The weather was perfect so my family and I decided to sit outside and enjoy the people watching as we ate and drank. The server was attentive and did an amazing job making sure we had everything we needed. I was upset excited to see they had my favorite adult beverage, and my daughter was equally excited to see they had delicious mocktails! This was a fun experience for us, and would do it again. My daughter got the shepherds pie, I shared fish and chips with my partner, and all was great! The shepherds pie was very, very flavorful. I typically cannot do fried foods, but it was all good. I suffered later, but not because of this place. lol. My partner loved the Guinness and they mixed a beverage for him as well and he loved that, too! So much fun!

Don't let the long line getting into O'Neils during peak season steer you away. Some of the best service we ever received while in Salem was at O'Neils. Our server Jayden B was extremely kind, helpful, reliable, and patient.

We were SO lucky to find this place while visiting Salem during Halloween weekend ! The service was great, and we were seated quickly despite it being pretty busy. A reason for this is the Irish band that was playing, really setting the mood for the evening. Most importantly, the food was INCREDIBLE !!! The Irish nachos were AMAZING ! Very cheesy and meaty, and the fries were perfect. The pretzel was so soft and completed the perfect pub experience. 10/10 !

When we walked in we got a table for 11. Right off the bat I asked for a truly drink and asked for the flavors and the server gave me attitude about being too much work. We payed and left right away. We didn't even order food as our experience was terrible. However the ambiance is really good with cool irish decorations.

Had a great time here on our first visit from Texas to Salem for Halloween 2023. The atmosphere was right on and the drinks were awesome! Slainte Y'all! P.S. Try the Shepherds Pie!

Walked in no wait or line with plenty of open tables. Hostess had us go back outside to start a new line. Within five minutes called us in. My guess is to make others think it's a hard place to get into as many of the restaurants really do need the line outside at this time of year. Ordered a pretzel and the beef stew. The mustard for the pretzel had bubbles in it as it sat untouched on our plate. The cheese sauce is just canned nacho sauce, highly unexpected coming from an Irish pub. The stew was alright definitely not worth the 'long wait' we had for our table. Yes that's sarcasm. Do yourself a favor and actually wait for a restaurant that deserves the wait. All I could think of is John taffer should make a visit here. However I suppose they make a killing and only survive while all the tourists are here. There's no way locals come here to eat.

Food is good and not too expensive. Various whiskeys available, nice enough barstaff.

On our first night in Salem, my friends and I chose this place for dinner, and we were immediately glad we did. Every dish tasted homemade and full of flavor, and the service, especially from our server Elisha, was warm, attentive, and personable. We started with the charred broccoli mac & cheese, which arrived piping hot and baked to perfection. Every bite was rich, creamy, and delicious. Honestly, it's up there with the best mac & cheeses I've ever had. For entrées, we shared the shepherds pie and the steak tips. The shepherds pie, made with a hearty mix of lamb, beef, peas, carrots, house mashed, and cheddar cheese, was fresh and perfectly balanced. The steak tips were cooked to our liking, tender, and seasoned beautifully. Both dishes were comforting and satisfying. Olde Main Street Pub delivered exactly what we were hoping for: great food, genuine service, and a cozy atmosphere. I would definitely come back the next time I'm in Salem.
