Contacting the restaurant was a little difficult but I eventually was able to get a hold of somebody. Despite that the ordering process went smoothly. Delivery was very delayed. I contacted the restuarant to see what the status was on my order. The person at the front desk stated that delivery person came to my place of residence and called upon arrival. I confirmed that I didn't recieve the phone call or any missed calls. Turned out the phone number was incorrect even though I confirmed my number when ordering several times. human error, I get it. No big deal. I was then asked if I still wanted the meal. I stated yes due to having guests over that evening. They confirmed that the order would be redelivered. The transaction went fine and the delivery guy was tipped, as always. Turned out the guy I was speaking to was the delivery driver. I thought nothing of it. Maybe the delivery guy was elsewhere and couldn't get it out fast enough. Moving along, I opened the containers and the food was burned. So much for being patient. I called the restaurant to see if the matter could be resolved. The " delivery guy " picked up. I recognized the voice. I told him about the mishap with the order. He then proceeded to tell me that he knew the food was subpar but it could possibly still be edible. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. Who knowingly sends out defective food???? I stated that I wanted a full refund. He then started to whine about it and stated that he would give it to me tommorow. I've never heard of such a thing when it came to restaurants and refunds. Any refund I recieved from such establishment was recieved the same day. He was very close by but kept giving me excuses. Eventually he agreed to give me a FULL REFUND in CASH that same night and to meet him outside in a few minutes. Okay, done. He called me and told me that he was downstairs. I met up with him, thanked him for coming out to give me a full refund. He then proceeded to interrogate me and tell me that I was only getting money back for 1 item. I told him that he was breaking the agreement of the full refund as promised during our phone conversation. He proceeded to confront me and tell me that I wasn't getting my money back and sped off. I called the number that he originally called me from. He then proceeded to verbally assault and berate me in a horrible manner. He even called me back from a private number after I hung up him the first time. He continued to disrespect and insult me even to the point of stereotyping typing and making racist comments towards my skin colour and financial status, despite he also being a person of colour. He refused to give me the full refund despite agreeing to it and demanded that I return the food the next business day to get a full refund. I've never heard of such a thing.Honestly, as a loyal customer with all of the previous owners up until now. I can truly say that this had been the most dreadful, racist, discriminating and deceptive experience that I have ever had with a restaurant. It is highly disappointing to permanently end my business with them, it used to be such a nice restaurant. It is a shame that it has now become below unsatisfactory due to the ignorance, dishonesty and disrespect displayed by the " delivery guy ". Treat your customers better or move along. Be well.

The sticky rice wrapped in bamboo leaves were smaller than expected, but each order comes with two, so it wasn't too bad. Tam (along with her husband, parents, and sons) runs the stand like a well-oiled-machine, cooking up her Vietnamese delights, offering samples, and selling her products like gangbusters. You can purchase spring rolls, petit pies, sticky rice, satay all to eat right away at the market; or you can buy her delicious products frozen to heat up and serve at home. We usually make a lunch of her sticky rice and her wonderful shrimp or tofu garden rolls. Most of the food Tam creates is vegan and/or gluten free! Husband and I *love* her spring rolls and her curry puffs. We usually buy half a dozen boxes of her frozen apps to take home to the cabin -- the bonus is that (as well as in the oven) you can cook those bad boys on the grill! We also adore her homemade Asian sauces, too, and always stock up with enough jars to last us the entire year! Her garlic plum blows any duck sauce clear out of the water, and the spicy garlic plum packs a wonderful heat and fire that complements whatever it garnishes. Her peanut satay sauce is insanely good, too. They also have a points system if you a regular, not just the savings you get but also you get some $$ off your bill based. Overall its a very good indian grocery store compared to many in sauga.
