Came to Dublin and a friend told me about this bubble waffle ice cream place so of course I had to go. I did have a bit of trouble finding it because the sign for the place is SO SMALL!! Spent maybe about 20 minutes walking around until I finally spotted it. I've added a picture so maybe it'll be easier for everyone who sees this. They have many different flavors for the bubble waffle but since I'm a chocolate person, I went with the chocolate dream. I would NEVER pay $10 American dollars for ice cream but this one is worth every penny! The waffle was made to order and I got to see him make the waffle and the rest of the cone. And when I say this thing is huge, it's HUGE!!!! Definitely got my $10 worth! Haha!! The taste......20 out of 10!! The waffle was so soft and fresh. The chocolate ice cream.....no words for how good it was. I'm not usually a fan of other flavors but this actually makes me wanna give the other ones a try. The place is primarily a waffle/crepe, milk tea, and desserts front, and we did had a good bowl of sweet milk with jelly and taro balls. But read carefully and you can see two stores in one place: Bubble Waffle Factory (for the sweets and milk tea) and Street Food Factory (for savory options). The street food menu consists of a small but signature menu of beef brisket, beef tripes, and wonton noodle soup. And as a Cantonese, I had to say the quality exceeded my expectations. The beef briskets and beef tripes were braised thoroughly, super tender, rich flavor of spices and seasoning, while the texture of respective parts remained spot-on. The broth base also had great flavor. Portion size was good for the price. For the wontons, they were a bit smaller than the ones I had in another Cantonese place, and they seemed to have small or no shrimp inside, but the intense flavor of minced pork and the bouncy texture suggested the stuffing was of great quality, and the wrap was thin enough to melt in the mouth while also resilient enough to keep the wonton intact. My only wish would be that the noodles would be less runny and bouncier. But overall, I was very satisfied with this place. read more

The bubble waffles here are addictive. I usually get the lollipop bubble waffle stick with strawberries and Nutella. Super addictive. €5.5. They gonna drinks however, were really disappointing. So if you go here, stick to what they do best, bubble waffles and you will enjoy it! read more

Cute place and fun conception on Temple bar area. It has bubble tea and also ice cream, the ice cream cones are made out of waffles. Pretty good ice cream, the portions are pretty shareable. read more

This place had out-the-door lines and a crowded interior, but the line moved quickly. I enjoyed my waffle -- the "cone" managed to stay delightfully crisp above where the ice cream melted and absorbed into it, so I was able to tear off segments and enjoy one bubble at a time. The ice cream was silky and nicely flavored (I got cookies & cream in mine) and I enjoyed the Kinder candy bar that came in it, as well as the chocolate sauce and whipped cream. Bubble waffles - whoo-hoo! Just the name says delicious! We saw people walking around with bubble waffles, saw the place, and knew we had to have them. We had a dinner booking so made sure that we finished up in time to get to the Bubble Waffle Factory before they closed at 10 pm (why is that a thing here when the sun is still out and there are tons of people walking the streets?). Anyway, we got to BWF and the place was great. The bubble waffle itself is a fresh, soft and chewy waffle, and they fill it with ice cream and all sorts of sweet goodness. With a crowd I thought the wait would be long, but they were super efficient and fast, and before we knew it we had our treats. I ordered the Peanut Glamour with vanilla ice cream. It was topped with peanut sauce, Nutella, crushed peanuts, and cream. So good!! I am a peanut butter freak, and this thing definitely hit the spot. Others had Berry Kiss, and the Mr. Oreo. Hits all around. Service was fast and pleasant, and the place itself was small but neat and interesting, with graffiti all over the walls, so you could read notes from folks all over the world. Quick things to note: - egg puff (bubble waffle) was hot and crispy even after I finished my ice cream - only an additional couple euro and you get ice cream with toppings (worth it than just the egg puff itself in my opinion) - workers are very friendly - quick and on the spot service. You get to see the process of making the bubble waffle! The place is shared with a bubble tea place, so it's pretty small and can get a little hot in there, but it's definitely a fun place to sit or grab a treat on the go. read more

I loved this place! It was one of my number 1 places to try out before I left Dublin and I'm glad I visited. The building itself could use some updating. I wished there was more seating inside, better lighting, etc. but the dessert itself was amazing. I ordered a chocolate ice cream with Nutella. Visiting from out of the country, was craving some good dessert, and saw this place on yelp. So, I decided to check it out. Walked 20 minutes from my hotel and arrived at the place at 9:45pm- online it shows they close at 10:00pm. I walked in and, to my dismay, they tell me they are closed. Wth!!!!! Confused, I look to my phone to confirm it listed 10pm as their closing time; it did. Maybe they had the wrong time listed online, I thought, so I asked what time do they close. One employee rudely replied, "we are closed!". I repeated my question a second time and mentioned they have 10pm listed. She replied, "We close at 10 but we are closed, we are sold out, we don't have anymore". I could clearly see they had enough of every flavor for several servings and just wanted to get out. I understand it was a bit late, especially for a Sunday, but the situation could have been handled better and they should have accurate hours of operation posted online. read more
