It is not much to look at and to my northern eyes the guys seemed a bit mello. When Boris drove my car into the bay he noticed the hesitation that I had chalked up to my car being 9+ years old. He said that it is usually caused by carbon build up and for an other $70 hr could clear it up, I said go ahead. Of course it was zebras not horses and he diagnosed a leak in my intake. They didn't have the part to fix it but they pointed out that it was likely covered by the Hyundai warranty. Their diagnosis was right and it turned out that it was covered and I got it repaired free, score. These guys are honest, inexpensive and genuinely nice. If you need a mechanic that is worthy of trust, I recommend these guys.

I would give this shop zero stars if I could. This was by far the worst experience I've ever had…read morewith a mechanic. I brought my car in because it was overheating and was quoted nearly $1,400 to replace a PCM wire, replace the thermostat, and perform a coolant flush. When I asked basic questions about why these repairs were necessary, I was met with arrogance and attitude instead of answers. No one could clearly explain what was supposedly wrong with my vehicle. My dad called on my behalf to ask additional questions, and they treated him just as poorly. Rude, dismissive, and unwilling to explain their diagnosis or pricing. At that point, it felt less like they were trying to help and more like they were hoping I would blindly agree to an expensive repair bill. When I called back and told them I wanted to take my car elsewhere for a second opinion, they were extremely rude I was even considering a second opinion, told me to come get my car now, and hung up on me. That's all I needed to know. Picking up my car was no better. There was around a $100 diagnostic/service fee, I understand paying for someone's time and had no issue to pay it. The issue is while I was paying it I was never truly acknowledged, I felt very uncomfortable and could tell they were upset I was picking my car up. I then took my car to a dealership for a second opinion. They were shocked by both the diagnosis and the quote I had been given. The actual problem? A single pipe with a hole in it that needed to be replaced for around $600. No thermostat or PCM replacement. No unnecessary work. The dealership was so surprised by what I had been told. I genuinely believe this shop tried to take advantage of me and pressure me into paying for repairs my car did not need. If you aren't knowledgeable about cars, be extremely careful. Ask questions, get a second opinion, and don't let anyone bully you into approving expensive repairs. I will never return and would never recommend this place to anyone.

As a woman, it is sometimes difficult to find a good mechanic that does not talk down to you, etc. Matt Taylor, the Service Manager, and Josh (who has been "my" mechanic for the past year) do an outstanding job taking care of my car and providing excellent customer service with a smile and with kindness. Last week my check engine light came on. I pulled over and called them right away and they managed my anxiety and said it might not be a big repair and that I could bring it in to have it checked anytime. I had hoped it would be nothing but on my way home from work the car started to shudder and I headed right there, knowing that it needed to be looked at. It was pouring rain, and I made it within a mile and the car completely stopped at a red light. I called and Josh listened to what had led to the car dying and said he would arrange for a tow truck and that he would wait for me at the store until I got there. It was close to 6pm so I was worried. Just hearing Josh say that he would wait for me, dialed my anxiety level down from a 10 to a 1. Who does that?!?! Matt and Josh do that! These folks are so kind, so professional, and provide such EXCELLENT customer service, which is why I trust them implicitly and keep coming back. ALSO, the tow he arranged for me arrived within 10 minutes (that almost never happens). They even had someone drive me home (a young woman who is in training, which I thought was cool). Like anyone who has their car in the shop, I was anxious to get the estimate and was praying it could be fixed for a reasonable price. Spoke to Matt then Josh and heard the list of what needed attention. Ouch! Who has $2000 to drop on a car repair? Not me. They understood that and did not scare me to squeeze out a few extra $$ on unnecessary services. They did an excellent job explaining everything to me (in language I understood and without an ounce of condescension) and prioritized for me what needed to be done immediately and what could wait. Also, Matt calmed me down when I was in the shop and burst into tears when I heard the quote. Who does that? They do!! Earlier this year I had an incident with my A/C Compressor and serpentine belt, and they were as professional and understanding as they were with this recent interaction. These folks know what they are doing. They do thorough inspections. They are superb at repair work. They are Top Notch in the customer service department. This is where you would want your elderly mother to get her car fixed.
