We received both and they were not a smoothie consistency at all, one in particular was extremely watery, not filled up all the way, and not very cold. Not a super huge deal at all as it can be remade. We asked a female employee to remake them or just reblend with ice. She was VERY irritated about it, took five min to reblend the most watery one and left a large portion of the smoothie in the blender because she didn't put it in a larger cup to account for the ice that adds volume. She refused to blend the second one at all with more ice saying "it's supposed to be that way" and was super rude to us, like more rude than I have experienced with an employee in a long time! We were polite and reasonable with our request. I have been a barista before and have made many smoothies and fraps--I can't express how easy it is to simply remake a drink or at the very least add some ice. It didn't warrant at all that kind of reaction... especially for $10.50 each and after tipping well. I'm just so stunned over that interaction. Very put off by that experience as locals! It's a great location next to Pilates right downtown but I can't imagine coming back if 1) the smoothies ARE supposed to be like that 2) they are so expensive 3) the staff is unaccommodating and rude. I will say the young guy who was on the register was very nice though although he is the one that made the drinks. However it did get busy and the female staff member was not helping him at all.
