The octopus was not cleaned properly but the texture was spot on and the taste was great, I added some of my own hot sauce on the side to give it some kick. The fifth person, who did not eat oysters, remained completely fine. We informed the restaurant promptly and submitted a complaint through the official Portuguese Livro de Reclamações. While the restaurant initially engaged, they denied any connection, requested medical documentation, and ultimately just stopped responding altogether... The whole experience resulted in our entire household being affected all at the same time, causing significant distress and two full days of missed work and school. Our elderly family friend got quite sick, used to be a regular customer there, he didn't even get an apology. We made repeated attempts to resolve the situation amicably and provided supporting documentation of the impact, but no resolution was ever offered (our total bill was approximately €380). Extremely disappointing, recommend to AVOID.
