This place is open now about two weeks. For us it's very welcome. Up to now the choices here were…read moremostly junk food: KFC, Subway, Burger King who all sell completely rubbish coffee and industrially made over priced, processed junk food. There's pretty good coffee from Starbucks & Costa who each sell over-priced pre packed factory made food, but this new place provides freshly made good food in comfy surroundings and there's darn good Italian coffee too. The key idea here is to pick or build your own sandwich or salad from various breads, greens like lettuce, spinach, kale, rocket, then proteins which I recognise as chicken, pork, salmon; oddly there's cheeses like halloumi and feta listed on the menu under protein when these contain more fat than protein. Then dozens of choices of vegetables from avocado to olives, edamame to pineapple and a selection of fresh dressings. We had mushroom soup (€4) with crusty bread and butter added (95c) which was delicious and an artic wrap (like a soft tortilla) at €5.95 with roast chicken, lettuce, tomato and some Parmesan dressing. Again very tasty indeed. Then a cappuccino and a flat white (about €3 each). The coffees tasted great too. So all in all the bill for two was €16.65. The wifi didn't work and it seems this is a teething problem. The service was friendly too. There's an environmental aspect here as the serviettes are recycled, and soups are served in eco friendly cardboard bowl.

What an absolute find this place was! We were driving past on our way to Belfast and saw this spot…read moreon a couple apps. I'm always a bit nervous when places only have a handful of reviews, but we gave it a go and the go was got! Parking is a bear in this area. The delightful town of Swords or "S" words as Mr. Connery taught us years ago when SNL wasn't lame, is just off the highway and the main downtown drive had a good number of fun spots up and down it. We ended up in a parking lot behind it and that worked well. The space is pretty tight with seating for maybe 20, and a dozen more spots outside. We sat out there on a lovely crisp sunny morning. The food for us 5 came out quick. The scones were amazing, the Brooklyn wrap and Brisket egg sandwich were phenomenal and the stars of the show - the Turkish eggs and the Crispy chicken benny. Those last two were lick the plate good and are something we'd go for again! The tea selection was the least impressive thing here and was still solid enough for my best half who loves her teas! Coffee was also quite good. Excellent portions as we shared everything with 5 hungry peeps and still left with extra. This was truly a master class in breakfast! The area is lucky to have a spot like this. Get here early and sit outside if it's nice!

Well well well…read more Another vego-vegan-deli-bakery-salad-local-type establishment. It's great to see these little places pop up around Dublin. Not because it's vege (all hail meat eaters!), but because it's an easy alternative to sandwiches. Sandwiches. I'm so over sandwiches. So, the deal is this; - Self-service-wise, they've got cold salad and hot food bars, charged by the weight. These can range from anything from chickpea salad, to vege lasagna - They also have counter food with such delights as risotto balls or pizza squares - Whether you be vegan, vege, wheat-alergic, or whateve else, there is defo something here for everyone. (Except meat-eaters. There's nothing here for you!) - They also have fresh loaves of bread (I bought some soda bread yesterday for about 3 euros which was delish), and jars of random stuff like olives, sundried tomatoes, yada yada - Also, juices, teas, etc Don't let the 'earthliness' of this place fool ya now. The food is absolutely De-lish. Really tasty, really filling, and after you've finished eating, it gives you that "I've just eaten something super healthy" smugness that's hard to beat. Go there. Eat. Do it.
