This is my brothers favorite Irish pub in Kalamazoo. It's not far from his house and he frequents it on the regular. I am in town we always have to come here and get a pint. Do you know what kind of me. This has a really chilled and cozy feel. My brother knows a lot of the staff members and they are super friendly with everybody. This definitely has a local and neighborhood bar feel. It seem like everybody was a regular and came often. We never ate here, we always just drink, it was that kind of place.

O'Duffy's is a wonderful hidden gem that in located in the vine neighborhood. They have a very tiny parking lot, otherwise you can park right on the street. They have a small patio out front, and about 10 tables inside along with a nice size beautiful wooden bar. The cocktail menu they have is creative, and fresh. They also make their own tonic water which is delicious. I also highly recommend the Topolo Margarita, yumm! Last night I tried their sangria, which to me was very watery and not much wine flavor. I am not sure I will try this one again. We also tried the Goat Cheese Fritter appetizer. It was delicious, served with marinated kumquats and a half of loaf of warm crusty french bread. The downfall last night was that there was only 1 server for the all of the tables. It took a good 10 mins for her to cover over to us and another 10-15 minutes to get a drink. I would have been nice if one of the 2 bartenders behind the bar could have helped delivery drinks etc. They have a fun Irish duo singing and playing guitar. Which at times was loud, but they were great.

Went to dinner at O'Duffy's last night before the community Reading Together event at Chenery. It was nice to be able to park, and walk to both places. We sat at O'Duffy's but ordered from the Cosmo's menu. Draft beer variety was nice. Food was incredible! The wild mushroom and winter squash lasagna, bread with roasted garlic, garlic mashed potatoes, and penne with vodka sauce were all delicious. Nothing I could have changed to make th any better. Portions were large, so the prices felt worth it. To top it all off, they have to go boxes that aren't styrofoam! Yay!

My favorite pub/ bar of all time! Why you ask?? Reasons- #1- Molly #2-Jamie #3- no damn obnoxiously blaring televisions. Just great friendly people, neighbors & staff, building community one pint at a time. Bonus- the full Cosmos Cucina menu available in the pub.

Pretty good crowd on Tuesday night at O'Duffy's.

I've always liked O'Duffy's and after all these years it is still a favorite of mine. I like the atmosphere, the building with the exposed brick walls, the small patio outside, the peanuts, and the beautiful bar. It hasn't changed much and that's all right by me. We stopped by last night to listen to a jazz band. The music was good and so was the food & drinks. I had the gorgonzola burger, which had a nice peppercorn dressing on it, and D had the Chicago dog. Interesting that they offer carrot sticks or chips with their sandwiches.. Our server was very nice and kept an eye on us The parking can sometimes be a little tough, but we lucked out and snagged a spot in their small lot. We both agreed we had an enjoyable evening at O'Duffy's.

We were there for drinks, decided to have dinner, my margaritas were delicious, the service was great. My husband was there before with some friends, he said that he had a great lasagne, we decided to have dinner. I had the squash risotto, my husband had the spinach stuffed chicken, they had no flavor, we were really dissatisfied and disappointed. We will go back for drinks as they were really good. We also ordered a burger to go for our son.

Walking in the area is open and still in need of work but you can see they are working towards that currently. We reviewed the menu and learned that this was a Meadery at heart. We didn't know this previously but think it is great because there not many of them, let alone in Kalamazoo. We scanned through the tap list and picked out 4 to try and sat down. The owner was sitting at another table with someone that sounded like somewhat of an interview. After a little while he got up and came over to our table and asked if he could sit down with us and show us the vision for the brewery. We welcomed him to join us, we really love talking with beertenders and owners when they have passion in what they do. He had a book with photos of his vision which is going to be Viking based (the name makes that obvious) with some Thor inspiration. You could hear his passion and love for the brewery and what he does when talking about the things to come which made it that much better. Everything looked super cool and I can't wait to see it once completed. The owner shared his past history prior to the brewery which was in films and music, Ben couldn't have related more to this man if he tried. LOL. Be sure to stop in now to try their tasty meads and then once their renovations have been completed, we will be following them on social media to see their progress.

We were seated right away and our server was very attentive. We started with the cheese curds and some beers. The selection of beers was huge! Beers are reasonably priced and the curds were delicious. Wasn't a huge fan of the ranch, but the marinara was very flavorful. I got the small southwest nachos. It was still big enough for 2 meals. These were amazing! The queso is made from scratch and really elevates the dish. All other ingredients were fresh and delicious. My friend had the dill club sandwich and said it was great as well! Overall a fantastic experience. Would definitely return.

Our server brought over some free popcorn and we ordered drinks. They had some deals going on ($1.50 off New Belgium beers). There were plenty of TVs to watch and the vibe was pleasant. As it got busier, our server disappeared more, but we weren't in a hurry. We got the small order of southwest nachos for a snack to share - these were really good. I was kind of surprised at how small the order was honestly, but it was fine to split between the two of us. The chips were crispy, the toppings were plentiful, and I loved the cheesiness. Overall we had a good experience and I'd stop in again to catch a game.

Presentation - 8/10 Pretty standard presentation for the pizza nothing to out of the ordinary. Taste & Flavor - 8/10 The Meat-za had a good flavorful balance -The sauce could have been a little bit better, The cheese bread was great by far my favorite dish was probably the loaded fries they were well seasoned a perfect amount of cheese and a great amount of pulled pork. I will say my favorite part was probably their old fashioned it was very well prepared The flavors are a direct match and it was made correctly. Freshness- All of our food was freshly prepared and still warm when it came out to us- The drinks took a little bit longer but that's a given. Portion Size - 10/10 The appetizers we ordered were filling enough to where me and my husband only ate half of the pizza and took a little bit of everything home with us I would say it's well worth the price. Value for Money - 7/10 For the pizza it was 20 bucks The old fashioned I ordered was 11 which is a little bit more than most places charge in my area but the quality was good The cheese bread was a little expensive for the ingredients they used. The loaded fries were well worth their price. ‍ Service - 6/10 Our server was friendly however he was a little too friendly and got a little too close to us and made us feel a little uncomfortable he wasn't on top of things but it seemed he had a lot on his plate so I'll give him the benefit of the doubt. Overall Rating: 8/10 Final Verdict: I would go back here for the appetizers and drinks as a social gathering or as just a get together with friends they do have a good atmosphere and it seems like a lot of people come here to relax after work. Overall I would say it's a good place to come and try a good wood fired pizza.
