I think of it as a mini Costco for Korean produce and products. They sell huge bags of green onion, the size of the bag might be larger than pillows. Very fresh produce. Variety of tteot, kimchi, sauces, snacks, hair dye, masks, frozen food, etc. There are also BTS products. Check out the cheesecake and bakery sections for sure. Come earlier in the day to get the taiyakis freshly made (they were packaged but still warm by the time we tried them after lunch). There is also a food court for Korean food. I had no idea this place existed. This is my second time here in this store. My nose followed the path to some delicious snacks! TAIYAKI! 6 for $12 when I went out to buy these. It's a hidden gem run by one guy (or at least I think it's just him since he's been the only one I've seen the other time I came here). I enjoyed these custard Taiyaki. Red bean taiyaki isn't that good in my opinion, but custard is certainly the best one. These are always made fresh, on the spot. I would definitely come here again and buy more! read more

We ordered a selection of Korean corn dogs (spicy sausage, cheese sausage, cheese rice cake) and entrees (soondae gook, jaeyook bap, yoo gye jang) to share. We dined in the little food court seating area and were so pleasantly surprised by how good the food was! We felt like the food tasted on par or better than the food at most Korean restaurants in the area, yet offered more affordable prices. I especially loved the Korean corn dogs and the amazing selection of sauces they have available! The rice cake is so chewy, the cheese pull is so satisfying, and the outer crust is so crunchy yet soft. We ended up grabbing many different sauces on the side so we could dip them in a variety of them! Yum! The soups were also very good and super generous in terms of portion sizes. Given the fast food flare of this place, I'd rate it 5 stars for the value / incredible bang for the buck! read more

We tried the corn dogs recently and they are so delicious and perfectly cooked: juicy sausage, melty cheese, crispy breading. The sauces are fun to squiggle on. It takes a few minutes to make them so I recommend ordering from the stall just before you line up to check out groceries. Finish it with some cold beer or calpis and mochi for dessert. Pat's is a great grocery store. The prices are average though some rice or bulk items are better priced. They carry premium asian and korean specialty items. The prepared foods, made in store or delivered daily, is consistently good: Japchae, gimbap, fried chicken, tteokbokki (spicy), injeolmi, steamed meat buns, pats kimchi, satsuma, etc. There is so much to try. read more

There's no English name, just a coupla Korean characters. 3.5-4*s I'm all for saving a few bucks with takeout, so I was exciting to try this place for PBS, Bibimbap and other Korean dishes that I cannot replicate at home. I've tried to make PBS a handful of times, but it always seems to involve soo many ingredients & labour intensive, plus it never quite turns out like the restaurants. For this food counter, you order/pay at the cashiers, get a receipt w/ order #, then wait for your order # to appear on the large tv screen. Menu was nice and BIG with photos, and the cashiers also have the menus there as well. To give you an idea, PBS at Owl of Minerva is $14.99 vs. $10.99 here. Of course, it isn't as concentrated or has as much meat, but it does the trick when you're craving this warm, Korean stew! Order was ready in a fairly timely manner - I'd say definitely within 10mins, less than 15mins. Grocery line seemed longer than wait time for food. Everything was packaged well and withstood the short trip back home. Bibimbap came with a fried egg on top! I couldn't finish the PBS, there was at least 2 portions. Everything was good. Again, the soup isn't as strong as Owl, but still good. A couple of banchans came with food, it was kimchi radish. A miso/beef soup came with the bibimbap. Overall, I think it's a good option ESPECIALLY if you're at this Korean grocery store anyway. They also have a Korean corndog place and a KFC as well which I haven't tried! read more

Usually go to H Mart or other Asian markets to get some things & thought to check this place out since it was close by. I did enjoy that I was able to locate the items I needed but the layout of the store seemed kind of odd to me. Drove out here on a fine rainy day when. I knew that trying Korean corn dogs would make my day a little better. After reading a previous review, I knew that Manna was located inside Pat Oriental food market. I made my way to the small booth at the back of the store (you have to go on the other side of the cash registers to access it). I purchased the variety pack which was five corndogs for $20 and waited 10 minutes for them to be prepared. I really enjoyed walking around the store to see what kind of different items they have whether it was utensils for the kitchen or frozen wonton wrappers I was excited to see what they had to offer. When I picked up the corn dogs I was able to add my own sauces everything between teriyaki to honey garlic to spicy mayo. I took it home and was able to try each of them! My favourite was the spicy hotdog and the regular Potato with cheese inside. My only recommendation for this business would be to send a colour-coded card with the items as it was difficult to tell what was inside each corn dog once I got them home. read more

It was good, wait wasnt bad but we had to wait outside and go back in after 15 minutes to ask if our order was ready. I ordered their combo A, which I believe was the meat sausages for $15 and a half/half one and it totalled to about $22 altogether. This is a great price and it comes with the toppings and youre able to add toppings to others if you want to. The sauces and toppings werent filled and there was nobody there to tell as I went at closing time. It would have been nice to get the toppings and sauces i wanted. I like that I can do it myself and they provide hand sanitizer before you sauce your corndogs. Lastly, the reason Im giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because the hotdogs werent really even. They were all different sizes. And the half/half corndog was hard to distinguish and there wasnt a lot of hotdog in there either. it was mostly cheese and batter. read more

Kid you not, Mississauga continues to surprise me with its hidden gems such as this spot called "MANNA" Located inside PAT Supermarket/Korean Supermarket along Dundas St & Cawthra Rd. Korean corndogs/hotdogs are very hyped nowadays and there's no waaaaay I'm gonna line up elsewhere just to wait for long time to grab these. Good thing, we found just the spot in Mississauga. I love coming here whenever I'm in the area. In my opinion, this is the best Korean supermarket in the GTA. The variety of products offered here is very large and items you need are almost always in stock (I mention almost because of today's supply chain issues, but that's not the supermarket's fault). Prices are also reasonable when you consider you're in the GTA. The interior is quite clean and the dine-in/takeout food options within the food court they have here are plenty as well, and of pretty good quality too! It can get crowded in here but again, that's the GTA for you. You'd be crazy to think this place would be empty in the heart of Mississauga! Each visit continues to impress me and I always leave feeling satisfied. This place is going to be my go to place and I expect it to stay that way for a long time whenever I make the 2 hour drive from where I live for any reason. read more

I have been coming to this store for a long time but this visit was the first time I have been since their renovation. This store has been completely revamped and it's in a better position to compete with the other Korean Grocery stores like Galleria and HMart. Here in the west end, the PAT has a larger square footage than the Galleria in Oakville. Also, I'm not aware that there are HMart location west of Toronto. The store has all of the necessary groceries, vegetables and meats along with their frozen food. They also have kitchen and beauty products along with their prepared food items. The best part is that they added more of the food stalls selling baked goods, Hot foods and pastries. Before the renovation they only had the Sushi place and the bakery. They still have the Amore cosmetics store along with the clothing too. This is the best Korean Grocery store in the West End. For the Toronto people, it might be a bit lacking but this is better than driving over an hour to the York Mills or Steele's Galleria locations. #12 of 2019 read more

This review is strictly for the Manna shop inside the supermarket. Went to try their Korean style corn dogs and they were amazing. Alot cheaper than going to KoreaTown. I got their Combo B which included 2 original hot dogs and 3 half cheese & half hot dog = 5 corn dogs for $19.99+ tax. I was able to choose which type of hot dog AND I was given 3 different toppings: potato, sweet potato, ramen. You self serve your own sauces. This took 10 mins to make. (I do not recommend the ramen, it was very hard and crunchy to eat. If you like that..go for it). read more

First time going to a PAT supermarket. There is a lot of variety and you can easily find things that are on sale. It doesn't feel as homie as Galeria, but has good variety anyways. Wonderful Korean shopping experience. Lots of Japanese items as well ... things that I miss and crave ... like daifuku (with red bean) ... good selection of Shirakiku items and Korean items a-plenty. Spotless store, a few in-store fruit specials but what is truly incredible is the condiments' section - a staple for Korean cooking. They have prepared food as well - lots of 'twigim' (prepared fried items) as well as bindaettok (mung bean pancake). OMG. Just as you are ready to leave, Kevin's tayaki is waiting for you for your last caloric indulgence, filled either with custard (not my first choice) or sweet red bean ... need I say more?! We've been shopping at P.A.T. for many years. It's one of the few Korean markets in the area and carries a fairly extensive variety of goods. The store is fairly clean and bright. Cashiers are friendly, but most have limited English. They carry a good variety of kimchi, miso pastes, fresh and frozen meat, poultry and fish. They also have baked goods, frozen desserts and ice cream. There are a couple of small stores inside the store, one selling makeup and body care products and the other selling accessories. And there is also a small section with housewares and Japanese/Korean tableware. There are some ready-made foods like gimbap (seaweed rice triangles), some sushi and some glutinous rice desserts. There is at least one aisle filled with roasted seaweed and other snacks and a huge variety of ramen and other noodle soups. They also have a fresh vegetable and fruit section, where you can often find seasonal Ontario vegetables such as garlic scapes, ramps and Ontario garlic for a great price. The inside of the store has changed many times over the years that we've been shopping there, but it remains our go-to store for Korean and Japanese goods. read more

I went to Manna yesterday with my friend. I got a sausage corndog and cheese corndog with potato on both and my friend got the same with ramen on both. They were HUGE! Our eyes were bigger than our stomachs. The food it's was a 4, it was pretty good but once you take a couple of bites of them you're overwhelmed with how oily and salty it is. I say just go for the half cheese half sausage one. The other reason for another start off was because all the people before us and after us got a dolgona candy with their order but the lady working there did not give us one. We were also non-Asian so I don't know if that is a factor that had to do with that but I didn't like feeling executed like that. And our order cost more or just a much as other people order from their so we know that was not the reason why. All in all, it's okay to go there once for the hype. read more

I used to come to this place every single day when I lived closer to it. They have been doing a lot of renovations and I see that the store has expanded quiet a lot! I used to come here only for their ice-creams and snacks! However, after the renovations, I see that they don't have as many unique selections as they did :( The ice-cream selection isn't as good as it was and the snacks are just like any other Korean stores (they used to offer ones that you can't find anywhere) However, their fresh produce is pretty good and their service is excellent! read more

A very nice Korean and Japanese grocery market located near Mississauga Dragon's Gate (Mississauga Chinatown). It's a pretty small market so they're missing a few things. They have a great selection of Korean BBQ and instant noodles. Also, the gimbap here is really good too, especially the Pepper variety. I think the cashiers think I'm Korean (I'm Viet) as they always address me in Korean but as a huge fan of KPOP and KDRAMAS, I trieddd replying :P Anyways a great place to go if you're looking for Korean BBQ to entertain guests at home or just want a grab of delicious gimbap. read more

I have been coming to PAT stores since I was just a wee tot and not surprisingly I carry on the Tradition. My faves to buy at PAT's: instant noodles in bulk packs, frozen Mandu, Banchan (the ones I won't make or what my Mommy gives me on a weekly basis- lol), Gimbap, Fishy Snacks, Korean snacky snacks, various array of dry noodles, and finally the pièce de ré·sis·tance - Fuji Apples. I can't seem to find better Fuji Apples anywhere else. Just like Cecilia M, my fams and I awaited the arrival of "Galleria", but to our dismay, The Galleria deal fell thru. Oh well, PAT shall live on. They surely would have went under if the Galleria had come to fruition. I admit that I would have jumped ship in a second too. Come on. Food court, Banchans for miles . For those who have never visited a Galleria, I can only describe it as a Walmart for Korean and Asian stuff. Sorry, back to PAT. Oh by the way, the awesome ladies that work the cash will speak Korean to you even if you are,, well,, not Korean. Lol. Store is not that big and they fill up as much space as they can. Pretty much a 1 way going down any aisle. Family has been coming here for years. Myself, I have started coming here recently. Mainly to get ribs for the bbq. About 8 pieces and costs about $25-30. Maybe a bit costly, but they are terrific. Along with the korean bbq sauce they sell, it turns out soo good. Not sure if anywhere else sells the same type an quality. I like the Kimchi they sell as well. And usually pick up some kind of kids drink/snack for the kids. This is a great Korean/Japanese grocery store. They carry alot of the Korean ingredients that I can't find in places like T&T or BTrust. They recently renovated the outside and it looks like they reconfigured the inside too. It now has a Kevin's Taiyaki shop right by the cash!! This alone is worth the trip to PAT!! Small but good selection of asian fresh vegetables and fruit, a fresh meat section, banchan section, ready made foods that you can heat up at home at the back of the store as well as some take out items up front, and a nice freezer section of frozen dumplings and noodles. There's also sushi made fresh at the back of the store. It's not a huge store but it has everything you likely need. My go to place in Mississauga. This place reminds me of the Chinese grocery stores of the late 80's, early 90's. Low prices, good quality meat, no fuss and no frills. No bells and whistles like T&T, Oceans or B-Trust, but just grocery. For Korean food needs, they seem good. Lots of kimchi selection and their beef ribs looked amazing. Very well marbled.
