Their prices are always cheaper than everyone else. I call ahead and they have my stuff waiting for me when I walk in. Nice people.

Found RDU Cell Phone Repair on Google and called them with questions related to an iPhone 13. The…read morephone has a battery health of 61% and displays a message that the battery health is not in a good condition. It cuts off and on and I'm just not interested in buying a new phone. The guy who answered the phone let us know that he could fix the issue and have it done within 20 minutes. We came to the location right away and located Curtis who was the gentleman that was going to help With my phone. The suite/office is located inside of a building. The location has a lobby waiting area, however Curtis let my daughter and I wait in the office as he fixed my phone. He told me and showed me how my battery had extended (physically it was making my screen bulky), which was contributing to my battery life being horrible with my phone. He literally was done fixing it within 20 minutes and the phone's battery was at 77% once he was done fixing it - so I didn't have to wait to be able to use it. He was knowledgeable, kind and quick. I would return for other services and would recommend him/RDU cell phone repair to others in need of services. I paid around $75 and they accept digital payment. They also buy devices as well! I…read moreknow this because twice in one month I've ordered something online only to discover the week of that I never actually completed the ordering process, clicked "confirm" or "submit" or what have you. And so I find myself flailing the day before an event without a) a giant cardboard cow cut-out -- or in this case b) a video projector. Panicked, I started pulling up Google searches to see where I could rent one same-day but most of the places I found were parts of larger organizations that weren't locally based and didn't offer same-day delivery. Enter Custom Light & Sound. I phoned them up and spoke with Matt -- sounded youngish, and maybe a little green. Asked me all the right questions though -- how big and how dark is the space, how many people are attending. After he took down my info and told me to pick it up before noon, I had to finally ask him how much it was and what the product was. Turns out, he'd picked something out for me based on my needs that wasn't featured on their website. So, whereas I'd thought the costs for their projectors ranged from $100-200, I was pleasantly surprised to learn that my not-on-the-website projector was only $85! I went to pick it up and met Lee at the register. The first words out of his mouth were "21" which is an odd thing to say to someone you've just met. I looked inquisitively at my husband and then back at him. And he expounded: "We only rent to 21 and up." Good Lord, I'm pushing 30. But whatever. Turns out he's best friends with my husband's former college roommate -- so it's okay that he bruised my ego. They called Wayne to come out and check on the equipment before handing it off to me. He was a bit gruff, but did look through everything and assure us it had all the required cables, etc. The credit card machine wasn't working at pick-up so Lee gave us the okay to take it with the promise that we'll pay when we return it. Equipment ran great and interactions with the folks here was overall a positive experience. And don't be fooled by the cramped-looking exterior. Once you enter this little treasure trove, you'll discover it runs deep and is packed to the gills with audio and lighting goodies, plus fun accessories like disco balls and fog machines!

Unfortunately I usually cannot find any paint matches. Service is pretty straight forward - enter, find parts or assistance, pay and go about one's business. Seems like every time I've been here the place has been swamped and they've been short staffed. I don't mind the wait because I generally don't come here when I have some place to be right away. The store is clean and the staff is very willing to help out if they can.

This place has some kind of inside problem going on. First, I bought a set of brake pads for my…read morecar. When I got home and my mechanic began to replace them, he discovered the box that was suppose to contain the back brake pads, had two new pads and two old, rusty pads and was missing all the shims. The website shows every single set of back brakes contained shims. I called the store right away and asked for the manager who mumbled his name when I asked for it. He said there was nothing he could do unless I drove back to the store. So, we made the half hour drive to get the entire back set of brakes, replaced. When I got there, the first thing the manager did was try to sell me another set! I quickly informed him I wasn't paying for anything else and that I only wanted a new box with four new brake pads. Still, he tried to pressure me into getting a box with shims and said he would give me a 10% discount. Honestly, he was only trying to bait and switch to throw me off as he could see I was quite angry about the whole ordeal. He went to grab a new set and I told him the entire box needed to be checked. He threw the box on the counter and flipped open to box and I, the customer had to open each pad individually. The pads were fine but this box was missing shims! So now, two boxes are missing parts. The manager and I had an exchange and all he could say was that it wasn't his fault and there was nothing he could do. He told me he could order a new box and it would be here on one week. He had no people skills, never apologized, never offered a solution. He did repeat that " this happens all the time!" The manager then tried to make me feel sorry for him citing he only made 9.00 and hour, like that had anything to do with anything. He stated he didn't know the person who I origally sold me the pads a few hours earlier. He said we could call the store manager. I later called that number and it goes back to the store! District manager number was inoperable and district number worked so I left a message. Never again will I buy anything from Auto Zone. Two packages both missing parts. People in management not taking responsibility and not offering any resolution. They also acted like they could care less that my car was taken apart and only had half a brake job! I got my money back for half of my purchase. I went next door and got the correct set with all the parts! Rude staff, inside theft of parts, horrible customer service and they don't care they have inconvenienced you! Stay far, far away from this store!
