I had a pleasant experience and will definitely be back for nail services! The staff were professional and accommodating. The vibe is friendly and the salon is clean. I called in prior to check on their prices, and the total for my deluxe pedicure and full acrylic set ended up being less than what I thought it would be ($75 total before tip). This was a plus! I came in on a Friday around lunch time, and they were pretty busy. I didn't have to wait though, and sat down right away for my pedicure. I noticed the later it got, the more customers showed up and it got busier. Weekends are probably their busiest. I chose the Deluxe Pedicure, and it was well worth it in my opinion. It has more massage time, extra scrub, wax and a hot towel treatment. The water was the perfect hot temperature to soak my feet in. Everything was sanitary and new packages of tools were used. The massage chair was relaxing and even massaged my shoulders and butt! Kyle did my French tip gel pedicure and he did a great job, especially with the massage. The only thing I didn't like was that he had to cough several times, and a few times he coughed on me. I hope he wasn't sick! For my nails, I requested square, French tips, with a bow design on one nail. The lady who did them was quick and did an awesome job. I absolutely love them! I definitely recommend this salon for nail services. I did see multiple people come in for eyebrow waxing, so I may try that service in the future. I did see a few comments on Google Reviews of people who don't like the fact that the staff speak to each other in their native language. And to that I say, if you don't like it, simply go somewhere else! Unfortunately, I had a bad experience. The technician was pretty rough and careless when clipping my nails and filing. The person was careless in how he painted my nails and the result was sloppy. I imagine other technicians might be better. I am not sure how to not get the same person with their no-appointment system. I hope others have a more positive experience. read more

I have been to NYNails many times for many different things. I keep going back for a couple of things because they are the best I have found with variety in this small town. Nails: Pic is after two weeks of wear. I keep coming back here for my acrylic nails. I am picky about shape, thickness and texture. My favorite nail tech does a great job and is quick. Some of the nails techs, aren't as experienced. They have lots of variety I. Gel colors and acrylic powders! I took away a star for the ugly ombré nails one technician gave me and for the horrible job done on my friend's nails that came with me! She was getting hers done to match her dress for her birthday! A black and yellow gold dress....I listened to her tell her nail tech what she would like...showed him a picture, when he started using the gold....it was rose gold, she mentioned it and nothing was done to fix it no matter how many times she said something! These nails also were thick and didn't the color didn't entirely cover the nails.....she doesn't ever want to go back again! Waxing: I have had my eyebrows, upper lip and chin waxed here. I had no issues. The wax was a great temp and I didn't break out. At some places I break out within hours of a waxing, not here! Pedicures: They have lots of options for polishes and gel, as well as the type of pedicure you can get. I love that!! The pedicures are pretty good....there is another place in town that does a more precise (getting the cuticles, shaping and gel coverage and texture) pedicure but I wouldn't count this place out.....FYI a deluxe pedi with gel polish is going to set you back $50 ($15 just for the gel polish). Customer service: ok this place gets super busy so be prepared to wait....sometimes a long time! If you have an appointment you more than likely will not be seen on time! If you put your name on their list, hope they don't move to the next page and forget to check the previous one or you could be waiting for over an hour to be seen! read more

0 stars I went in today to get a full set. After waiting for about 30 mins I noticed a girl that came in after me they took before me. I figured since I wanted ombré and she wanted basic gel nails that that tech probably couldn't do what I wanted hence why she was taken ahead of me. However I had a question and one of the techs came over so I went up to the desk where she was counting her cash and tickets and waited for her to be done and acknowledge me. Instead she went back to her client. Never said anything to me. I waited an addition 5-7 mins with other techs and even customers looking at me and still wasn't acknowledged. I stepped outside to continue a phone call and compose myself because I was not happy with the treatment I was recovering especially as a repeat customer as you can see. I go back and they actually call me and tell me where to sit. However before doing so I asked her about why I wasn't acknowledged before in a very calm, normal volume and was personable. Long story short I was told that tech isn't a receptionist, DIDNT have to answer me and ultimately very rudely and dismissively was shewed off and told they didn't have time for this and walked away. I HAVE NEVER BEEN TREATED THIS WAY . I AM HURT AND APPALLED AND I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THEM OR GIVE THEM A DIME! They know they are the only decent nail shop in this little town and they know it. That's why they charge and treat people however they want. These small town folks can keep patronizing but I won't! They also have mask and claim it's mandatory but they let two teens sit in their for over 20 mins talking away with no mask. I know people hate driving to Jax and Brunswick for everything but I'll glad spend the gas money or wait until I'm in a larger city than receive this treatment again! read more

My boyfriend and I visited for a pedicure (high end of the services offered). He did not receive a hot towel wrap, leg massage and she barely clipped his toe nails. I looked over and observed his big toenail uncut and had to tell her repeatedly that she needed to cut it. He had a traumatic leg injury many years ago that affected his toenail causing it to grow extremely thick. At my requests to cut his toe nail, she kept spraying his toes with liquid in a bottle and going across the top of his foot with a brush. Before she finished, he complained of his feet in pain. This picture was before she "cut" the toenail AND was actually going to send him out with it like this. Once we were back at our hotel, he said his feet were burning. Thank goodness I had skin gels to give him a little relief but by morning you could see cut across the toes where she brushed after spraying the mystery solution repeatedly. Since my service, my feet have been itching and I've had to use anti-fungal cream. The morning after his pedicure he had a bunch of cuts/scratches that appeared consisted with the nail brush and that solution that maybe was supposed to be used on thick nails or heels but NOT on the softer skin. We will NEVER go back! In addition to this, we came because of a high rating but upon entering, we were not greeted for 5-7 minutes, then when we were, they took us to the pedicure station where we were left for another 5 minutes before anyone came over to render service. read more

Downside...there was quite a long wait but it was totally worth it. I was in here for about 2 hours in total(so come with time to spare)...most time was at least waiting in the massage chair while I got to soak my feet. I got the deluxe pedicure...it's $10 dollars more than the "regular" and SO.MUCH.BETTER! I promise you'll leave more than satisfied lol. I also got gel polish and it was around $50. Service was AMAZING! Place was clean and smelled good! I had an older gentleman and he took his time and made sure I was happy. You can tell they really care about their costumers. So the truth is that they are the best in the area. Most people will agree that their nails last an incredibly long time. The reason for this is because they take their time doing the nails. However, they have no respect for their customers time or money. I have gone 5 times and each time I was a charged a different price. I didn't realize it until the last time and brought it up with the staff only to be dismissed. You can walk in and ask how long the wait and the response is always the same. Generally they give you a attitude about even asking and then will lie about the approximate of time to wait. They know that people will wait and don't care about taking others that were there before you. Poor quality for the price you pay which I feel is a bit higher than average. I paid $30 for a gel manicure and got nothing I couldn't have done myself at home. The woman was completely rushing like she didn't care that she wasn't actually providing the proper services. She used no product at all - lotion, cuticle oil etc. I had to actually ask her to trim my cuticles because she went right from a quick file to grabbing the bottle of polish to start painting. So I had to ask her to do one of the main parts of the manicure and even then she didn't do a good job. As you can tell from the photos here these do not look like freshly groomed cuticles done by a professional. On top of that, she was very rough and actually made one of my cuticles bleed pretty badly which you can see in one of the photos attached. One of my nails chipped after two days and then later that same night the polish came completely off another finger. Absolutely not worth the money I paid. Very unhappy and will unfortunately be finding a new place. read more
