Close-up views of Hudson Yards, Empire State Building, Chelsea piers, Little Island, Hoboken, Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, Freedom Tower, Brooklyn Bridge, Manhattan Bridge, 911 Memorial. Captain did a few U turns for extended views of Statue of Liberty and Brooklyn Bridge viewable from both sides of the boat. The front of the boat was a very popular place for viewing in spite of the winds. Hardest part was getting here has no nearby subways stations. Subway station closest was Hudson yards and 34th, even then it was a 1 mile walk to get to this place near the Intrepid aircraft carrier exhibit on 12th and 46th. I removed a star because of an unfortunate situation with a groupon that I had purchased, and it honestly almost turned me off from doing the cruise at all but I am glad I still went. I paid for a groupon of a night time cruise for 90 minutes then was made to pay an extra fee just to go on the cruise I had already booked. Sunk cost theory made me go through with it but the entire interaction over the groupon was less than ideal, including them using my groupon voucher without me showing up. I prefer having these conversations on the phone but between the separate numbers on groupon and the company site no one would pick up. So just be warned about that situation. The wedding package made all the decision making so simple but we really enjoyed picking out our delicious menu. The food was outstanding. The Aqua Azul is a beautiful, well laid out yacht. Our 170 guests were easily directed between decks for our ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner and dancing. We lucked out with weather and had a warm and sunny late September cruise out of Jersey City. We left Liberty Landing Marina and went up the Hudson near the GWB and ended the cruise with a spectacular Statue of Liberty toast. Even our NYC guests were so impressed by the beautiful skyline and Statue of Liberty cruise and our out of town guests were blown away. Our evening flew by and our only regret was not booking more time aboard! Dorit and her crew/team were such professionals with obvious experience. We loved the wedding and our guests had a blast. My friends & I were here this past Friday , boarding is at 7 & departs by 730. Once settled we got some drinks & enjoyed the views. I had some Vodka & cranberry , this was not bad decent drink my friends had Jack & coke & Malibu & pineapple also not bad. First round drinks was reasonably priced think it was $27 this is not bad but they do offer an unlimited option for $50 this is a pretty good deal specially if u plan on having more than 2 drinks , we ended up getting this for the rest of the cruise. They serve food buffet style u can purchase for $10 not terrible if u are hungry one of the girls decided on getting some rice , chicken , ribs , plantains & potatoes not bad. The boat itself is ok they don't seem to put a lot of effort into making it look nicer it can probably benefit from some sprucing up maybe new paint , decorations etc. The real winner here is the lovely city views really can't go wrong specially on a nice summer day.
