Recently I took in a battery to get tested and I asked if it was ok if I couldn't make it back that night, was told that would be fine. I come in to pick it up and no one can find it, I have to come back the next morning and still no one can find it. The store manager tells me that it was accidentally sent out and he'll talk to the staff about it. Great but that doesn't help me at all. I was told that it tested bad but of course I have no way of knowing that. I mentioned that now I don't even have a core to turn in for a new one and his reply was "don't you have another old one you can use?" Really? You lose mine and can't even spot me the core charge. He then said the best he can do is 20% off. That is doing nothing since I have a 20% off code in my email that I don't need his help for. Luckily there are more parts stores in the area now than there used to be so I won't be going back.

DO NOT USE THIS FACILITY!!!!!…read more I brought in my vehicle for a NC inspection, it was close and seemingly convenient. I was told I needed to put more mileage on the car, according to the technician, it was 'not ready', which wasn't a great explanation but, I understood that I would have to return once the was more mileage on the car, again no valid explanation for that either, but it wasn't too much of an issue At that point, I was informed that I needed to replace a light bulb. I instructed them to move forward and confirmed that was all that was needed to pass inspection. 20 mins later, the person at the desk told me the technician was having a very hard time getting the bulb out. Then, after about 15 more minutes, the technician came to the waiting area with what appeared to be a broken housing and explained that he broke it when he tried to get it out. He then informed me that I had to provide a new headlight assembly in order for the bulb to be replaced. I requested to speak with the owner, to discuss replacement of the part his technician broke. He called me 2 hours later, and without explanation said he was not going to cover it. The owner claimed it was melted in and the only way to get it out was to break it. And also this was regular wear and tear. So now, no headlight, no inspection, no faith in this facility. Unless you want your parts to be broken, and then be responsible for replacing them, DO NOT USE THIS FACILITY!!

Then some old guy that looked like a cross of Father Time and a Warlocks biker gang member complete with the white beard and bandanna hopped in the conversation. He proclaimed you NEVER balance a trailer tire. I have a history in mechanical engineering and I was a Certified ASE Master Technician for 20 years. They say never argue with a fool. Then this kid came over and told me if HE scratched my new wheels that HE wouldn't be responsible. WHAT? These were 165/80/13 tires. Tall sidewalls are easy to mount. The tire store across the street mounts the 30 and 25 aspect ratio Michelin tires on my BMWs and they don't have a "if I damage you wheel doing my job...I'm not responsible" policy. Needless to say, I left.
