I visited to get a little something sweet after dinner. They have a dozen or so ice cream flavors, plus fudge and chocolates and other candies. I chose to get a milk chocolate caramel and a marzipan fruit. Both of them were great, but I especially loved the marzipan. I rarely eat marzipan, but when I do, I'm always reminded of how much I love almond paste. Yum yum. The people who I was with who got ice cream said that their ice cream was good. I took their word for it because I'm not a big ice cream fan! The people behind the counter were very patient, as some of the people in my group were indecisive. There are just so many great goodies, and it can be difficult to decide what to get! The people at Kilwins get it, though.

WOW! We stopped in here after spending an hour or so at the Lake Geneva museum today. My 2 young…read morekids were indecisive like all kids are, so the young lady making the popcorn let us all try any flavor we wanted to help us decide. We had a lot of samples! In reading some earlier reviews about the cleanliness and professionalism of the staff. We were greeted very warmly the minute we stepped in and my 3-year old was a bit on the cranky side so she dealt with that well too! We had a completely different overall experience than the person wrote from earlier this year. The walls were perfectly in order, stocked with all bagged popcorn flavors and candy. Floors and counters were clean. They also had a beautiful display of gourmet candies to the side of the check-out counter, above it which listed also their ice cream offerings and prices. They had all their various tins with many patterns to choose from on the top shelves. My kids enjoyed watching fresh carmel corn being stirred up behind the counter. She even let us sample the fresh/warm popcorn. The lady was a great sales person, that is for sure. We walked in thinking we'd buy a small bag for the kids to share and we ended up walking out with a 2-pound tin tub, plus an extra bag of cheesy bacon pizza popcorn. We paid around $30, which really was a good price if you look at Garrett's prices! Plus, the lady told us that we could bring the empty tin back anytime (no expiration) and get it refilled with a discount - I think she said 15%. I liked that we were able to get 3 different flavors to fill up the tub. She filled it to the rim too. The tub seems to hold at least 7 of the large bags that were sold individually. My favorite was the 3-cheese that had white chedder, parmesan and I 'think' just regular cheddar. It melts in your mouth. So good! We were just there a couple of hours ago and I think I am half way through this third of the tin. We might need to refill the tin before heading home from Lake Geneva in a couple of days. My kids liked the carmel/cheese that was seedless (tastes like Cap N' Crunch cereal) and a white chocolate one. I might need to have some shipped to me during the year as this popcorn is seriously addicting! My mom is sitting in front of me as I am typing this and she is eating some of the popcorn, and she just said this stuff is so addicting. Agreed!

She was kind, patient and talkative. 5 stars Atmosphere: kind of a strip mall mext to a gas station. Clean inside and out. No seating inside. Beautiful, well displayed goods. I had a few things. 1. Small bite sized chocolate cake (don't remember the name). 5 stars. The best value and in a small package. Raspberry fold over. Fresh and light and tangy. I really enjoyed this one. 4.5 stars. Lemon bar was solid but not anything exceptional. 4 stars. Pecan sticky bun was also solid but a little dry for me. 4 stars. A coconut dish that looked like an ice cream scoop of coconut on a bed of dark chocolate. I wish it had a higher chocolate to coconut ratio...maybe dipped in chocolate instead of drizzle on top? Other than that, it was really good. 4.5 stars. My friend enjoyed his cinnamon roll and also loved the bite sized chocolate cake. 4.5 stars. Very well done.
