I would never recommend this company. I had a plug put into my brand new tire and within 24 hours the entire tire was flat. I went to another shop the next day and got another plug put in. I've had no problems in the last two days with the new plug. I called to get a refund from grease monkey and they stated I was gonna have to bring the tire back to them. Why would bring a tire back to them to repair when they can't even put a plug in correctly? Obviously, this could've caused a bad accident. And this is not the way to do business. read more

Before heading out of town last week I needed to take my truck in for an oil change. My intention was to just get my oil changed, but after the guys here at Grease Monkey went through my vehicle inspection, I ended up getting a few more things fixed while I was in. The staff were friendly, polite and informative. The shop itself is small, so you may want to call ahead and see if they are busy before riding over. Their waiting area is clean, with comfortable chairs, a well stocked coffee bar and a clean restroom, which is always a welcome feature at car shops. So while I did go from spending about $80 on a synthetic oil change to $225 for oil change, tire rotation, and some replacement filters, I'm glad they brought so much to my attention & helping me take better care of my truck. 10/10 will recommend and look forward to returning in the future. read more

These guys took great care of me and my truck, showed and explained the problem and fixed it for me. They were professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. They are over priced, they said they were going to fix the plugs and wires and charged me 500$. They didn't even fix it, the cross threaded the cylinder when replacing the spark plug causing me to have to fix it when I got it back home. When they realized it wasn't fixed they tried to charge me 250$ for a part that wasn't even broken. Highly do not recommend this place! read more

I took my car in to get an oil change, a transmission fluid change roughly 2 weeks ago. So I thought to check my fluids, and the dipstick was filled with dirty oil, it was not clear it's like they never did the job just added oil. And the transmission oil was not changed like I asked them to do and they charged me for it. Damn near $200 and now I gotta get it redone again somewhere else. I should have went with my first instinct that they seemed to be trashy and put trash in my car. And come to think, my engine was not running properly like it was before this incident. Jack the assistant manager really helped me and my family out today. We needed a new air compressor and everything that goes with it which was more than I thought it would be or could afford, which was not their fault, and he really worked with us more than any place ever has. These guys have always been amazing but today they went even further to help us out. I honestly don't understand how anyone could have a bad experience here. I tell everyone I know how professional and caring they are. They guarantee their work and do everything possible to help their customers out, most places aren't willing do do the bare minimum to help but these guys really go above and beyond. I can not thank them enough for taking care of our family's only vehicle. You can tell they genuinely care about their customers and that is amazing and hard to find. I can't believe I went back, but my wife's car needed a quick oil change before going out of town. I had a coupon for a $ 59 synthetic oil change. I was told that based on what we had used in the past the coupon was not valid! I went ahead anyway because I was under a tight time line. After they finished they pulled my car around and they had not vacuumed the car. The employee told me that they didn't do it because there were only two employees working. That shouldn't matter, but I was the only customer there, it was just the 3 of us. I ask him to please do it. He reluctantly agreed to do it and had it back around in less than 3 minutes. I ask why he didn't vacuum the whole car and was told that they only did the drivers side and he had worked there a year. I had been a loyal customer for over 10 years and knew that this wasn't true. I had also had a bad experience there a few months ago(I also left a review for that visit). I should never have broken down and gone back. Such a shame. read more

I have been going to Grease Monkey for a decade probably at this point, but as of late when new management took over, I've had nothing but issues with them. I went to get an oil change and according to my paperwork all fluids were checked and good. Also "vacuumed" was checked on my paper. I don't even have carpet in my vehicle so that's lie #1. My car started over heating on me. After overheating several times I called Grease Monkey to see if they could check it out. They said it would be $125 to "diagnose the problem and if they could fix it the fee would be waived. If they could not fix it the $125 down the drain. I decided to call a friend that fixes vehicles. When he came to check my car out, my car did not have any water in it!! That is why my car was overheating. So that was the big Lie #2 that Grease Monkey had on my paperwork. How can they claim they checked the fluids and my water was virtually empty. They almost caused me to damage my engine. They also charged my daughter $89 for an oil change and claimed they "vacuumed" the vehicle and they had not. I do not trust them at all anymore and I will not take any of my vehicles back again. They also keep charging that price claiming they have to use "synthetic" oil but they don't. When I called them out on that my oil change dropped to $50. They are simply ripping people off. read more

Didn't try and sell me the most expensive brakes, told me that he used the cheaper ones on he and his wife's car! If there was an option to choose 0 stars I would have. Worst decision I have ever made to take my car here! My AC was acting up but still working, I wanted an oil change and asked them just to look at the AC to see what the problem may be. They have no idea what they're doing and in diagnosis ended up busting my only 2-year old AC compressor!! Not only did they have nothing to say about it when they admitted that I was getting my car back in a WORSE condition then when I dropped it off but they quoted me the highest-by double-to fix it!! Bad service was told that our vehicles break light was out and that they would replace it for us for a fee we told them no that we have a light in glove box and we will replace it. Went to check on it after we left and no break light or turning or any light was out front or back. They also gave us a list of problems for our vehicle totaled out to about 500 dollars every other place we went to said our vehicle looked fine and minor (fluids, etc.) needed to be worked on but that's it.....this place is a rip off. Have been to grease monkey on agusta and they seem more honest I don't think they are associated with this one on laurens. read more
