As we're 50 miles from their shop, we send the serial number and ask him to check CarFax and validate his offer, which he does. We could not have been more explicit or thorough. We got there at opening at 10am as he requested. He was late and told us he has 4 things going on, and we'll need to wait. 45 minutes later he tells us his "assistant" misinterpreted the mileage and they couldn't pay us anything close to what he offered. The mileage was clearly stated in the ad, and the CarFax shows the same detail. If you know anything about the car business, this is standard unethical, sleazy business practice that is very intentional. It's bait and switch to take advantage of people. He didn't apologize, and he didn't try to make it right. In fact, he acted like he was the customer. Collectively, we spent 8 hours and 180 miles on this waste of time. If this is what the Harnish family business is all about, then there's some serious issues starting at the top. On principle alone, I would not do business with these folks.

Austin at Discount Tire in Federal Way turned a stressful tire situation into a smooth experience…read more I had an unexpected tire pressure warning come up while driving and was trying to get it handled quickly so I could still make an appointment in Woodinville. I called several tire shops, and Austin was easily the most patient, helpful, and genuine person I spoke with. He looked online for the best price, called around to check availability, waited on hold, and stayed calm and professional the entire time. When I arrived, he was already outside waiting and got me in quickly. No pressure. No runaround. Just excellent service from someone who clearly cares. Because of Austin, I'll be choosing Discount Tire moving forward!!!

This is the **worst Discount Tire location I have ever been to**, and I'm just getting around to…read morewriting this review even though the situation happened about a month ago. I stopped by simply to get air in my tire. I sat in the air service line for several minutes without anyone coming out. I finally asked an employee if anyone was working in that area, and I was assured, *"Yes, sorry, he's on his way."* I waited another **20 minutes or so** and eventually stopped another employee to ask what was going on. Again, I was told, *"He's on his way now."* We could actually see the employee walking in our direction, so the employee I was speaking with walked away, apparently thinking I was finally about to receive service. Instead, the employee walked to an area where I could no longer see him and disappeared for another **15 minutes or so** before finally coming to my vehicle. At that point, he told me I needed to go inside because my tire had **"too little air" for him to fill it.** That was simply not true. I have never experienced anything like this at another Discount Tire location. What should have been a quick and simple request to put air in my tire turned into nearly an hour of waiting, repeatedly having to track down employees, and ultimately being given an excuse that didn't make sense. The lack of customer service and professionalism at this location was extremely disappointing. **I will not be returning to this Discount Tire location and would not recommend it to others.** If you want, I can also make it **sharper and more "Google review" style**, with wording that really emphasizes how unacceptable the employee's behavior was.

Recently bought a pre-owned 2018 Honda CR-V EX-L from Lexus of Tacoma at Fife, trusting their…read morereputation for quality. That was a massive mistake. The air conditioning completely failed within 24 hours of driving the car off the lot. After taking it to a Honda dealership they discovered a completely failed compressor shaft seal and a heavily leaking AC discharge hose. It is highly suspicious that the AC worked perfectly during the brief test drive, strongly suggesting the dealership simply recharged the refrigerant right before showing the car to mask a known, pre-existing issue OR just looked the other way at the leak. When I brought this to their attention, the response from management (GM: Frank Lee and Sales Director: Michael Spektor) were completely dismissive. They hid behind "as-is" paperwork to avoid covering the $800 repair bill for a component that failed immediately. If their multi-point inspection failed to catch an active AC leak, they are completely incompetent; if they knew about it and chose not to disclose it, they are dishonest. But don't worry you get your first oil change free here because everyone is so nice here - just not when they need to pay. Not to mention on our first drive out, the splash guard at bottom fell out the bottom while going 70MPH on I-5, you can only image what they would refuse if it had hit someone or caused an accident. Not inspected I'm guessing Once they have your money, they do not care about selling a functional vehicle or respecting your boundaries. Do yourself a favor and buy your next vehicle elsewhere.

Big Waste of Time. My first time to a pick and pulll yard and I was really let down by this place…read more I got off work early to get there before they closed and even called ahead of time to confirm they had the vehicle I needed. They said they did. I show up, talked to the front desk and waited to talk to a rep. The old man I talked to had leather wrinkled skin with not one bit of enthusiasm or empathy for me explaining it was my first time. I saw him being short to the customer in front of me. Someone needs to get this grumpy guy out from behind the desk. Anyways, he tells me they don't have my Lexus Rx but apparently the part I needed was compatible on a Highlander. So he points me in the direction at the end of the lot to find the vehicle by myself. I knew better than to try my luck asking for someone to walk me out. I go, I look, I can't find the white Toyota he showed me a picture proving they had. I find another Highlander but it's not the same year, neither has the same part on it. I call the front desk to get a better understanding instead of walking back with all my tools to do so... they answer and put me on a 12 minute hold before I hung up the phone. I stand puzzled and soon find a lot forklift driver to help me out. Surprisingly he was very patient and helpful with my questions. That was a relief. He tells me the car I'm looking for isn't in the lot because it's new and needed to be staged. He tells me ten minutes but i waited in the location with the other highlanders thinking he would bring the new one to me in ten minutes. Well it took me 25 minutes to find him bring it in to the front of the lot. Again the caliper on the Toyota did not match the one on my Lexus and I wasn't going to risk paying for a part that is said to be compatible. What should have been a successful 1.5 hr trip turning into 3.5 hour let down. I don't like leaving reviews but because I've already wasted so much time what more is a deserving review of this place. Fix your front office! I will say this review probably won't matter because they do well from an operation standpoint by having a large lot and wide selection however I'm still going to be bitter, leave this review and try my luck with other places.
