My family and I have been going to Bob Zook Autobody for years and we've used quite a few of their various services from autobody work to mechanical work. They're always friendly and ready to get to work. Their mechanic, Jake, is top-notch. Their body work, whether just the daily nicks and bumps a car gets to accidents, is beautiful, and their detailing is top quality. I've never had a problem with them, except the one time recently I wanted to pay in cash and they said they'd take it, but weren't set up to make change, so I relinquished the extra $0.87 as a tip. Very pleased with the repair work done on my 2010 Ford Flex. I'd picked up a recap tire thrown by a semi and cracked the front bumper. I've seen repairs that were obvious -- staples, glue, etc. Zook's replaced the bumper for much less than I thought possible. They also repaired the frost damaged lift gate and fixed a few nasty scrapes on the passenger side. Everything was done at our convenience, and done quickly. Just the best in town. read more

Awful customer service. They don't want to take responsibility for their mistakes and don't honor warranty when the awful paint work (paint peeling) occurred. Brian is VERY hard to work with, doesn't do what he tells you he will do and can't understand why someone would not be pleased with that kind of service. Bryan helped guide us through the process of dealing with the very difficult insurance company of the driver that damaged our car. He was so helpful and worked closely with us to make sure that the car was properly fixed and that their insurance company covered everything. I don't know what we would have done without him! Not only did they get me in right away, but they took the time to sit me down, let me know what the process was going to be like. From the Insurance and how to file it - to fixing the car - to the car rental. I got my car back today (2 days early) and can not believe how great it looks. It was super easy that I went through Hertz for my car rental. I was able to just leave my rental car at their facility and take mine home with me. They took care of EVERYTHING. My car was cleaner than the way I left it with them. They detailed the inside AND outside of my car. It looks amazing. I mean they even shined my tires. WOW. I cannot even tell anything happened to it. I can tell they took their time as well as know their stuff!! I felt important and valued to say the least!! So, I am a pretty good driver and haven't needed body work in a really long time. HOWEVER, my car becomes a storage locker for all of my work stuff, recycling, etc. SO- Bob Zook does detailing. I mean they do DETAILING. My car was stained with spilled bottles of flavored syrups for coffee, spilled coffee, and the remnants of taking our puppy to daycare 3 days a week. WELL, no more...my car is lovely and fresh and clean! Bob Zook is snuggled back into a semi-residential area...right off of Stewart, by the LaFayette Club-ish. Can't recommend them enough! read more

Excellent! After my last experience, this is the only place i'll take my vehicles to. My wife's van was hit in a parking lot. We took the vehicle to Bob Zooks and from the fist meeting it was white glove service. Brian sat with us and explained the entire process, explained how it would work going through the person that hit us insurance. He explained our rights, and then encouraged me to look at other shops. There was no pressure, Brian took time to make sure we were comfortable with his shop. That was only the start of it, I scheduled the appointment and they followed up to make sure all the paperwork was ready from the insurance company. When the vehicle went in the shop our rental vehicle was on site, the drop off took less than 2 minutes. When our vehicle was completed we took the rental back to the shop and dropped off and we were out of there in our van in less than 3 minutes. The workmanship: The van looked fantastic, You couldn't tell that it was hit. The paint matched perfectly and the job was very well done. Additionally they detailed the van. We have 3 kids, when we got the van back from Bob Zook it looked as good as it did the day we purchased it. Bryan and his team did such a wonderful job of fixing my car after some damage to my passenger side door. The insurance estimate was completed quickly, I was able to get it fixed in a timely fashion, and they had it done within the projected amount of time. Best of all, I was able to drop off my rental at the shop for enterprise to pick up there, and my car was amazingly clean! We had some damage done to our car the middle of December 2021. We got several bids and they were all pretty close. Our overriding concern was we needed the car fixed by early February to leave for an extended trip. Every other auto body shop said the earliest they could work on it was late February. Bryan Caldwell the owner of Bob Zook auto body said he would get it fixed before we had to leave. We obviously told him to go ahead. He gave us a date to drop it off. We dropped it off on a Monday and it was done and we picked it up on Friday. He made an exceptional effort to get this done especially during a time when getting parts and the labor needed were in short supply. When we picked up the car it shined brighter than new and the whole inside was detailed and spotlessly cleaned. We did not expect that. My car was dinged and scratched by a lady at my wife's work. Fortunately, she was willing to pay for it, but she was irritable to work with, demanding I get multiple quotes from multiple places in town! I got five different quotes from different places around town, and they all fell right in the same price range. We ended up going with Bob Zook since they could get our car in the soonest. The car looks fantastic. They really did a great job getting the ding out. You'd never know it was there! So why a four star and not a five star review? When I picked up my car, it was detailed and looked fantastic. BUT the end price of the repair was almost $100 more than the original quote. Granted, when they originally quoted me the cost of the repair, they did say it could cost a little more if they had to get some parts they weren't sure of yet. So I'm really not sure if they did end up ordering those extra parts and that's what drove up the cost, or if they snuck the detailing in to drive up the cost. Folks at Bob Zook - If you get back to me and prove that it was the parts that drove up the cost, I'd be glad to revise my review up to 5 stars. Side note: Since I got my car detailed, I guess I can also review their detailing service! They really did do a fantastic job. I didn't call up about the price discrepancy because it was hard to be mad at the job they did. The car looked BETTER than they day I drove it off the lot back in September 2013. I have had 3 vehicles repaired here and had great service. I just had my sons wipers go crazy. Took car to a repair / parts store and they started pricing motors for wiper. So much stress and aggravation! They repaired my husband's car a few years ago, and did a great job. My husband wanted to surprise me and have my car detailed while we were out of town on vacation. He prepaid and left specific instructions. My Dad was going to take the car to them and pick it up and finished. When the car was ready they called my husband's cel phone while we were out of the country, instead of my Dad as instructed. I wish I could give 10 stars. I have done business with Brian for years. What I appreciate about his business is his integrity, his staff knowledge, and lastly his quality of work, which is unparalleled. Brian has worked on almost all of my vehicles, historically due to my daughters driving prowess. Brian has worked on our SUV's, Sedans, Miata, etc. All vehicles are returned to us "literally" better than brand new. I have actually stood with Brian as he inspects "fit gaps" on hoods and quarter panels, examined paint samples etc. If you are looking for the highest level of integrity and quality of work go nowhere else. Remember you have a choice your insurance company cannot force you in any direction based on a list. I am incredibly particular about my vehicles and will go nowhere else. A simple stop in to his shop speaks volumes about his work. His bays are frequently filled with high end, collectible, and show cars.
