, so he didn't. He was getting in trouble more and more. The behaviors got worse and worse. The only way behaviors were communicated were through extremely broken English, or a translator. I am unsure how they are communicating to my child if the teachers were barely able to communicate with me. NO attempt was made at filling in the social gaps that D was exhibiting. Shaming and disciplining were the only actions the center offered. And while D's actions were completely unacceptable, he was never given the support for the social-emotional lessons he needed. My children spent 40 hours a week with this center, and I paid a pretty penny to the center. I expect social-emotional skills to be taught just as much, if not more, than reading and math. I cannot teach D these skills in a home where there aren't 18 other kids. The school is responsible for these lessons. Long story short, the center ended up dismissing D for a scenario that NO ONE can explicitly explain. No details were given about what happened, just that the following day would be his last day. When I attempted to seek more information and ask clarifying questions, the director felt it appropriate to talk to me on speaker phone and gave me attitude when I requested for her to take me off. I also asked to speak to the owners (who I had never seen or met), and was told I would receive a call by the end of the business day. That was 3 weeks ago...I never received a call. I will say, A (a very 'in the box' and easy going child), never experienced any of this is his classroom. He probably never exuded behaviors to warrant any redirection, but his teachers were all very kind and warm. It was mainly Ms. Soraya and the director that were very cold to myself and D. I would not send your kids here if emotional safety is a priority for you and your family. It just is not a center that hugs first and teaches second.

I was told yes and told they have cameras and etc. Things were going good but then a new teacher started after the new teacher I notice my son started acting odd. Then 1/31 I had my son tested for autism and he was on the spectrum. I shared this with the center and director. After this I started getting reports daily over stupid things and was getting concern, they were targeting my son. I called corp concern they reassure me this is not the case. Fast forward April 1 2024, I saw the police was at daycare when I went to go pick by 2 year old son up. When I walked through the doors the director was calling me about what was going on. I guess the teacher was aggressively handling my child and another parent saw it was super concern. The daycare DID NOT CALL THE POLICE! This parent sat there for 2 hours and were the ones that called the police. This daycare wanted the owner show up before calling the police. Even the policy told me they were trying hide the incident. There are NO RECORDING for this because TLE does no record footage at all. This teacher was out of ratio 1 teacher to 21 kids during nap time. They didn't call me for 5 hours after this happened. My son had a bruise on his back. They told me at first Ms. Lacey was not being fired for it which was a lie! The director quit right after this. DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD HERE!!!
