We were on the Full moon, a sunset Hudson/East River cruise. It was absolutely amazing. From the moment we stepped on board this boat we had a wonderful time. The crew, the captain and Sean were awesome. It is a smaller boat, very beautiful, and comfortable. If you want a smaller crowd, this is the boat and crew for you. I always wanted to do a Hudson cruise but did not want a larger boat with tons of people. My guy found this company and now every time with come back to NYC, we will take a boat ride with them. read more

This was a fantastic boat cruise (AIANY boat tour around Manhattan on the Classic Harbor Line) in which for the entire time we were given an in-person narrative telling us about the various buildings or seaside entities, including a close-up view of the Statue of Liberty, as we passed them in the boat. I appreciated the knowledgeableness of the tour guide and her approachability when we wanted to ask questions. It was really amazing to learn so much about the city, particularly its function as a port, after having lived here for three decades! In the near future I'll be finding ways to take this tour again! read more

What a great time we had on this bot with my family! My six year old was initially hesitant of the boat but the crew immediately put her at ease. She even got to ride in the captain's chair. Shout out to julianna for taking care of us and being so kind. Would def recommend this to any families looking to see the city skyline and statue of liberty from the bay. read more

Nice uncrowded boat to see the Statue of Liberty. 4.5 stars Highlights: - Got to see the statue up close and get some good pics - Also got to see the Brooklyn Bridge - 1.5 hours was a good time--not too long - Smaller boat so not hoards of tourists - Nice assigned table seating in the spacious inside - Access to the front of the boat outside - Included a drink: from a short list or discount on cocktails - Some snacks: nuts, cheese, etc. - Nice staff - Knowledgeable guide Lowlights: - Tour was focused on the boats in the harbor and their history. that was fine but would've liked more on the buildings themselves read more

Excellent! The staff is very warm and welcoming. The dock area is clean and updated. The boat is BEAUTIFUL. Wood everywhere. comfortable seats. Classic bar. Amazing staff. Great tour just under 3 hours. First drink is complementary. The staff was filled with knowledge and professionalism. Great way to see the city from a very different perspective and not one that you can do on your own. read more

Definitely worthwhile for an afternoon adventure to see the incredible architecture and learn about the history! Our host organized a Manhattan architecture cruise tour for us on a gorgeous summer day. We all boarded the boat and peered out the large windows surrounding almost every section of the vessel. Our tour guide explained that while we would need to be seated for the beginning, we were welcome to head out the doors to the front once we were on our way, as the speakers would allow us to hear her narration from the outside. She was extremely knowledgeable and directed our attention with information and history as we moved through the waterways. A beverage is included on the tour, and they have a broad selection from still and sparking water to wines and beers. You can also bring your drinks outside. Most people didn't choose to come outside until later in the tour, so it was a great ride soaking up the sunshine with a breeze from the water. One of the highlights was definitely begin up close with the Statue of Liberty. There was plenty of time there for photos as we turned around before heading back. Getting to sail through the swing bridges was also pretty need. I definitely have a deeper understanding and appreciation for the architecture of the city, and we all had a really enjoyable afternoon! read more

The AIANY narrated architecture yacht tour was one of the best tours I've ever booked! It was easy to find the check-in location with the provided instructions after booking, the yacht was very comfortable, the crew was warm and welcoming from start to finish, and the narrator/tour guide was not only highly knowledgeable but kind and entertaining. I learned SO much about NYC and the architecture across multiple boroughs (and in NJ) and had a great time relaxing with some snacks and drinks. I would highly recommend this tour to any fellow nerds wanting to see a lot of landmarks in a relatively short time and relaxing manner! read more

A lovely early evening on the Hudson for Labor Day. The boat was really cool, the crew very nice and friendly. The perfect amount of people aboard. You get assigned a table down below which is nice to order snacks. Even that level is all windows and you don't have to sit there once in the River proper. The views on deck were spectacular (and I've lived here for 27 years) and we were all taking photos for each other. We "parked" near the Statue of Liberty for plenty of time to capture pics while we enjoyed our IPA's! Highly recommend. read more

We took the architectural tour around New York harbor and it was amazing. The ship was gorgeous, and the staff was so nice and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend them. You do get a complimentary drink on board as well. Terry was so sweet and offered to snap some pictures of my daughter and me in front of the Statue of Liberty. What a wonderful way to start the day! read more

An incredible experience. I do these tours often, whenever I have guests in town. It's a special day or night for anyone.

Three of us did the Classic Harbor Line's AIANY Architecture Boat Tour circumnavigating Manhattan on Sat., 8/22/26, starting at 9:45 a.m. (2.75 hours). I'd done this boat tour once before, in Aug. 2025. We had a table for 8 all to ourselves. Once again, the cruise was well-organized, enjoyable, informative (Arthur was an excellent docent/guide), and fun. The boat Manhattan II was just right for a tour like this. We initially sat inside, but soon moved out to the deck, where we spent most of our time. I'm a New Yorker, and this tour was good for both my out-of-town guests and myself. It gives attendees a real feel of the history and significance of NYC. read more

Went on a fall foliage cruise and had the best time! The whole cruise was about an hour. The ticket included the first drink of wine or champagne or half off cocktails so I did the half off and got a pear martini. It was so good I ended up getting another one. Beautiful views from both inside and on the deck of the boat. Very smooth sailing. The crew was so lovely, very inviting and friendly. Thank you Tim, Donna and Juliana! read more

Had an amazing experience on the boat tour to the Statue of Liberty! We purchased the tickets online the day before and it was for 6:50 pm. The ride was smooth, the views of the skyline were stunning, and seeing the Statue up close was unforgettable. Captain Felix and Sophie were friendly and organized, making the whole trip enjoyable and stress-free. Highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting New York! P.S. the cocktail that they served was great too. It was a mezcal drink that I forgot the name. read more

We took the Mimosa Sail on the Schooner Adirondack on Saturday. It was honestly better than we expected! The crew was so friendly and comforting (I think their names were Sandy and Lauren who were amazing!). You can tell they loved what they were doing and wanted to share with the group. It made us more comfortable seeing them confidently work around the schooner and wanted to engage in conversation. The "mimosa" were actually a wide variety of drinks to select from which was great. While on the tour, the boat turns so both sides were able to see the Statue of Liberty which was nice little touch. I would say this tour was definitely worth the money and such a unique experience to have while in the city. We will definitely be returning for a different ride as they have so many options! read more

This was our third cruise with Classic Harbor Line. Our first two were the AIA (architectural) 3-hour excursion. This time, we opted for the 90-minute statues and sightseeing cruise around NY Harbor. While not as detailed, it was perfect for the occasion with friends. We highly recommend it. read more

Took the architecture tour which takes you on a boat ride around Manhattan. You will head south from Chelsea, make a quick stop in front of Statue of Liberty, then head up the East River, through the Harlem River and back down the Hudson. It was a great, educational tour. Even though it was a drizzly cloudy morning, the guide who gave the tour made things very interesting. You definitely learn new things about NYC, its iconic architecture and history. You get a free drink with the ticket--you can order more, along with food. The crew were friendly and excellent. The boat was clean, with plenty of seating inside and out. One tip I have is that if you sit on the inside, take a table on the right side of the boat since this will give you the best view toward Manhattan throughout the tour. Highly recommended for both tourists and locals alike. read more

This cruise is completely lovely, the boat is gorgeous and the crew is welcoming. I was able to enjoy a belated birthday celebration (had to cancel the first time due to weather thanks to trip insurance) and was so grateful to have such an elegant experience. The only thing I would recommend against is booking the cocktail tables. They are incredibly small, bolted to the floor and so close together it's hard to have enough room when the next table's chair is pushed up against yours. We didn't sit at our table at all and instead enjoyed the outside deck which is exactly why we were there! read more

Wonderful cruise ( Statue & Skyline Holiday Cocoa Cruise ) within New York Harbor on the "Manhattan ". It's a nicely appointed boat (think classic cabin cruiser or smaller yacht) with beautiful wood details. The seating was reserved and very comfortable. You are not packed in like sardines on this boat. Captain Felix and crew made everyone feel comfortable on board. Good narration of sights along the way. Being on the water gives a good geographical perspective of Manhattan and the other boroughs. Photos can be taken outside of the cabin on the deck. Spiked Hot Cocoa with Kahlua made me happy. read more

If I could give more than five stars, I would. This brunch cruise around Manhattan was not only the highlight of our time in New York City, but one of the most memorable travel experiences I have ever had. From the moment we stepped aboard the beautiful luxury yacht, everything was exceptional. The atmosphere was perfect, with classic Yacht Rock playing softly in the background as we set off to circumnavigate Manhattan, passing beneath twenty bridges and taking in breathtaking views around every corner. Every few minutes another iconic New York landmark appeared, and it genuinely felt like seeing the city for the first time all over again. The food was outstanding -- quite honestly the best food we enjoyed during our entire three-week trip through the United States. The smoked salmon, capers and cream cheese bagels were delicious, the fresh fruit platter was refreshing, and the pastries, banana bread, croissants and apple tea cake were all beautifully presented and incredibly fresh. The chicken and waffles were the perfect brunch dish and every course was thoughtfully prepared. A special thank you to the talented chefs whose attention to detail elevated what could have been a simple brunch into a truly memorable dining experience. Equally impressive was the service. Every member of staff we encountered was warm, welcoming, professional and genuinely passionate about ensuring guests had a wonderful experience. The hospitality was flawless from beginning to end. It is rare to encounter a team that delivers such consistently high standards while still making everything feel relaxed and effortless. What struck me most was the incredible quality of the entire experience. The yacht was immaculate, the food exceptional, the service outstanding and the views simply unforgettable. Standing on the bow with the Manhattan skyline surrounding us is a memory I will treasure for years to come. As visitors from Australia, this was our final activity before leaving New York, and it could not have been a more perfect way to conclude our trip. We arrived expecting a nice brunch cruise and left feeling genuinely grateful to everyone involved for creating such a special experience. Thank you to the crew, the chefs and the entire team for delivering excellence in every possible way. This is New York at its absolute best. read more

I was looking for a fun sight-seeing boat tour while in the city for my birthday. I originally was going to just take a ferry ride, but when I came across this company, I had a feeling it would be worth the upgrade. This experience was awesome! We did the daytime sight-seeing cruise that included the Statue of Liberty and skyline. The boat was beautiful, comfortable, and offered nice amenities, and the views cannot be beat. Our crew was great. Captain Todd navigated us smoothly while providing interesting history lessons about various city landmarks. Thank you also to Jesse and Deion for taking such great care of us. I enjoyed sipping on mimosas under the sunny, clear blue skies. This experience was truly the highlight of my visit. I'm excited to return and try the sunset ride next time. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a unique way to experience the city. read more

I was a guest of Grace from Downtown Magazine and had the pleasure of enjoying my second sail with Classic Harbor Line. This time, we sailed aboard the Adirondack with Captain Cait, and once again, it was an incredible experience! Sailing along the Hudson offers some of the most spectacular views of New York City, especially the breathtaking view of the Statue of Liberty from the water. The crew on board was incredibly welcoming, friendly, and attentive, and the beverages served were the perfect touch to an already wonderful sailing experience. We had an excellent experience on the Classic Harbor Line AIA Architecture Tour. The boat is beautiful, very clean, and thoughtfully designed, making it easy to relax and enjoy the scenery throughout the cruise. The narration was informative, engaging, and easy to follow. We learned a great deal about New York City's architecture and history without it ever feeling overwhelming. It struck the perfect balance between being educational and enjoyable. The crew was friendly, welcoming, and attentive from start to finish. The tour includes one complimentary drink, with additional beverages available for purchase. Rather than having to keep going to the bar, the staff frequently came by our table to see if anyone wanted another drink or needed anything else, which made the experience feel relaxed and well cared for. The seating was comfortable, the facilities were clean, and the overall atmosphere was enjoyable from beginning to end. This past June, I did an architecture boat tour with Wendella's on the Chicago river, and was just amazed by the unique perspective of seeing Chicago from the water, as well as learning the rich history of the city by way of its architecture. When my partner & I were planning our recent trip to New York, we wanted to get on the water, but I assumed we'd take Hornblower or Circle Line tour... until we found Classic Harbor Line's architecture tour! Hosted and narrated by a member of the American Institute of Architects New York Chapter, we knew we were in for an informative time. The Manhattan is a beautiful 80-foot, 1920s-style yacht that offers a much more intimate excursion than the other cruise lines. We had an assigned table, akin to a small restaurant booth, and each ticket comes with a beverage of choice. We opted to upgrade to the beverage package, which included a total of 3 drinks. Boat tours & champagne go hand in hand! The architecture tour is a "quiet cruise", which means this is not the one to pick if you and your girlies are looking to gab the whole time. One of their holiday or sightseeing tours may be better suited for that. As a fully narrated tour, they request conversations be taken outside on the deck... and it was cold out there! I appreciated this, since we signed up for this tour to hear what our guide had to share. At one point, our table neighbors began to get chatty, and they were quickly reminded of which cruise they were on. Three hours flew by as we circumnavigated Manhattan in style, and it was the perfect way to start our first full day in the city! read more

Very comfortable boat with professional crew and informative narrator for the Architectural tour of Manhattan. Super fun sail, captain and crew were really chill. Not a touristy type activity with a full guide, but they will answer questions for you and are knowledgeable. I appreciated that it doesn't have a super touristy vibe. Went on the Adirondack. Nice vessel, was a great time out on the water. Lisa is bomb at taking pictures thank you Lisa. You're the OG. I wish I could remember the other names of crew. I sailed on 8/29 at 3 PM. Whole crew was lovely. Would go again any time I'm in NY. Edit to add: I bought tickets online about a week before, went to piers and checked in, then we boarded shortly after. Very easy process and about a 10 min walk from the subway to the piers. read more
