I did some research to find that you go into 10" deep water that has 1000+ lbs of epsom salts in it. It's anti-gravity, so you float without effort. It's meant to be meditative, relieve anxiety, and assist in pain relief and improved sleep. You can float in a swimsuit or your birthday one (which helps increase the goal of sensory deprivation, as the swimsuit can take on a temperature different than your skin and the water temp). I like... the privacy of the rooms where you get your own float pod, shower (for before and after), shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and towels. The water temp is supposed to be 94F to match the temp of your skin, but at times, it felt a little cooler than that. Options in the pod to change the color of the light to any color of the rainbow, or shut it off completely, which I tried for the back half of my float! It did take a while to find the light switch at the end of the session, LOL. Option also to close the pod doors or leave them ajar. I closed mine after a few minutes. The prep room is available for use after you're done floating and showering. I used the hair dryer and leave in conditioner. The complimentary amenities are so nice, including hair ties, Q tips, deodorant, and individually wrapped brushes/combs! Afterwards, I had some ginger tea and tried out the oxygen room, where I got to sample the lavender orange one. I could have fallen asleep in there! I wish... I didn't bump into the sides of the pod as much as I did, LOL. I'm not even that tall. Can't imagine someone 6' or taller fitting into this, but I was told the pods are 7', and a former Bears player who's 6'9" made due. I wonder... how the long lasting benefits of float therapy can help me. It's supposed to lead to a good night's sleep, so I'm looking forward to that! I met Murphy upon my first arrival to True Rest. He was very pleasant and has owned the spa with his sister for the past 1.5 years. I spent over 2 hours there, and it was very relaxing! Felt like I was transported to another world. Next time, I'll be sure to spend a little time in the Oasis Room afterwards to journal or color in the adult coloring books. Can't wait to come back!

We did to want to do the nude portion of the spa. We spent four hours at King Spa. WE checked out all the rooms plus the ICE room. It was so relaxing and I did fall asleep a few times. Upstairs they have the Meditation rooms . Those rooms are the Oxygenated room and an infra red room. On the first floor they have a theater room, a salt room, a gold room, a sun room, a charcoal room, other rooms and a cafeteria area. You can also pay for a massage. Unfortunately, I had three tests done. Flu: negative. Covid: negative. Strep: negative. It ended up being a sinus infection. I was given a prescription for antibiotics. After two days of taking them with not much relief, I decided to elevate my healing with an IV. IV-Me Wellness Center had an opening for 9am. I decided on the Wellness IV; the B and C vitamins promised a boost to my energy and an improve my overall health. It includes an oxygen treatment for brain health and mental clarity. Then you finish up with a B-shot in your arm or glute which promotes good rest. Kim took such good care of me during my drip. I was so relaxed that I had fallen asleep. She gave me a blanket and reminded me to push the button if I should need anything. After an hour and a half, all I needed was to use the restroom. For those of you that are not familiar with an IV, it is filling you up. Very hydrating and the amount of liquids will cause you the need to go. I literally slept like a baby last night and this morning I feel like a million bucks. I mean I really feel so much better. I can even breathe with my mouth closed.
