I saved hundreds by not going to the dealership and who knows what mechanic I would have had there. I found this place because I have an aftermarket warranty and I took the time to read the fine print stating that I needed to get services done from an ASE certified mechanic. I am sure if I didn't read that and I needed to fix a problem, it would have been the excuse of the warranty company to deny any claims. I thought most repair places were ASE certified. After talking to several on the phone, I found out that was not the case. I did a quick google search and Lakeview automotive came up as one of the only service/repair places around with that designated certification and a blue label certification at that. I am not exactly sure what that means but I know for me, it was peace of mind. Knowing that the shop and mechanics have gone thru extensive training, have all the tools/devices they need, and continue to get training in all aspects of their business. This professionalism was demonstrated early on when I first called and spoke to Karen, asking all my questions. I also spoke to the shop manager Phill who took the time to put me at ease about bringing my car in vs going to the dealership. When I arrived for my appt, Karen greeted me with a warm hello and Phill came out to introduce himself. I was taken back to the service bay to look underneath my vehicle and met mechanic James who was also very nice and accommodating. I knew my car was in good hands with someone who actually cared about the work they performed, even if it was just an oil change. I would have said a "simple" oil change, but that's not the case w a Jaguar, it's a lot more involved. When the service was done, I received an email with a thorough inspection report with pictures and items that were completed and items that would need future attention. Not once did I feel any type of upsell. It is comforting to know that I am not going to be told something isn't true or need a service that I don't. Bravo, you guys are A++++ in my book and will get all my future car needs. Thank you Lakeview Automotive and all the staff working there. Keep up the good work. If you are looking for a place for your vehicle, you will be doing yourself a disservice by not contacting this business. Give them a chance, I think you will be impressed.

I purchased ALL PARTS NEED EVEN 2gal CONCENTRATED ANTI FREEZE for water pump & thermostat replacement. I should have called the police. I didn't because my son said he was ok & did won't my son to be angry. I told them to put all of old parts on the floor @ passenger front seat & they didn't. I trusted them because of my son & thought I could work things out with them but when I tried to talk to Zen he had a really nasty attitude at the start of the conversation very after I told him we didn't come to argue. I was disappointed because I had plan to use this shop for towing & auto service for both of my cars & had even referred 2 others. Thank god they didn't go. Zen & his wife were friendly at start. Zen even accused me of trying to get charity work but I messaged him multiple times & asked him for the price for both parts to be replaced on my car but he never replied with the full amount. I didn't asked for any type of charity work nor save me money. I only wanted my vehicle repaired so I could drive it with a peace of mine & not have to drive with the AC on to keep it from overheating. He may have done great work for others but I didn't get that in my opinion. I wouldn't give them not even 1 star.
