When you first walk in, there's a dedicated reception area where a receptionist checks you in and offers you a drink while you pick out your color(s). When you're ready, your nail technician welcomes you back to a small, quiet, dimly lit area where they do your nails. It is a true spa-like experience here. The salon never feels too busy and there's not a lot of hustle and bustle or chatter going on. I've had several different nail technicians and they're all very friendly, take their time, and do a great job (especially with the massage). I've nearly fallen asleep every time I've been there. In September my nails began lifting from the nail bed. One even fell off. It's grown back a bit. Out of concern I went to the salon to get the gel fully removed to see what was underneath and I had a major infection across all my nails. The salon tech was concerned but the owner took one look and walked away. No concern. Nothing. I realize this is a risk when you have your nails done. But this salon didn't seem to really care. Which is really why I decided to do this review. The next appointment was there and I was rushed out. Beware. I like light nail colors and if they used my gel or polish on you, chances are you have it too. I'm on prescription medication now waiting for the rest of nails to fall off. I really wanted to like this place, but almost from the get go, I didn't. While they say walk-ins are welcome, I called to ask if they could squeeze me in for a pedicure in about 25 minutes. No. OK. How's that work for your walk-ins? But later this afternoon when it's not convenient for me? I should have taken a pass, but the location and good reviews made me think it would be worth my while to rearrange my schedule. The receptionist, while sweet and trying to be accommodating, called me "my dear" not once, not twice, but FOUR TIMES during our three minute conversation. Once might be stomached with a raised eyebrow but four times was just too much, my dear. I arrived to a friendly greeting and attentive service, including being offered a complimentary beverage. Sparkling wine, you say? Things were looking up. Then I tried to find a polish color that I liked. While they seemed to have a lot of options, I found that many of them were extremely similar and they didn't have either of my "go to" colors, or really anything near them. I took the suggestion of a passing employee and headed back to a darkened room with a set of nice spa pedicure chairs and an interesting and unique wood and light structure hanging from the ceiling for ambiance. Different. I liked it. The very loud and talkative group of women that were already occupying the space were super annoying. Understandably not the spa's fault, but when another customer comes in trying to enjoy some spa time, could you at least lower your voices? Guess not. Then there was the god awful noise coming from the adjacent manicure room: someone getting the old nails grinded off her fingertips. Absolutely nails on a chalkboard to me. They need a door between the two spaces in a bad way. Or maybe they had one and weren't using it? It was anything but relaxing to listen to that noise for far too long. Finally, the pedicure itself. The massage chair was nice but the multicolored light in the footbath shone directly into my face. It was dumb. The foot and leg massage from my pedicurist was very nice. Thankfully I noticed early on that the polish choice I had been talked into was just not for me. The pedicurist brought me a board with different options, I selected a new color and she went about her business. My nails looked fine when I was in the darkened back room, but I was bummed when I got into the bright sunlight to find that they were really poorly painted, with not even two full coats. Sloppy and just not well done. Sadly, I've never disliked a nearly $50 pedicure so much. Never again. read more

Staff is friendly, but the work was below average, attention to details is non existent, they did not remove the previous color completely from the corners of my nails and toes, polish application was terrible, gel was applied uneven on the nails and toes. The salon is dark so you can't really see, but Whatever I noticed, I mentioned it. I felt like I was telling them what to do the whole time. I made an appointment here for my best friends wedding. I thought it would be a nice idea to pamper her a few days before. This place seemed to be really nice. The reviews are great, and it looks like a higher end nail salon. However, this was the worst nail experience we both have ever had. My nails were painted very sloppily, and the towel that was used during my pedicure had blood on it. My friend wanted the "seashell" color which was a very light pink. Instead, the person used "cotton candy" which is a slight color changing purple polish. She now has 2 cuts on her fingers and toes. All right before her wedding... And our total ended up being $200. The entire salon is pretty dark so it was difficult to see any of these mistakes until after we paid and left. We ended up going to a different salon to fix it and paid less than half the price. They even customize they're lotions in house so we had a choice of lavender and citrus or pumpkin spice. We were completely impressed and THOROUGHLY enjoyed our pedis! My second time in was yesterday and I had my dip powder done. I have not been happy lately with the place I've been going. It has felt like a factory and like they're trying to get me out as quickly as possible which usually means I have nicks and cuts. I had THE BEST experience yesterday. The apt was longer than I'm used to but it's because of the attentiveness to detail! They offered hot tea and shoes me to a quiet dimly lit room. The music was soft, beautiful and relaxing. I appreciate that they will often "tag team" me and do both my manicures and my pedicures at the same time to save time. You need to request this in advance but they have always been accommodating. Because I joined as a member, for $150 month, I make sure to get at least 3 services a month, but often will get 4, so it is worth it. The wine, tea, soothing atmosphere are all bonuses. Our new tool sets waiting and flower petals floating in the water. The spa is extremely clean (plastic tub liners, one time use files etc...) and I felt very comfortable and safe there. We were offered something to drink, and they went to work on our feet. Super thorough, with attention to detail. The massage and hot rocks are spectacular! I've giving the third star because this place is clean and the nail techs are very kind. My daughter and I went to get our nails done today for a very special trip we have coming up. When I walked in they couldn't find my name so I told them I lived close and could come back if they needed Me to but they said it was ok and could take us.. I later realized that I had booked my appointment with the wrong nail salon so that was my mistake. I told them that I wanted to do two pedicures and manicures. As they got started on my daughter I noticed that they didn't do the normal, water in the tub, turn massage chair on stuff that they typically do when we get our nails done but I thought maybe they were just doing things differently so I didn't say anything. The lady got started on my nails (gel) and everything was good, I loved my nails and she massaged me and did everything you would normally get when getting a manicure. When she was done with me she moved me to the massage chair (my daughter was already done) but she didn't fill up the tub with water or anything, I thought that was odd but again, thought maybe they were switching up the routine so I didn't say anything. The lady then came over and painted my toes and by that time I was really feeling upset because I realized my daughter and I weren't going to be getting what I asked for which was a manicure and pedicure, we pretty much just went in and got our nails painted which was not what I specified we wanted when we walked in. I loved my nails and honestly everyone was REALLY nice and attentive so I feel bad even writing this but I really felt taken advantage of. I paid $101.00 for something that I could have just done at home. I would have gladly paid whatever to have my daughter and I get the full service. I did ask the guy at the front when I was checking out what I'm supposed to ask for if we want the water in the tub and massages and he then said "oh, just a pedicure" I feel like he realized I wasn't happy in that moment seeing as how I asked for that and that's not what we got and still paid a lot so he kind of stumbled over words and told me that we just got a polish change and would only charge $20.00 for my daughter. Honestly, I didn't care about the price we were going in to get our nails done for a special trip and wanted to splurge on a little girls date with my daughter so this was very disappointing. My daughters nails were ok, I feel like it was very rushed, one nail had to be re done and the sides of her nails had nail polish here and there on the sides. I do like this nail place and like I mentioned everyone was nice but I definitely feel like they told me they could take us when really they didn't have time and just rushed through our services which is very disappointing for many reasons and definitely upsetting to have paid what I did when we didn't get what we had asked for.
