When you walk in there is a little spot to check in and then you walk into a larger room where everyone is receiving their massages. They do have some rooms off to the side if that is a concern of yours but they keep the shared space very quiet and relaxing. I will say my one concern for this storefront is accessibility. You do walk up a flight of stairs to enter and I am unsure if they have additional options for those who need it so I would call and ask if needed! They have never been anything but helpful to me.

They were able to get me in at my preferred time which was at 10:30am on a Monday. I was so happy that I was able to snag an opening. Usually you want to make sure that you call ahead and book an appointment in advance in order to secure your spot. Something to note is that I did notice that on their sign they crossed out the part where it says "walk-ins accepted." I asked for just a 30 minute reflexology massage. They noticed that I was pregnant and made sure that I was super comfortable and had everything I needed. They were able to sit the chair up so that I wasn't laying flat and provided me with extra pillows. This was super nice and made my experience way more enjoyable. The massage was fantastic and when it was over I was asked if I wanted to add extra time and I really wish I could have said yes but had to say no due to my limited timing. I will definitely be back soon! Pros: - clean facility - comfortable - accommodating - great massage Cons: - stairs to get to the building (assuming not handicap accessible?) - one time my masseuse clearly had just smoked a cigarette and then was the one who gave me my massage and I just smelled that the whole time everybody let's dance - sometimes when paying it can be awkward and a little intimidating

However, the owner let us enter the salt room earlier and get settled, even though it wasn't 1pm yet and the other couple still hadn't arrived. That was very nice of her. The chairs lean back, blankets are provided as well as noise cancelling headphones, which were drowning the salt generator white noise but still allowing us to listen to the spa music. The lights go off and the generator releases Himalayan salt particles into the air. I wasn't sure if I could tell the difference but I happened to lick my lips halfway through the session and I could taste the salt! It was so relaxing, I even fell asleep for a bit. Highly recommended.

I think my only critique is she spent a lot of time on my back and I wish she would have evened it out a bit to other parts of my body as well.

OMG! It was absolutely one of the best massages of my life…read more My wife and I travel a lot and she LOVES massages,, so after 26 years of marriage so do I. I was hurting after a week on airplanes, so as soon as I landed at BNA, I went straight to AA Foot Spa, with my luggage, based solely on their reviews. I also used Alice based on the reviews and I'm so grateful I did. I bet I've had 100+ massages, from airport chair massage, to shopping center foot massage, to Pebble Beach SPA, Bellagio, etc... Alice is a muscle whisperer. She was incredible, and not for $200+ an hour, but more like $70. If you're used to going to high-end bougie places, this is going to feel like theft as it's so affordable. It doesn't have all the amenities, but they do use a full size cover up, the bed is comfortable and the room feels about the same. However, if you've already mastered the art of the affordable Asian foot spa, then just know, she's been there over a decade, and she speak clear English. You can have an actual conversation and explain your pains. It's the best of both world's. NOTE: the area looks rough and the outside of the building seems sketchy. If it weren't for the reviews I never would have tried it, but I'm glad I did. Alice is incredible! She's a muscle and soreness whisperer who just inherently finds the pain and fixes it. I wasn't bruised after, was able to have her focus on specific areas, yet felt 100 times better. Could not recommend Alice and AA Foot Spa enough!

For…read morethe most part, if you have visited a similar massage place specializing in reflexology, then you have essentially visited LJY. Since moving to the NE part of Nashville, I have been looking for a massage spot to call my own. While walk-in places are great, I enjoy a good appointment and on the day that I was in need, LJY was had availability and the option to book online. It was mid-afternoon on a Friday, so I had the place to myself and the masseur was working alone for majority of our session. I went with the Combination B, which was 60 minute table and 30 minute foot. The massages were great, pressure was spot on and all the trouble areas were handled. My only gripe is that the masseuse had to leave the room and massage on several occasions due to lobby traffic. This took away from being able to fully disconnect and relax for a solid 90 minutes. Overall, I am undecided on my return. I enjoyed, but the mental part of a massage is just as important as the physical for me.

The C3 is what I usually get which covers the entire body from scalp to toes. They'll soak your feet in a basin(with plastic around it for sanitation).. so while you soak, they'll work on your forehead and scalp area using pressure points. (WHO doesn't love a scalp massage?!) After that, they'll take your feet out to dry and they'll massage each foot using pressure points as well. They'll work a little on both arms. Your tech should ask you while he's working on you if the pressure is OK or do you want a little more pressure. They'll have you flip facing down, and this is my fave since they work the stress off out your shoulders and underneath your shoulder blades. OMG! So good. Out of the year I've been going here, I've only received ONE bad massage (it was only bad bc it felt like it was done in a lazy way) Other then that, I love the peaceful environment and make sure to tip your tech well bc the prices on the massages are very AFFORDABLE! Best spot in town, and every tech is awesome! You won't be disappointed Xo!
