Local dive bar, normally good conversation with many regulars, cheap drinks, 3TVs two pool tables. Smoky but friendly.

Local bar that serves cheap drinks and casual pub food. Nothing great but a good local hangout. Pool tables available.

Try the homemade soups. Yum. But, remember, smoking is still allowed inside this bar. You will come out smelling of smoke

5 Points Grill & Pub - Crispy wings with an old bay dry rub & a variety of sauces for dipping. We loved the everything, honey mustard, and mild Buffalo sauces.

Early American taverns were the pulse of 18th-century life and licensed by the government, as are…read moremodern bars. Often, there were restrictions in place that would limit how much one could drink on a given day. In our modern day, the "pub" is a place in which the sole purpose is to have a drink, maybe eat a burger, possibly play some pool, and generally hang out with friends and/or acquaintances. Situated at the intersection of five roads in Mount Bethel, PA, seems fitting for this establishment, as my partner and I passed by numerous times on our way to visit family members and decided to stop here as first-timers for lunch. Five Points Grills and Pub is a small-town restaurant offering comfort food with happy hours, plus live music. Upon arrival inside at the bar, my partner, his family, and I were greeted by the staff and got a table immediately by the window at one of the dining areas. The interior was casual and inviting, with festive loud music being played throughout while watching several football games on their TVs at the bar. Outside dining is available, weather permitting. Their menu features two full pages with good options and a separate page of specials. We decided on two sets of 10 wings with 2 sauces out of 16 sauces, a grilled cheese sandwich, a grilled chicken sandwich, sweet potato fries, a Caesar salad, a house salad, and potato soup. The food was delicious and in very healthy portions. The service was quick and accurate. Our server, Olivia, was friendly and funny. If you are ever in PA, stop in and check this place out.

Clean, good food, friendly staff! We really enjoyed our meal at this quaint tavern in the middle…read moreof nowhere!

The inside has dark colors, but brightened a bit by the sunlight coming through the outer wall windows. I liked the wooden barrel lights over the bar, barrel wall sconces by the booths and the small bikes made out of pipes with Edison bulbs in them that hang over the front tables. The interior had exposed brick on the outer wall, brown painted patterned ceiling tiles and a gorgeous long antique wooden bar. We sat in one of the cushioned booths in the back. Their menu is small and simple with about ten apps and six handhelds. They have some uncommon menu items that peaked our interest like Goat Birria Tacos, Sloppy Joe's and Mahi Sliders. My wife and son ordered the Sloppy Joe's at $8 that came with seasoned beef and their "House Sloppy Sauce". They both enjoyed them and said the seasoning was good and sauce had a bit of a sweetness. My youngest son had a plain chicken wrap $13 bacon, ranch, LT and Cheddar Jack. It was sizeable and fresh. We ended up splitting it up later for an app before dinner so its shareable if you have a smaller stomach. Kyle recommended their Smash Burger - Smashed Crispy Beef Patty, Cheese, LTO $13. It was average and there was nothing bad to say about it. I enjoyed a Mosier's Mosaic IPA by ShawneeCraft with it. They have a small house cocktail list and their tap list is small, but they do have some craft offerings and cans/bottles. The kids watched sports on a couple of the several TV's around the bar and we had a nice relaxing lunch. I'd stop in again if in the area. Thanks Kyle!

The nachos were such a hearty app, I'm not sure how anyone can eat anything after that, so that was also a bonus.

We found this place because I was looking for somewhere I could get a beer and walk out and around the town of Jim Thorpe (I believe they allow it here). But ended up staying for the vibes and plus we were super hungry. I wish I remembered our waitresses name but I believe she had pink in her hair. She allowed me and my girlfriend to sample some beers that she thought we would like because we were hesitant and what to order. We got the sangria sour beer and the white ale which were perfect for us. We also saw online that everyone loved the smash burger so we had to try it. We added truffle fries for 3 dollars which was so worth it. Some of the best fries we have ever had. Also I think we decided it was the best smash burger we have ever had. We both have never tried bacon jam and we were a bit hesitant about the pimento cheese as well. I think my favorite moment from this trip was sitting at the bar here and eating this meal. Plus the burger lived up to the hype. Thank you to the waitress we had you made our day!
