Really great experience with Painters NYC. Tim and his assistant painted two recently renovated rooms in my apartment. I needed help deciding between a few Ben Moore color choices, one of which they specifically recommended themselves, which made it easier. They were both friendly and seemed to take the task with patience, which I appreciated. I didn't want to put too much work into it, because the room set up is pretty established and I just wanted a refresh, but obviously still wanted everything to look good! I'm glad I found these guys because that's exactly what I got. The process was really easy from start to finish - I filled out an online contact form on their site and got a call to get the ball rolling the next day. An estimator came to give me quote and went through the process - what color I should buy/was recommended and how much I should buy based on how many layers he thought I'd need. Since it was just two rooms, they said it could all be done in a day! We scheduled the painting for a few days later based on my schedule. They did a great job of not getting paint on ANYTHING and I didn't pay until everything was totally done. I paid via credit card but understood that they accept payment with Venmo and PayPall too which is awesome. Overall would highly recommend - painless process and great results! read more

Finally got my workspace painted. It was well worth it. New York gets so dirty. You'd be surprised how quickly your light colored walls get dirty if you are anywhere in Manhattan. It's like people bring the dust and leave it everywhere. And since it teach and a lot of students go through the the space I often need the service. Unfortunately there are also a lot of shady painters that don't do the job well, which annoys me so much ( it would any person with OCD). So I'm super pleased that I called these guys. I definitely recommend them, they are quick and clean and I kid had to leave a review because a wonderful service like this definitely deserves it. read more

Stumbled across these guys and really happy that I did! Just moved to East Village this past week, and it was a last minute move so it has been a bit rough getting stuff together, but these guys were available to paint my bedroom and living room the week I called. Also the paint that they use is eco-friendly which was a big factor in my choice. (I'm all about sustainability ya know) They were also pretty knowledgeable about different colors and shades of white which I was impressed by. It was a really smooth process, and as far as I can tell they didn't get a drop of paint on any of my stuff or the floor so big plus there. Easy to schedule with, quick job, and affordable. No qualms. Fun conversationalist too! Will be returning to if I need a paint job again. read more

Last month, I moved into my first one bedroom apartment in Greenpoint after subletting for years. Before signing the lease I made sure the landlord would be cleaning and painting. Tribeca Painters is one of the companies he works with for his buildings, and he told me they would be doing the job. Rather than allover white, I wanted there to be an accent wall of orange in the kitchen to add some brightness. I really wanted to do something unique and claim the space as my own. I ended up choosing Benjamin Moore Aura in "rumba orange" with a semi-gloss finish. "Festive orange" was a close second. The guys were offered advice for what would work best since the kitchen gets a lot of intense morning sunlight (southeastern exposure). For the rest of the apartment, they picked a crisp off-white color. I moved on a Friday afternoon, and the guys were really nice about working around the move schedule. Since I moved on short notice, they weren't able to paint until after I moved my furniture in. At first I was a bit nervous some of it might get paint splashes on it. But they came with all their equipment including several drop cloths - they covered the floor and furniture meticulously so my stuff was safe. They worked quickly and efficiently, even faster than I thought they would. I found Tribeca Painters to be very professional and all in all a pleasure to deal with. In the end, I was really happy with the way the accent wall turned out and they also evened out several bumps and cracks in the walls. When I was looking for a painter to paint my apartment, I got a few recommendations from friends, but most of those people turned out to be unreliable. My calls were not returned or they'd make an appointment and not show up. It was extremely frustrating and I was just about to give up when my pediatrician told me about Tribeca Painters. They came when they said they were going to come. Their estimate was better than expected and the people who showed up to do the painting actually knew what they were doing! Besides being on time and extremely professional--one lunch break, no cellphones while working, quiet and always courteous--I have to say they take a great deal of pride in their work. There was one hard to get spot behind a radiator that no one would have noticed was not painted, but the crew captain, Henry, insisted it had to be painted. I don't know how they did it without removing the radiator and damaging the floor, but they did. I have to say when I walk in to my apartment now sometimes I have to stop and remind myself I live there. The paint job really made a difference in the vibe of the space. I just moved into my new apartment and was looking for someone to help me with painting when I discovered the TriBeCa Painters. To my pleasant surprise this team was very well organized and there approach to the project was refreshingly new and different. They made me feel comfortable and gave me plenty of options with respects to how and when I wanted to execute my project. The prices were fair and availability was immediate. When they came to actually paint, they were extremely professional and took exceptional care of my belongings - which is huge most companies are in a major rush and loose site of peoples personal belongings. TriBeCa Painters is a cut above the rest as they are not only thorough but clean - YES they clean up after themselves all the while taking care to not damage anything in the process. I am always skeptical when I delegate responsibilities to others as I like to make sure everything gets done the way it should be even if I have to do it TriBeCa Painters delivered a 5 Star experience as if I would have done it myself. Kudos to the team that came to my new home and made it feel warm and cozy - remember it all starts with a great paint job. They created the effect of more space with their techniques and creative ways of thinking. Fast. Clean. Cheap. We gave him the instructions and he went to work. We barely had to clarify anything at all and the job was top notch. There is nothing better than hiring a great contractor, pointing at the project, and having them go after it. He finished the job in the laundry, vacuumed, cleaned, and put everything back in its place. He not only repaired the drywall, but he also painted it as well. We didn't have the paint on hand so he went ahead and matched the paint color and brought the paint himself. In addition, John was curteous and professional. We didn't catch the name of the gentleman helping him but he was also very professional and diligently worked painting our stair railing all day. All in all, we loved working with these gentlemen and we will be using them again for our bathroom project we have next. read more

The quote was reasonable, they also finished the work on time and did brilliant job. What sets this company apart is their excellent customer service.
