Smart people. Good service. Love that they recycle batteries. Watch battery cost $5 and took 5 minutes. I will never go to another mom and pop shop jeweler again to get crushed on price and time. Ever. And I don't know about you but when those lights go out below your microwave -- you know the ones that help you not burn stuff on the stove -- and Publix or Kroger charges like $10 for one that doesn't fit right...go to BPB, baby. :-). This is a great store, not only for batteries and battery replacements, but for gadgets for men or gifts for young teens. It just has cool stuff, like really bright flashlights with a magnet on one end for working on cars - ideal for the glove box. They will replace the battery in your car fob remote and provide a lifetime warranty replacement on the battery, just bring it in and they will change it whenever needed. Usually AA and AAA batteries are on a very good sale. There are different kinds of lighting systems for security. It is just a fun store to visit. I once needed a special type of battery for a starter system for a swim meet that was about to begin. Our regular battery died and Batteries Plus saved the day by having the replacement in stock. read more

Cracked my brand new cell it was an accident. This place was the only place that were able to order my new screen I understand you have to make an appointment but i called i was told they took walk ins & the girl that work there was rude she told me it would be ready by 4pm. They might be good for bulbs but stay with CPR for cell phone repairs! My experience: 2 months ago carried in for a cracked screen and they replaced. Phone software started acting up and would open almost every phone application( including security screen interjecting random digits until it locked you out). 2 trips back to "update the software" didn't work but when I took it out of the case and the case pressure it worked fine. So out of the case I dropped it and replaced the glass and screen protector again, less than 2 weeks ago. 2 days ago I sat down on a floor with the phone in my front pocket ( with a new screen protector in a hard case and I heard a crack). So less than 2 weeks after replacing I went back today and asked if they used an inferior glass that was so sensitive it couldn't handle any type of pressure. The solution, manufacturer won't warranty, need a new glass and screen protector (we can give you a 20% discount). My solution, dropping the phone off at CPR (cell phone repair) where I never experienced this (with any of the 5 phones in my family) over many years. Moral of the story: Trust batteries and bulbs to the battery and bulb guys and phones to the phone experts! read more

They talked me into paying extra for a watch BATTERY FOR LIFE it has been replaced three times in less than three years. On one occasion I had to say wait why is there condensation on the crystal DUH why should I have to ask Attitude is horrible like asking what did you do to your watch. In today's social media climate where everything is negative. I truly want to take the time to recognize John Benjamin and his staff at Batteries Plus Bulbs. As my Jeep Grand Cherokee limped into their parking lot when they were closing they not only took the time to test my battery but they also had to get the old battery out and because of a rusted bolt it took a very long time to remove. Bought a 2 pack of specialty bulbs and I did pick the wrong one, however one the bulbs had a cracked glass and the prong fell out. I took it back and they have a NO exchange or return policy on bulbs. I had to buy another pack of them and ended up paying double. All he could tell me was how good the battery return policy was. Well, I was not buy a batter, C'mon, half of there name is BULBS. DO NOT buy bulbs from them the return policy is non-existent. read more

I've been in-store once and spoken to them on the phone once, and they were helpful both times. Both times, I was looking for an oddball battery for an old device (I'd been unable to find it online myself). When I was in-store, I wasn't surprised that they didn't have the battery in stock (I very seriously doubt there's much of a market for it-- this isn't something I expected them to carry in the first place). It did take longer than I anticipated to communicate what I was looking for; admittedly, I didn't have the device in-hand, but I did know the specs. They offered to order it then (a nice service), but I wasn't 100% sure we were on the same page about it being the correct battery. I let some time pass and called, giving the same information. The person I spoke to nailed down the correct battery much more quickly and ordered it, which was a very simple process (from the phone call to picking it up). I'm pleased to know there's a place where I can look for obscure things like this and have the convenience of having someone knowledgable track it down. read more
