The Scarlet Vetter says...we went in search of a great burger in Dublin. Sooooo many choices. After…read morereading about a gazillion Yelp reviews, we decided on Bujo. Boasting the best of Irish beef and a "nothing but burgers" menu, we headed off to this iconic Dublin burger joint. It is surely no frills. Tucked in the wall, no elegance to speak of, BUT they are all about the burgers, for sure. I ordered the double cheeseburger with bacon (after all, if going for a cardiac arrest burger, you need to do it proud) and the crinkle cut Bujo fries. I asked for the three sauce selection and chose Siaracha Mayo, Burbon BBQ and the Roasted Garlic Aioli. I ordered a draft beer. IMHO, a burger without a beer in Ireland is sacrilegious. My husband, being the pagan he is, opted for a chocolate milkshake with oreo crumbs (what??) The joint has a condiments bar where you can add jalapeños, crispy onions and other such to your meal. It is self serve for ordering and you are given a table placard for the table to await a server who does bring your meal. The burgers were distinctly charbroiled and flavorful. The fries were.....well, meh.....the sauces definately added value to the fries. The sliced jalapeños were delicious, as were the sauces. I really enjoyed them. I would have given this place four stars for being in the keeping of what it is--a hole in the wall burger joint. However, for someone who is not price sensitive on food at all, I was a bit taken aback by the price. In USD, essentially $65 for two burgers, two decent drinks and 2 fries. That was with tip, but wilthout VAT. The table was sticky and the bathroom was dingy. So the 3 stars is about right. I would definately recommend this place for a good burger but be prepared to carry a loaded wallet and skip the drinks and sauces to keep it affordable.

We went inside when the small blond girl said "they are still close and will open for fee minutes." I was like its just 2mins before their opening. I have my kids drenched in the rain. How considerate and kind act. Never tried again after that. My father heart melts with pitty for my kids

This place is open now about two weeks. For us it's very welcome. Up to now the choices here were…read moremostly junk food: KFC, Subway, Burger King who all sell completely rubbish coffee and industrially made over priced, processed junk food. There's pretty good coffee from Starbucks & Costa who each sell over-priced pre packed factory made food, but this new place provides freshly made good food in comfy surroundings and there's darn good Italian coffee too. The key idea here is to pick or build your own sandwich or salad from various breads, greens like lettuce, spinach, kale, rocket, then proteins which I recognise as chicken, pork, salmon; oddly there's cheeses like halloumi and feta listed on the menu under protein when these contain more fat than protein. Then dozens of choices of vegetables from avocado to olives, edamame to pineapple and a selection of fresh dressings. We had mushroom soup (€4) with crusty bread and butter added (95c) which was delicious and an artic wrap (like a soft tortilla) at €5.95 with roast chicken, lettuce, tomato and some Parmesan dressing. Again very tasty indeed. Then a cappuccino and a flat white (about €3 each). The coffees tasted great too. So all in all the bill for two was €16.65. The wifi didn't work and it seems this is a teething problem. The service was friendly too. There's an environmental aspect here as the serviettes are recycled, and soups are served in eco friendly cardboard bowl.
