Worst experience ever. I was interested in the summer VPK program that was supposed to start this summer and called in February to attain information. I spoke with Ms. Natasha over the phone, who had very little information. After a few email exchanges, she asked for me to come in for a tour as she promised to have more information about the program. When I arrived, there was no new information, but also, no one was prepared to give me a tour of the school, although I had an appointment. I spoke with Ms. Monica, the director, the same day to share my experience and she was apologetic and issued assurances that my experience was isolated, and not the norm with Kids Cove. She put me on the list of interested parents for the summer VPK program and shared that I would hear from her directly in early April to let me know if the school met state requirements for academia and enrollment to start the summer VPK program. Having not heard from Ms. Monica, today, I called and spoke with Ms. Karen, who shared that the program will not start this summer. When I inquired when parents, who are on summer list would be notified, I was told that the school planned to perform outreach this week or next, although they already knew that the program wouldn't be offered for the summer. It's a shame that the summer program was scheduled to start on May 2nd (in 3 three weeks), but the staff chose to wait until the last minute to notify parents on the list (all three parents) so parents can adequately plan for our children to attend another program-although the staff already had the information that the program would not move forward for the summer. As I shared via phone with Ms. Karen and Ms. Monica, this has been a very underwhelming experience. Kids Cove, thank you for your unprofessionalism, ineptness and lack of consideration. read more
