Having family visit NYC this was a great way to get some amazing sunset views. We booked this on the spot, hopped on & just sat back & enjoyed the scenery. NYC looked amazing from the water, Mother Nature really put on a wonderful sunset & gave us a great way to show case this very crazy, fun & amazing city.

I happily boarded the cruise with my best friend. The view of the Manhattan skyline and the Statue of Liberty from the cruise was truly breathtaking. The Circle Line cruise was filled with a diverse group of travelers. Most of the passengers were Korean or Chinese, who didn't understand English. It was truly unpleasant to see a Circle Line cruise staff (a fat black man) get angry and swear at passengers who didn't understand English, using profanity mixed with "F--."

Quick 1 hour cruise line that gets you really close to the statue. Quick history lesson and great host. Crew members are friendly. Upper deck and inside lower deck. They opened up the front for the inside lower deck and got us really close to the statue. 10/10

Came to NYC with my daughter for Hamilton's 10-year anniversary (so good!), and after some research I booked 2 tours for our short trip: pedicab ride in Central Park and Circle Line cruise. Both turned out great. For this ferry/cruise ride, the sky was clear blue and our guide Debbie was informative and enthusiastic. She really made it enjoyable. We got excellent views of the Manhattan skyline and the Lady herself, as well as Brooklyn and Jersey. It was just long and short enough for my tween. Money well spent.

Great time with friends on the CircleLine. Although it rained, we made the best of it. Staff was great, the ride was surprisingly smooth. Definitely would do this again!

Had a great experience, the views for the Sunset Cruise were incredible. And Debbie our tour guide was sweet and entertaining. Would definitely come again!

Despite the ominous clouds and impending storm we had a smooth boat ride. Captain George constantly reminded us of the safety measures. Once we came upon the auspicious Statue of Liberty, the rain had stopped, and the sky went from dark to golden, and our view was amazing.

Had only heard good things about this whale-watching tour and I had been trying to go for a while…read more Finally a date worked out and we got tickets the same day, so happy it worked out. The boat itself is clean and has enough room to move around while you're riding out to where you'll see sea life. The crew has clearly been doing this for a very long time and is incredibly knowledgeable. We had perfect weather and saw many dolphins and even saw some whales! It's a group activity for the whole ship to keep an eye out for some movement but it's so exciting when you do spot a whale tail pop out of the water. The whales were very active and we saw a few different ones before the ship was starting to turn back to head toward Brooklyn. As we were heading home we saw a two whale breeches so the captain turned the ship back around so we could see as much as possible. I was able to ask whatever questions I had about the whales to the crew and they always had answers. You can bring food aboard, and I believe on the lower level there is a little concession stand (I sat up top and stayed up there the whole time). Highly recommend a jacket or sweater as once you're out on open water the breeze kicks in.

Whale watching right in New York City? Of course! It's amazing to think you can do something so…read morenautical and full of marine life from one of NYC's Boroughs, but it's true as American Princess Cruises offers up whale watching adventures right out of Brooklyn. My wife and I did this just the other day and it was absolutely awesome. Truth be told, this was actually our second outing with APC as we had already had a fantastic time with them back in 2019 searching for sea mammals. Knowing my wife (girlfriend at that '19 time) loved it, I went to see if American PC was still a thing (especially after Covid times) and they most certainly are! Their boat launch location is different (now in Sheapshead Bay as opposed to Breezy Point), but it still is the same great cruise line. What makes it great? Well the boat is of reasonable size that could fit about 100 folks. It has inside and outside seating as well as a small snack bar with some simple foods to nosh on and an array of drinks (including beer and wine) to partake in. You can also bring on some basic food (we did bagels) to eat if you would like. I will say the bathrooms might leave something to be desired, but find me a small boat with a luxurious bathroom (you won't be able to). What's really most important here is the actual whale watching experience with American Princess and their crew. The APC website boasts some pretty regular whale (and dolphin) viewing and it shows as these guys know how to spot and track whales. What's nice to know is they do everything under a "Whale Sense" program that trains them to ensure all watching and following happens under proper distances and laws. Naturalist Celia explained all this and much more about whales themselves throughout our 3 hour and change trip. She was incredibly informative and pretty friendly from start to finish as she was helpful in pointing things out on the water. Other crew members (including the captain) did the same which helped in keeping us looking in the right direction. Directions like time were important (they used the "o'clock" method) because we definitely needed them to point us in the correct location. Starting early in our trip we began spotting whales. There were 3 humpbacks total that were spotted as well as a minke whale (which I had never heard of) and is apparently rarer to see. The trip was finished off with a pod of about thirty dolphins jumping and playing around our boat which was super cool. Overall, I highly recommend whale watching with American Princess Cruises. If you thought you needed to go out of Long Island in Montauk or this was some kind of Nordic European thing you could only do then you thought wrong! American Princess Cruises gives you everything you need to safely and enjoyably watch some sea mammal life right from an NYC Borough. Who knew? I did! And now you do too.

From the moment we boarded, everything felt well-organized and welcoming. The staff were friendly and efficient, making the check-in and seating process smooth. The real highlight, of course, was the view. Seeing the skyline from the water gives you an entirely different appreciation for the city's architecture and scale. Passing by iconic landmarks while listening to the live narration added a lot of depth to the experience. Our tour guide, Andrew, was especially knowledgeable about the history of the city--he shared fascinating facts, stories, and context that really brought each landmark to life, all while keeping things engaging and easy to follow. The boat itself was clean and comfortable, with plenty of space to move around and take photos. Whether you prefer sitting inside or enjoying the open-air deck, there's a good spot for everyone. I especially appreciated how unhurried the cruise felt; there was enough time to soak in each sight without feeling rushed. I'd highly recommend the Circle Line Sightseeing Cruise to both visitors and locals--it's a relaxing, informative, and scenic way to see the city from a whole new angle.

Our private three-hour sail (2:30-5:30) was perfectly relaxing -- just the three of us on a calm, overcast afternoon in New York Harbor, with a refreshing breeze and gentle waves beneath us. Captain Eric's beautiful sailboat took us up close to the Statue of Liberty and beneath the three "BMW" bridges -- Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Williamsburg. The views were stunning, and the peaceful rhythm of the water made the whole experience feel like a world away from the city's bustle. What truly made the trip special was Captain Eric himself. His insight into the harbor's history and his passion for the Billion Oyster Project -- a local STEM initiative working to restore oyster reefs through education -- really inspired us. As visitors from North Carolina, we were moved to make a gift in honor of the impact Eric had on our day and his dedication to teaching others about protecting the local environment. If you're looking for an experience that's both affordable and unforgettable, book a sail with Narwhal Yacht Charters. We all agreed: this will be something we do every time we come back to New York City!

BEST WEDDING EVER!!!…read more I was all set up at another venue to get married on October 17th, 2020. Three weeks before my wedding, I was informed they were going to need to cancel. Frantic and ready to cancel, my now husband had suggested a boat. I googled party boats in Brooklyn, and the Atlantis came up, and to be very honest, I was skeptical, I called anyway. I spoke to a lovely woman, her name was Kelly and explained the situation, and she was very sympathetic to what was happening. She set me up with an appointment with Amanda to have a tour of the boat. My husband and I got to the boat and met with Amanda and knew immediately we were in good hands. This woman is amazing. Leading up to the event date, there were so many changes due to hot zones and what have you, and several times I was ready to give up, and it was her who told me, you deserve to be a bride and have the wedding of your dreams, and she and her awesome team delivered at every single turn. From Jamie in billing, which was so sweet, Captain Fred and his beautiful wife who oversaw every detail and cruised us around the city (some of my guests did not even know we left the dock until they were invited to the top deck to see the cake cutting by the Statue of Liberty). All the servers that none of my guests waited for a drink, the food was out promptly nobody was waiting, they were awesome, and the food was delicious (get the lamb chop ordures). Everybody on the Yacht was amazing. Amanda, we want to thank you for everything you did for us. We could not have pulled off the best wedding of all time, all the little details, the communication between vendors. It was like working with a best friend easy peasy. From the very bottom of my heart, THANK YOU. Things happen for a reason.
