This review I am writing is to warn people but especially WOMEN from this Car shop owner AND his hatred against women. I had my car towed to the shop since everything was replaced and the only part was that I could not replace the water pump. When Robert called me back, he would ask me questions but did not allow me to speak. He would cut every sentence I started and when I called Rober out on this disrespect multiple times, he said that he would not work on my car. Also, every sentence Robert ended was IN MY 45 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE, you need a new car or a new engine, which was a lie. When I spoke about my car that is 2006 infinity, he had no real knowledge about the car like a important fact the infinity has a safety lock down that assures that car never overheats and keeps the engine safe, in this case I already had replaced everything with my son. The only part that was left to install was a water pump that needed to be added to it. Robert did not know that this was my son he was talking too and when my son called Robert that's when Robert refused to work on my Car. And in his last sentence to my son was that he needs to watch out for me since this woman is a Lier and dose not give the whole story about the care. Let's remember he did not listen to me and cut me off every chance he had but I also told Robert in any business no one speaks and ends any sentence with in my 45 years of experience I know better than you that you need a new engine or buy a new car, I responded to Robert that as a car mechanic who speak like that to a customer? Robert replied I speak like that to everyone, so that's means he will tell everyone to get a new engine or new car because in Roberts 45 years of experience lacks the real knowledge or the respect for Women. Why would he call me a liar other than Robert heard my accent, which I am from Europe and understand car, but I did not have the tools to get to the water pump replaced. Brought a car in to replace the power steering pump. They charged us over $600 and we provided the pump. When we drove the car home the power steering was worse than when we brought it in and car overheated on the way home (only about 5 miles from shop). Checked coolant when we arrived home and it was overfilled. They said the coolant was low when they got it so they added more, but the car was not over heating prior to being taken in. The car in currently undriveable. The power steering doesn't work and it overheats despite having coolant. In the past they have replaced my windshield wipers without being asked to do it or even asking me if I wanted them replaced. Said it needed it so they did it. I had them put my original wiper blades back on because I could replace wiper blades at a fraction of the cost they were going to charge me. read more

I cannot say enough about this family owned business! They are tops! I stopped in for an oil change and being from out of town they squeezed me in. They also found issues with my break which the light was coming on so they gladly fixed that as well. They are honest and dependable. Went there for Air Conditioning cooling very slow at start-up and I needed a new battery and oil change. Here was the outcome. AC Diagnostic: Owner doesn't know AC and his AC tech was on vacation and wouldn't get back until following week. Not a good sign when the owner doesn't know AC diagnostic. They indicated AC was working fine after new battery so I dismissed them trying to do AC diagnostic because the wanted $110 to do it if I came back the following week. Oil Change: They used Sunoco Synthetic Blend Motor Oil 5W30 which I've never used and they didn't ask me if that was Ok but did it without my permission. Oil price per quart was retail $3.49/quart which you can buy by the 55 gal barrel retail (which I'm sure they buy it wholesale) for $2.22 and so they 150% profit on the oil. The oil filter was a ProSelect $4.99 retail and they charged me $17.89 which is 350% profit above retail. Labor was $10 which is reasonable. New Battery: The Interstate MTP 124-R 30 Month Warranty battery they wanted to charge me $185 when I can buy it Autozone $165 retail. I refused that price and told them that was $20 above retail they immediately dropped their price to $160 which is still profit for them. They charged me $59.75 labor to change the battery which takes all of 15 minutes. I give them a 2 stars because of their over priced parts and not informing me that they use Synthetic oil and assume that is what I want. It may be fine but they need to be aware of making their customers aware of what they are doing. Also, their office area is way too small and too many men walking around in the small office in what looks like mechanic clothes that are not dirty and they might be to 'top' heavy management wise' which is not a good sign. read more

This has to be one of the worst auto repair facilities I've used. The owner sits on his ass and insults his staff in front of everyone. Came in for oil change and was lied about why it cost $70. Then all they wanted to do us sell me on services that are so marked up it reaches the ridiculous. An air filter that runs around $15 was offered for $65. If you enjoy being ripped off this is a place for you. NEVER AGAIN. read more

I really like this shop. They are not a quick lube discount oil change place so obviously they have to charge more for their experience and it takes longer, but the prices are fair to me and the waiting area is nice compared to most places. I run a small service company so the most important thing to me is being able to fit me in when I need it. Killians has been able to get me back up and running and have been very professional. When my water pump went out and it was going to take longer then I could wait they let me borrow a vehicle until it was ready. The staff is polite and I've found the owner to be very nice and friendly to customers and staff. I've personally met about 10 customers that rave about this shop. And everyone who walks in seems like it's their favorite shop. I read another review on here and that's actually why I'm posting this. My first yelp review. I don't know anybody at this shop I'm not related to them and I'm not even going to tell them I left this review they certainly didn't ask me to or anything like that but I disagree with the way the other review explained this store and wanted anyone looking to have another viewpoint. I totally understand being on a tight budget and $70 or $100 can be a lot for an oil change but 1. That is exactly what the quick lube places are for. 2. Service and experience do matter and availability matters too. 3. I can't afford for my work van to break down so it's worth it to me to keep it maintained somewhere I trust. Hope it helps! I took my car to Killian on the recommendation of an auto part store after getting parts to fix an overheating problem and to install a new battery. After waiting some time the mechanic came in and took the owner into the bathroom. When they came out the owner came out and said it was going to cost more money than the car was worth to repair it. He did not charge me for the batter and handed me my keys. So I drove the car home and barely made it because all the water leaked out of the engine from a damaged water pump system that was leaking all the water out. This was not happening before I took it there. I was without a car until I was able to find a replacement. read more

My family has been using Killian Auto Pros for several years now with all our four vehicles. It sure is nice to find a mechanic you can trust. Steve Killian, the owner, always treats my family with respect, especially my daughters who are all fairly new drivers and car owners. I feel that I can send my daughters there knowing that Killian will not try to oversell them on anything. I do understand that upselling is a part of business, but if you decline, it's no big deal. I had a great experience here today! My husband's truck needed some work, so I switched cars with him while he was at work and brought it here. The staff here are SO friendly! They make you feel right at home! You can tell that they are very family oriented, and they do good and fair business. You don't find that too often anymore. The prices are very fair, and as a woman who doesn't know too much about cars, it's very nice to get such great customer service (because sadly, there are still a lot of auto shops that don't have much patience with gals like me lol). I live all the way in Woodruff, but I'll definitely be coming back here for any of my husband's or my auto needs! 10/10 highly recommend! read more
