Glenda was amazing! Thank you!! It has been over a month now since I got my first full set from Glenda. I was at home visiting for Thanksgiving break and saw that she had a Groupon special, so I made an appointment with her. Before the appointment she was very easy to communicate with via text about questions and how to be ready. When I got there she sat me down and showed me pictures and asked me lifestyle questions to determine what lashes would look best for me. Then I laid down and she looked at them up close and told me what she was going to do. FAVORITE PART: Glenda explained everything that she was doing! I've heard so many horror stories about people getting bad lash jobs that I was kind of hesitant going into this, but she did a phenomenal job putting my worries at ease. As it should be, the entire process was painless and relaxing. I like more of a dramatic look but because I wear glasses it wasn't entirely possible because the eyelashes would bump against my glasses. So Glenda just added 8 longer ones on each eyelash, and told me if they bothered me too much that I could come back in two days and she would take them off!! By now I've already had a fill at a place back near me in the Midwest, and I'm so happy Glenda did my first full set! read more

If you want lashes that look amazing and have them last until your 3 week fill, NW Lash and Wax is the place to go. Very reasonable in pricing as well! Glenda is meticulous about the process in applying the lashes. She wears magnifiers on her eyes while looking through a magnifier as well- counting every.single.lash to make sure you end up with the same number of lashes each time. The atmosphere Glenda has created is amazing, with subtle scents of aromatherapy, soft music playing in the background all the while, you lay on a comfy, padded, blanket covered bed with yourself covered with a blanket as well if thats what you prefer. I always feel I am being so pampered by Glenda and the time goes by quickly. She also takes the time to clean your lashes (even if you've come in all squeaky clean) to make sure the glue adheres and the lashes last for the appropriate time. The glue has no smell what so ever and doesn't even sting unlike some other salons I have tried! Don't waste your money else where (like I did), make this your first stop and you'll be amazed the amount of time and caring that Glenda gives every single time. She is AWESOME!! read more

Glenda is amazing!! I had been originally getting my eyelashes done by somebody else and I had heard about Glenda so I decided to give her a call and book an appointment. Glenda told me that my eyelashes were put on so bad that glue had been stuck in my roots and my eyelashes extensions were being weighed down. Yikes!! She took 2 hours to completely take off my old gross lashes and put on a new set and let me tell you I could totally tell and feel the difference! My eyelashes didn't feel so heavy and didn't look like I was wearing falsies 24/7. So grateful I found Glenda! I have been going to her for 5 months now and there's no one I would rather go to and I've tried quite a few places!! She creates a calm and relaxing atmosphere for all her clients with warm blankets and calm music, I actually tend to fall asleep because I'm just so relaxed. She takes her time and it's totally worth it. The pricing is great too and Glenda is so flexible with your schedule! She makes sure you go home happy and I know my eyelashes are healthy and growing because of her! 10/10 recommend! read more

I have been going to Glenda at NW Lash and wax since May 2017. It is a beautiful salon in Gresham. Very clean and comfortable. I originally got my lashes for a trip to Vegas but fell in love with them and have continued to get them filled ever since. I recently had to leave town for family and while I was away it was time for a fill. I went to a salon near where I was staying and it was not anything like I was use to with Glenda. First off I told her I was here for a fill and she quoted me a price. I laid down and within 45 mins she said she was done. I was surprised and looked in the mirror and said that is not what I wanted. I was use to them being long and full. She then said she would have to call her husband to see if she could stay later at work. He apparently said ok. She then said to me well that is going to cost you. I said that ok and to please make them full. I left there spending double what I would have spent for a fill with Glenda and the lashes still did not not the same. I will n we go anywhere else. read more

Glenda has been doing my lash extensions for several months now. I had never had lash extensions before and had seen the work she had done on my friend. I thought it looked amazing! Just out of curiousity, I decided to give it a try. I'm really not one of those people that spends a lot of time on my hair or make-up. Half the time, I just pull my hair up in a ponytail, spend less than 5 minutes putting make-up on, and go. I have to tell you, these lashes make you look great even if you don't have anything else on your face. Glenda is so wonderful. She spent a lot of time with me on my first and explained what she was going to do, what to expect, and how to care for my eyes and lashes. She is very personable and puts you at ease. I often fall asleep when she's doing my lashes; she's that good. I wake up and voila! I have beautiful lashes! read more

I've been going to Glenda for over 8 years, and she is simply the best! She does a beautiful job on my lashes every time, creating a natural look that I constantly receive compliments on. Just the other day, a passenger asked what mascara I use because my lashes looked so flawless...little did they know, it was all thanks to Glenda! Her space is incredibly comfortable, making it easy to relax (and even take a deep lash nap!). She is kind, caring, and so engaging to talk to when I'm awake. As a flight attendant with a constantly changing schedule, I truly appreciate how accommodating she is, she always finds a way to fit me in, even when my flights are delayed.
