    2009 Subaru Forester They are straight about what the car…read moreneeds and cost, while straight about what isn't needed, to save the owner money! I really respect that. They work quickly and get the job done right. I've been here 3x. Bonus points for not talking down to or trying to BS women customers. (gotta love this) Cost to replace broken radiator & worn thermostat & new hose incl labor & 2 gal Subaru-specified antifreeze & tax, road test, drain system and vacuum test: $627. Free would be great but parts were almost $400. Parts were more than their labor

Danis had my mother's car a Chrysler PT Cruiser 2002 to just replace her car battery and that's was it, she already purchased a car battery and just need a garage to take the old one out and replace it with the new one, that was a short of simple job to do, for a professional mechanic, but when my half sister Crystal Landry called to see if he was done with my mother's Linda Landry's car he answered the phone calmly and then started to jump down my half-sisters throat screaming at her that he will not be fucking bossed around about his work and when to do it, and he was pretty slanders about it, and refused to work on my mothers car "NOW", all cause my half-sister Crystal Landry called and asked him if her car was done yet?? And it will take me about 15 minutes to pick her up to bring her over to pick up her car if it's done? My half-sister Crystal had her girlfriend listen on the phone as Ethan J. Danis was screaming at her over the phone and saying, "Fuck You" and I won't Work on your mother's car, you can come and pick it up and go some place else with it and have them do the job!!! And it was just a simple job for a "Professional" Auto-Mechanic if he was one in the first place, but by the looks of it he could not even do a simple break job on the car head of my mothers car, and in fact my mother called him her self after my half-sister called and she asked what was up, and why he refused to do the work on her car to replace the battery? He started "Yelling" and "Screaming" at her over the phone too and bashing her that because my half-sister Crystal Landry called him earlier to ask him if my mother's car was done yet, so she could bring her to come pick it up and fallow her home, because she has things to do tonight and get home early. He was also saying he was having a hard time working on the car before my mothers car and it was a break job and he was having a hard time at doing it, and he would not be able to get to her car yet and he does not want to be told what to do or when to "fucking" do it!! Neither my mother nor my half-sister Crystal Landry was speaking to him over the phone in any manner of to tell him how to do his job or when to do it, they was just asking if he was done replacing the battery yet, because he told them it be done with in an hour or so, the most as long as there was No complications during the job, then just about an Hour and Half the most. So, you see he gave them estimated time when to expect the battery replacement job be done. So, You and your daughter can come get your car its all charged up and you can come get it now!!! And he hanged up on my mother. (He just charged the old battery so it could startup, but he did not even do that, he just tore my mother's steering wheel cover off her steering wheel and left it that way.) So, Ethan J. Danis is Abusive Auto-machinic and not a good person to do business with at all!!! All he had to do was tell my mother or half-sister he can't get to her car yet; cause he's having trouble on another job he's doing and her's will just have to wait till tomorrow. And my mother and half-sister would accept that and would of understand that he's having troubles with another car, and she just have to wait till tomorrow for her battery replacement job to be done is all. But "NO" Ethan J. Danis Owner of Rotary Garage 383 Water Street, Augusta, ME 04330, was mean and Abusive and yelling at my mother Linda Landry and half-sister Crystal Landry. And he had my mother's vehicle overnight too, since 4:15 PM Est, October 19th, 2021, through to Wednesday October 20th, 2021, time 4:30 PM Est. When my mother got there to pick up her car, he was still inside in the garage working on someone else car and he was making a lot of noise too, and my mother just got her keys to her car and left with her car.

Charlie's has a number of dealerships so if Subaru is not your cup of tea and you're looking for a vehicle, I would check to see whether Charlie's sells that vehicle. Excellent customer service ! Plus, the family that own owns the dealership is very active in local philanthropy !! Win win !

No one listens and they are full of excuses for why not and not trying to solve the challenge at hand. I felt treated as if they were not interested to solve my problem but to take my money and never fix anything. I tried not to come back but I'm left with no choice. Yes this the second time if been to CMM for service. The fist time required many days of listenting to clueless service writer's. Finally after too many phone calls I located a manager with a clue. It was finally fixed. This time they are trying to upsell before fixing the problem. They will not give you an answer if you ask what would CMM response to someone else fixing the problem before they tried to upsell. I probably spent good money on a bad warranty product at a place with even worse customer service. I will get the problems fixed regardless if CMM does the right thing or it comes out of my pocket. Never recommend Charlies Motor Mall

They fixed the initial problem and even gave me a rental car when the repair was taking a longer than expected time. thank you Darlings!     I bought my car here; Signed up with your financing and paid it off with zero missed payments. I…read morehave taken it here for regular service and inspection since. I am about to trade in and buy a new vehicle as this one is getting to about 100K. In March, I brought by car in for an inspection. I also asked to have the cabin air filter changed, the oil changed and a basic multipoint inspection for any impending issues. After the initial state inspection, I was told that one of the rear brake lights wasn't working. I told them to fix it. I come pick up the car and move in with my life. In mid-August someone tells me that my car is way past it's inspection sticker date.... I call Darlings and say "someone forgot to put an inspection sticker on my car." Your agent looks up the job, notes that the inspection found the brake light problem. But, there was no corrective action on the invoice. I assure the agent that I told them to fix it and it never was. They schedule for me to drop off my car for ANOTHER inspection (cause it's been beyond the legal 30 days) at a super inconvenient time...although not as inconvenient as getting pulled over and getting a ticket. I am now told I have to pay hundreds of dollars for a ball joint and the brake light seemed to magically fix itself. I talked to three agents so far. All of them refuse to believe anything but the lack-of-information in the invoice. I assure them that I asked to have the brake light fixed when they called to inform me (pretty standard stuff). The only response I get is for them to re-explain the 30 day window for state inspections.... Each of your agents refuse to acknowledge that there was a mistake made. Each of your agents refuse to do ANYTHING about follow up other than explain the situation I'm in at the moment. In fact, I was told by two of them that THEY personally weren't involved in inspecting the car. So, they're not the ones to complain to....implying that I have to somehow chastise the individual mechanic or person I talked to in March for dropping the ball rather than just holding "Darlings" responsible. I'm not looking for a free ball joint. The inspection was free already because I bought the car there. So, I'm not even looking for a free inspection. But, I'm not even getting an apology. I'm getting "there's no way we can determine the truth of the matter from our paperwork and therefore we are neutral...not placing blame and not providing any customer service to alleviate." This is terrible customer service to a loyal customer. Within the next two years, I'll be replacing two vehicles. I NOT be buying them from Darlings. I will not be servicing my vehicles at Darlings. Everyone I hear mention the the word "car" will suddenly get a story of how unbelievably crappy an experience I had with Darlings. Maybe you don't care because I don't spend enough money. But, if you were an honest and fair shop, you should.

Today January 2, 2024 was an excellent day to upgrade to a 24 Crosstrek sports model with impressive technology!! The whole experience was showcased by the outstanding service from Mark! His warm welcome and ability to guide me through the benefits of new vs used helped tremendously! This is my 2nd Charlie's purchase and surely looking forward to recommending anyone looking for a family friendly approach to car buying!! Nice work Charlie's Team!!!

    Recently purchased a used Subaru at Charlie's. The sales…read morepers was new but seamed knowledgeable. We were handed off to the sales manage, this is where the deception started. After securing financing we were then handed off to the financial person. He had his own agenda, pushing the expense extended warranties. Keeping us distracted never discussed the price and deposit. Later we were bothered by this and looked over the paperwork. We found the window sticker that had never been applied to the car. It was $8000 more than the sales person told us. Actually it was the MSRP of this vehicle. When we went in to discuss this, we were told the sales person was no longer there. Also, the financial person was let go for his deceptive methods. When we asked about the difference in the price we were told used cars were often more. My research showed that the price we were told was the average for that car when we purchased it. NEVER, EVER Purchase a car from any of Charlie's franchises. I don't care how many free car washes I get it'll never make up for the money that I feel they stole from us.
