Never a disappointment other than when you cannot get a seat at bar or in the dining room. My favorite place for lunch or dinner. Great food, always something special to try! Great drinks and happy hour, yeah! And most important, 5 STAR service always! Reasonable prices for food and drinks. Definitely the best value around, which of course is why it is always packed and full of excitement! With regards to noise level below... Bar is happily loud. I've been to O'Bricks a few times now and each time was pleased with everything! First, the staff is very courteous, cheerful, and knowledgeable. The appetizers are unique and menu items span several categories. It has been a great place to meet with friends and bring family. Everyone enjoys O'Bricks and the outdoor ambience along with the bar are our favorite. If you haven't been here you should definitely check it out. Bar area has an old style feel and provides a great atmoshphere. Worst part is the ability to walk from the front to the back of the bar. Seems like they forgot to include an area for foot traffic between the bar and the tables. read more

My husband and i wondered into this place one day a couple weeks back....We have since been here twice in 3 weeks. The crab artichoke dip and crab cakes are Sooo delicious, they keep bringing us back. There is happy hour specials starting at 2. Tonight we shared the twin filets (after the crab dip and crab cakes, of course), and it was perfectly prepared in a pepper sauce. First let me say we like the bar atmosphere and bartenders ,as well as the food very much. Here it comes though. But!! We went inside to see the hostess at 5:20 pm to get a table outside, one 4 seat table left outside, and we were told "oh those are for larger parties" Well we turn around and 1 table had a "larger" party than a couple at it. Just 1 out of all the outside tables had more than 2 people at them. All tables but 1 had two people So we should have asked for management but being that we like this place and we have been here the last 3 Saturdays we turned around and we went to the bar , even though the "lovely" hostesses "did NOT offer us other seating at all ! Last week the manager came up and asked us how we were and if everything was ok, unfortunately not this week Just putting this out there for you all at O'Bricks , "Not very Cool" to pull that and the hostesses were young and not very nice about this whole thing.We originally stood there for a few minutes before they even told us "oh we save those for larger parties" in the not so nice manner that they did after conversation between the two of them And by the way , I'm saying again they did not offer us inside seating anyplace else in O'Bricks ,as we stood there deciding to leave or stay Not a nice experience at all but thankfully we sat at the bar again and had wonderful service Please Check on your hostesses since the two on Saturday were not very nice , not as a hostess is supposed to be and never offered us inside seating and were obviously willing to let us leave Not the way to retain customers. read more

I reside in the area and have been going to O'Bricks Grill every since they opened on 12th. What keeps me coming back is the good food at reasonable prices, their wonderful martinis, and of course, their wonderful service. I am so pleased that they are now open on Sundays and I finally took advantage of that this past Sunday by introducing this restaurant to friends who just moved in nearby. We enjoy sitting at the high-tops on the sidewalk, the weather was excellent and the street was quiet. We ordered martinis (happy hour till 7pm!) and as always, very good!!! We didn't order any specials but we ordered the Lobster Mac & Cheese, Fish & Chips with Apple Slaw (awesome!) and a very large Salad with Salmon. All came out quickly and was excellent. Mark, the manager, always makes the rounds to make sure we are all pleased with our selections. He definitely knows how to take care of his customers by making sure all is right. I never had a reason to return any plate or bring up an issue with service. The staff value their customers! Thanks O'Bricks for everything and look forward to seeing you real soon! read more

O'Bricks is not an Irish pub. It's a really good restaurant that happens to be in/attached to a bar. 6 of us had dinner in the bar Saturday night. The food was delicious. Mussels in white wine, stuffed peppers, raw oysters, firecracker(not spicy...but good)shrimp My grouper entree was perfection. Martini menu is very interesting. The Poire was excellent. If you want to dine in the restaurant, make a reservation on the weekends. 2 hour wait at 7:00 on Saturday. So, we just went into the bar and waited for a table to open. Great vibe, lots of energy....so happy to have this in downtown Bradenton. We will be back. read more

Was in Bradenton and asked 2 different people for a recommendation. Both said O'Bricks so we tried it. Boy were we pleasantly surprised. By the name, we were expecting a bar with burgers etc. But It was so much more than that. The menu was varied and everything was amazing from the appetizers to the entrees. This place is always good! Their lobster mac and cheese is to die for. We go here often for lunch and dinner. Staff is always there when you need and the food is always consistent. We got the shrimp app., which was ok and the fried green tomatoes which were the best part of the meal. For our entrée we both had the crab cakes and they not good at all. I have never had crab cakes like this before. The only way I can describe it was like pancake batter with small bits of crab in it which was partially cooked on both sides. The inside was mushy and the crab ( what little there was) was very strong (and not in a good way). The service and martini were great which brought this to a 3 star review. Maybe the other entrees are good, but please pass on the crab cakes. read more

The primary thing we always are looking for in a restaurant is consistency and O'Bricks achieves that time and time again. Once, I had a dish that I felt was not up to par and the mere mention of it to the server resulted in an apology from the manager and having it comped from the bill, which was not my intention. But that's the way they do things at O'Bricks, so that each and every time you go there, you can rest assured that you will be pleased with the result. The salads and the sandwiches are my favorites. OK, well, hmmmm... Everyone seems to go crazy for this place. It's OK. The chicken wings are huge! But they lack flavor, or something, I don't know, but just huge isn't enough. And check it carefully, because one of mine was very much underdone on the inside and another was a lot more pink than I would have liked, I ate them, and nothing happened, which is nice! But it was the taste that really made me just go, ehhh. Honestly. I have Tried the burger too, and it's good, way better than anything from any fast food place for sure, but for a highly touted place, I thought it would be something that would have a special place among the many burgers I've eaten. I did go back a third time, and probably will again when someone says lets go here again, but I doubt I would go if it was my idea, just to many places I would give 4 or 5 stars out there. First time here and found it via Yelp. So glad we ventured to a new place. The service was great and the menu is excellent. We had the fish spread appetizer along with our cocktails ...delicious! We each had salad...husband had the Brick house salad and I had the Tommy O'Brien Strawberry Blue...yum! Husband had the shepherds pie for dinner and loved it. I had the shrimp pasta...enjoyed that too. I like that the salads and entrees can't be ordered small or large on most items. We were do full that we didn't get dessert but plan to on our next visit...definitely will go back. read more
