Original corn dog and half sausage/ cheese. We will try the potato one next time
    Betty L.

We tried the corn dogs recently and they are so delicious and perfectly cooked: juicy sausage, melty cheese, crispy breading. The sauces are fun to squiggle on. It takes a few minutes to make them so I recommend ordering from the stall just before you line up to check out groceries. Finish it with some cold beer or calpis and mochi for dessert. Pat's is a great grocery store. The prices are average though some rice or bulk items are better priced. They carry premium asian and korean specialty items. The prepared foods, made in store or delivered daily, is consistently good: Japchae, gimbap, fried chicken, tteokbokki (spicy), injeolmi, steamed meat buns, pats kimchi, satsuma, etc. There is so much to try.

There are a few restaurants inside PAT supermarket.

Note: Review is for the Korean Restaurant INSIDE the grocery store. There's no English name, just a coupla Korean characters. 3.5-4*s I'm all for saving a few bucks with takeout, so I was exciting to try this place for PBS, Bibimbap and other Korean dishes that I cannot replicate at home. I've tried to make PBS a handful of times, but it always seems to involve soo many ingredients & labour intensive, plus it never quite turns out like the restaurants. For this food counter, you order/pay at the cashiers, get a receipt w/ order #, then wait for your order # to appear on the large tv screen. Menu was nice and BIG with photos, and the cashiers also have the menus there as well. To give you an idea, PBS at Owl of Minerva is $14.99 vs. $10.99 here. Of course, it isn't as concentrated or has as much meat, but it does the trick when you're craving this warm, Korean stew! Order was ready in a fairly timely manner - I'd say definitely within 10mins, less than 15mins. Grocery line seemed longer than wait time for food. Everything was packaged well and withstood the short trip back home. Bibimbap came with a fried egg on top! I couldn't finish the PBS, there was at least 2 portions. Everything was good. Again, the soup isn't as strong as Owl, but still good. A couple of banchans came with food, it was kimchi radish. A miso/beef soup came with the bibimbap. Overall, I think it's a good option ESPECIALLY if you're at this Korean grocery store anyway. They also have a Korean corndog place and a KFC as well which I haven't tried!

Drove out here on a fine rainy day when. I knew that trying Korean corn dogs would make my day a little better. After reading a previous review, I knew that Manna was located inside Pat Oriental food market. I made my way to the small booth at the back of the store (you have to go on the other side of the cash registers to access it). I purchased the variety pack which was five corndogs for $20 and waited 10 minutes for them to be prepared. I really enjoyed walking around the store to see what kind of different items they have whether it was utensils for the kitchen or frozen wonton wrappers I was excited to see what they had to offer. When I picked up the corn dogs I was able to add my own sauces everything between teriyaki to honey garlic to spicy mayo. I took it home and was able to try each of them! My favourite was the spicy hotdog and the regular Potato with cheese inside. My only recommendation for this business would be to send a colour-coded card with the items as it was difficult to tell what was inside each corn dog once I got them home.

It was good, wait wasnt bad but we had to wait outside and go back in after 15 minutes to ask if our order was ready. I ordered their combo A, which I believe was the meat sausages for $15 and a half/half one and it totalled to about $22 altogether. This is a great price and it comes with the toppings and youre able to add toppings to others if you want to. The sauces and toppings werent filled and there was nobody there to tell as I went at closing time. It would have been nice to get the toppings and sauces i wanted. I like that I can do it myself and they provide hand sanitizer before you sauce your corndogs. Lastly, the reason Im giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because the hotdogs werent really even. They were all different sizes. And the half/half corndog was hard to distinguish and there wasnt a lot of hotdog in there either. it was mostly cheese and batter.

Kid you not, Mississauga continues to surprise me with its hidden gems such as this spot called "MANNA" Located inside PAT Supermarket/Korean Supermarket along Dundas St & Cawthra Rd. Korean corndogs/hotdogs are very hyped nowadays and there's no waaaaay I'm gonna line up elsewhere just to wait for long time to grab these. Good thing, we found just the spot in Mississauga. Priced decently, too! 5corndogs for $20 ($22tax including). How can you beat that?!? You get to have fillings of your choice, too! Had a little bit of trouble with communicating with the staff-- but ended up just having whatever they suggested and honestly we were open to trying out anything and it went great! Perfect snack. Would have it once in awhile!

I love coming here whenever I'm in the area. In my opinion, this is the best Korean supermarket in the GTA. The variety of products offered here is very large and items you need are almost always in stock (I mention almost because of today's supply chain issues, but that's not the supermarket's fault). Prices are also reasonable when you consider you're in the GTA. The interior is quite clean and the dine-in/takeout food options within the food court they have here are plenty as well, and of pretty good quality too! It can get crowded in here but again, that's the GTA for you. You'd be crazy to think this place would be empty in the heart of Mississauga! Each visit continues to impress me and I always leave feeling satisfied. This place is going to be my go to place and I expect it to stay that way for a long time whenever I make the 2 hour drive from where I live for any reason.

I have been coming to this store for a long time but this visit was the first time I have been since their renovation. This store has been completely revamped and it's in a better position to compete with the other Korean Grocery stores like Galleria and HMart. Here in the west end, the PAT has a larger square footage than the Galleria in Oakville. Also, I'm not aware that there are HMart location west of Toronto. The store has all of the necessary groceries, vegetables and meats along with their frozen food. They also have kitchen and beauty products along with their prepared food items. The best part is that they added more of the food stalls selling baked goods, Hot foods and pastries. Before the renovation they only had the Sushi place and the bakery. They still have the Amore cosmetics store along with the clothing too. This is the best Korean Grocery store in the West End. For the Toronto people, it might be a bit lacking but this is better than driving over an hour to the York Mills or Steele's Galleria locations. #12 of 2019

    Combo B

Ordered at the store itself Crispy, paired really well with the sauces Portion : big! Get you filled for a while Price : $20 What I got : Combo B (customizable, check out the menu)

2 original hot dogs, 3 half cheese&hot dog with sweet potato (left) potato (middle) and ramen (right)
    Jacquelynne N.

This review is strictly for the Manna shop inside the supermarket. Went to try their Korean style corn dogs and they were amazing. Alot cheaper than going to KoreaTown. I got their Combo B which included 2 original hot dogs and 3 half cheese & half hot dog = 5 corn dogs for $19.99+ tax. I was able to choose which type of hot dog AND I was given 3 different toppings: potato, sweet potato, ramen. You self serve your own sauces. This took 10 mins to make. (I do not recommend the ramen, it was very hard and crunchy to eat. If you like that..go for it).

CHEAT or DIET?:…read more CHEAAATTTT Ok I'd like to foreword that I'm only reviewing the pistachio cake from Highland Farms. Now let me tell you about this cake. Is it moist? Yes. Is sweet? Absurdly yes. Is it worth it? If it fits in your macros, then yes. This cake is delicious and cheap. I ain't gunna lie. It's like if Wonderful Pistachios married a twinkie. This cake was $28 + tax. Definitely great for parties and not for eating yourself . it's definitely on the sweeter side, so I wouldn't share with your Asian moms. They're going to complain it's too sweet. But overall pretty good if you're bulking or don't care about calories. Shoutout to the cake people. Their service is great and nice, and they even decorate the cake box with ribbons. The cashiers leave much to be desired, but I guess this isn't Costco lol. Ambiance feels like a European grocery store at the size of a warehouse store. Deli had hot food and cold salads but no protein based salads. Ended up getting a small premade pasta salad, a trio of hummus, and prepackaged grilled chicken breast strips. Nothing was great. Looks like they have a plentiful produce section and a bakery. Aside from that, less than optimal grocery store. I would not recommend stopping here if you shop at other places. If this is your usual spot, you already know what's good/bad about it. Bring your own bag or buy one when you check out. Bathrooms are near checkout, they're decent. Plenty of parking on both sides of the store.

They offer very delicious shawarma that is one of the best in Ontario. One of the perks of this location is that they bake pita breads on the facility and you can buy them fresh. I have been here many times and never have been disappointed. There are also lots of parking spots available.

Review for only the bakery section, not the grocery department…read more I gave the Adonis baked goods section a try as they had a wide selection of cookies, full sized cakes, and treats, and I love pistachio flavoured sweets, which they had lots of. Since it was right after the holidays they had small and medium gift packages of cookies, and cookies individually are priced by weight, though there was frequent lack of signage to tell what the cookies were or what they cost. I opted to try some cake slices prior to getting a whole cake of the same flavour. I got the pistachio swiss roll and pistachio cake slice, and the staff had mentioned the rectangular cake slice would taste more strongly of pistachio. I tried both at home and the swiss roll has a stronger pistachio taste, both were kind of weak tasting, but that is not the issue at hand. Both the cake and swiss roll were tough and stale, to the point where grocery store frozen cake tastes better. Even those $5 or $6 vanilla cakes at Walmart are not this hard. The cream, the sponge cake, all of it was old and rubbery. Save yourself the pain and get cake somewhere else. I felt like I was eating fake wax food instead of real cake. I'm really disappointed as their bakery section is huge and seemed to have a lot to offer, but I've been burned and am reluctant to try their other sweets.

I needed to pick up a few grocery items, so dropping by Food World Supermarket afterwards was perfect. This building used to Rose Garden Banquet and Convention. I'm guessing that due to the pandemic, this business suffered and shut down. There is plenty of parking in front and around this supermarket. I backed into a spot and walked in. The doors automatically open, which is wonderful. This supermarket is located across from Burger King. I often frequent it when I crave a flame-broiled burger. Both are in the same plaza as Wok of Asia. It's clean and cheerful when you first walk in. You see cases of pop and sparking water. The produce section then greets you. I needed avocados and celery. Prices are either comparable to what you see at grocery stores like No Frills, but the quality is better. Both produce items that I grabbed were fresh and in great condition. This grocery store carries halal items. It features a lot of South Asian products, such as Parle-G and paratha. You also see ramen and Ribena, both of which made me love shopping at this store even more. I saw everything from custard to paneer. It does sell corned beef in cans and rose water in glass bottles. Cool! The meat section is impressive. It's huge with every cut of meat that you can possibly think of. You can get food to go. There's a stall within the supermarket where you can get pizza, shawarma, and more. I paid for my produce. The woman at the checkout was extremely pleasant and nice. I paid with my debit card. This store gives you a plastic bag. I thanked her and headed to the exit. Just before you exit, there's a stall that sells desserts, ice cream, drinks, and more. I asked the woman behind the counter whether their drinks have added sugar. They don't. The store goes with the natural sweetness of their fruit or veggies. I wanted to get the sugar cane and coconut hydrating beverage. She had run out of coconut, so I got a large sugar cane drink. As she made my drink, I looked at the desserts display. There were individual portions of chocolate mousse cake and sponge cakes. You can also get milkshakes, ice cream, and more. She asked whether I wanted ice in my sugar cane drink. I said as much as the cup could fit the ice. It was perfect on a hot day. I asked the nice woman how long this supermarket has been open for. It opened on May 18th. I paid with my debit card. Done! I thanked the woman and left with my groceries and drink. The sugarcane was indeed the real deal. It was naturally sweet and yummy. I was happy with my drink. It was nice consuming it as I drove home. Whenever I was in the area to grab some dinner, there was never a supermarket close by to get a few grocery items. It's definitely more convenient now thanks to this Food World. (174)
