Living near by, the service department is convenient. My son enjoys the popcorn and soda while we wait. I enjoy being able to pull inside and have my tire pressure adjusted at no charge. In terms of sales, this is a dealership whose ultimate goal is profit, and understandably so. It is their job to make you feel you got the best deal possible. It is your job to make sure you actually get it. Always read what you sign and get your own loan, brining a check to the table if you have concerns. This is true of any dealer. My missing star is because when I was looking for a used vehicle (would have been my second purchase), I wasn't shown a number of vehicles on the lot that I was willing to purchase. Since the price of the one vehicle they chose to sell me was too high, I ultimately took my business elsewhere. read more

Hard pass on this place. The manager is your typical sleazeball car salesman stereotype. He will try to rip you off anywhere he thinks he can. I took a trip only to look at a car and have my current vehicle appraised. I made it abundantly clear I wasn't able to purchase at the time. I was still pushed into a test drive and brought to the sales desk. The Manager said my car was only worth $225, stating the transmission was slipping and the engine was misfiring. All of which is so completely and obviously untrue I could not believe it (I had also gotten it appraised elsewhere for 10x that). The car still has half its engine life left and has had it's transmission serviced at proper intervals. Then they pulled my credit after explicitly being told not too. Even after all that, they have the gall to say "I'm doing everything for you, why cant we make a deal?" Look elsewhere. read more

I bought a vehicle from O'Brien Mitsubishi in 2019 before it was downgraded to the Greenbriar location and the Palace of Genesis took its place. (In case you're wondering, Genesis is the jazzed version of Hyundai--but Genesis models are undergoing recalls for serious fuel pump problems and stalling, so its not all that jazzy after all.) The car I bought was right for me but the finance manager saw himself as a "Top Gun" figure who could out gun everyone. He sold me a service warranty under the claim that I wouldn't have to pay for it because, as he implied, it would be rolled into the loan. Not true, so I later went back to cancel the warranty. He was surly and sullen and was so angry he refused to give me a copy of the cancellation documents, and later I had to ask the general manager to provide them. I made it clear to the dealership that this was bad business and asked to have my removed from their email list. They said they would but this didn't happen, and I had to have a long email exchange with their junior online person. Eventually, they unsubscribed me after about a dozen emails. I also asked them to remove me from their postal advertising mailing list. A few weeks later, I got an advertisement from Ryan Gremore, the president of the O'Brien group, that was addressed to the Mitsubishi general manager and it went like this: "Hey Steven, do you know I can reach this customer? I want to buy his vehicle." That was unbelievably lame and juvenile, and I called the number provided for the general manager, only to find out he was "in a meeting" (three times!) and finally, a recording said the number was non-functioning. Just another slick move to evade responsibility while trying to make fast money from the public. I eventually made phone contact when the general manager saw a review I left and called to say that he was sorry for any "misunderstanding." I asked him to remove my name and address from their system and to never send me another advertisement by postal or email. He said they would do so, and I thought I would close the books on this slick, deceptive car dealership. A few weeks ago, another advertisement from O'Brien showed up in my mailbox. You have to admire this sort of incompetence because it shows a sort of moronic persistence. If a dealership can't get something this simple right, what are they going to do to your car? (Check Reddit commenters and you'll find out.) I've had the great pleasure in the past couple years of helping several people NOT buy a car from O'Brien. There are other places to buy a car. Make sure it's not O'Brien because they will upsell you, trick you, and then fake you out at every step of the way. There's a pattern here: be slick and use tricks, move inventory, and squeeze out as much as you can. Buyer, beware. O'Brien gets one star only because Yelp does not allow zero. read more

Horrible dealership! They give a price online that does not even exist. They are just trying to get you come in to the dealer and then they jack up the price by 10K or more. This is bad business! I will never go to this dealer again nor would I recommend you do either. Find somewhere else to buy your Outlander! read more

They gave us a quote to fix a car we bought there and did the work and called us and said it would be another $450 and that that may not even fix the problem. This dealer has a terrible reputation and rightfully so. I will never do business with them again. read more

2 years later, I revisit this dealer to look for a Mitsubishi. As it is the only Mitsubishi dealer in town and if you want a "brand new" Mitsubishi thats the place to go. No different than if you want a big mac you have to return to McDonalds even if you had an issue there. The car is good, I just had an issue with the sale. To my surprise I was actually confronted regarding this 2 year old review. I understand that prices fall and change all the time, however there are many many retailers that will honor a lower price for 1-3 months after you purchase, so that this kind of situation does not occur. Maybe not car dealers, but this would be unknown to me as I dont buy a new car every few weeks like I shop at Lowes or Best Buy. Now that thats out of the way I will say that it was pretty awkward to be confronted about a review two years later, but on the bright side I will admit that I find that the ambition and the care about that poor comment was still on their minds two years after it was written and that they were still thinking about it. I'm confused on why I wasnt reached out to a year a go (a year after I wrote the review, when they responded) but that doesnt matter now, it was enlightening to see that they still did care and wanted to try to make it right. I probably could have been confronted a little nicer, but I cant say I would have done it any different if I were on the other side of the table. As of this moment Ryan (the owner) has offered some things to make it better, maybe he was waiting till he saw me again to try to fix it, but I dont go walking through dealerships on a regular basis. When/if those things come through I'll be back here to update this again. I'll keep you posted. read more

I was looking to replace a used vehicle I'd gotten at another dealership, and from the moment I expressed interest online, Jay Miller at O'Brien Mitsubishi was in contact, and was more than willing to help me out. He was extremely patient with me through a couple of days' worth of test drives and a plethora of questions I had. I ended up buying a 2018 Outlander Sport SEL, and am very happy with the service I received from him and the other folks, from the test driving period to when I drove away in the new vehicle. I'm sure all of the other staff are great, but I can't say enough good things about Jay, as he was personable with a good sense of humor, and I felt like he went to bat for me as the process neared its end. A big thank you to him and to the rest of the staff! read more

Jay and the staff here are amazing! They made sure that we got the car we wanted and it could not have been a more pleasant experience!

The vehicle in itself are pretty reliable and run well. As for the dealership itself, they SUCK!!! In a span of 3 years I bought 4 vehicles from this place. The very last time I bought 2. Traded in 2 along with 1 other that was completely paid off. Got a decent rate too. Now for the sucky part. The dealer swindled in my paid off vehicle to get full profit. It wasn't applied to my sale for discount. Then 4 days later, yes 4, they said we had to come back and re-sign papers and got a slightly higher interest rate because there was an "error" that no one would fess up to. The thing was I already got pre-approved from the bank before I got there. Complained about it and nothing was done.Again, profit for them and more money for me. Then I went to have my vehicle serviced and got it back running oddly. Took it back and more of the same. Complained about it but nothing was done. Now for the cherry on top. We sold the vehicles in April of LAST YEAR. We have received a total of 28 calls in regards to the expired warranty SINCE we sold it. I tell each one to remove me from the list and then another one calls. I've attempted to speak to managers but these loser telemarketers hang up on me after my request! TODAY I finally got to speak to a telemarketing manager who finally gave me the info of to whom it was that handed out my info to the world of telemarketers. Of course it was O'brien Mitsubishi!!! So I called to speak to them and they just sent me to the service dept. He of course doesn't know what's going on. I'm so glad I traded my vehicles in for FORDS!!! My advice is dont buy from them but if you're really in love with the car then do NOT sign anything without looking it over 3 times. Get your own financing and make sure they use it. Don't go back to re-sign anything. Let them SUCK it! Go to a real mechanic not the jokers they employ. read more

They're okay, but they won't honor referral requests, e.g. our friend was promised a bonus for referring us to a specific salesman, but the sales guy never sent the money even though we asked multiple times over months. It was such an awkward situation we didn't even want to return when there was recall work needed (eventually we did). Also, it's the typical stressful car dealership hours-long haggling process over the price. Even after you get the price agreed upon, you get another round of sales pitches about the warranties during the financing paperwork. Next time we'll just buy our car off the internet. read more
