He was in awe of their work. Everything was done to perfection. We had over 6 bids for bathrooms ( total redo) and their prices were amazing for the work they did! They listened to our concerns, came up with a plan. We could not be happier! Besides bathrooms, we were going to have them do our flooring- carpet to LV. Third floor condo - we ordered all, they bought everything up three flights of steps ( 950 square feet) - after carpet was up they noted flooring was off, and LV was not an option unless floor floated. We opted for carpet. They hauled all of the LV back down three flights. Zero complaints. Happy to do whatever was in our best interest! When we thanked them for their great work throughout, their response was always " we thank you. We are grateful for the work!" Kind, perfectionists, trustworthy, tidy... we can not say enough good about them. Family run business. Gustavo and Danny have our highest recommendation! I am also a peer in the construction industry, working as an architect, and this past year has been so hectic for contractors, to expect all of them to respond right away is so unrealistic, and does NOT reflect their ability. With that being said, I'm over the moon happy with James's work on my kitchen remodel, I can barely put it into words. When I was looking at buying this house, the kitchen was the one thing that nearly prevented me from putting on offer in. It was gross, the hot water didn't work, water pressure sucked, and the range hood hadn't been vented properly, it just went up into the cabinet. But I had faith that w/ a better design and the right contractor, we could transform the space into something real special. I moved in to my house in the middle of April, and emailed him at the beginning of May for an estimate to demo the old counters/cabinets, install new cabinets, duct my range hood out the roof, and install the sink. He got back to me promptly, and was able to see me and the house the next day. He really listened to what I wanted, unlike some other contractors I had gotten estimates from, and his estimate was incredibly reasonable. He gave me a heads up that he'd be available end of May/first of June, which worked for my schedule fine. James started the week after Memorial Day and seriously wrapped up all of the cabinet demo, new cabinet install, new range hood install AND the associated plumbing/electrical work within 4 DAYS!! I mean, he is literally a construction crew of one, and moves so insanely fast, while still sticking to my design plan and keeping me updated when he found something while he was working. We had to wait to finish the sink install, since the counter company was booked out 3 weeks, but even then, he was able to come back out the very next day to wrap everything up at the sink. Honestly, this space has been transformed and is now so much brighter, more modern, and my new favorite room in the house! Thank you again James, I could not be happier!

The interior was cozy and inviting, with a surprising touch--beautiful cutting boards displayed and available for purchase. While the craftsmanship was impressive, the prices felt a bit steep. We arrived around 10 AM, and I'm not sure if it was because of the holiday or just the timing, but most of the food options were already gone. The remaining baked goods, quiches, and hand pies looked appealing, though the prices ranged from $4-$10, which seemed a bit high. I opted for a carrot cake muffin. It was good--solid in flavor and texture--but I'm not sure it justified the $5 price tag. My friend ordered a flat white and described it as decent but unremarkable. The shop itself is quite small, and the layout wasn't the most intuitive. It wasn't clear where the line started, and since they preferred to keep the queue from spilling into the building lobby, customers were crammed into a tight space. Parking was another challenge, as most of it was limited to street parking. Overall, while the experience had its highlights, and probably would've been better maybe not on a holiday.

Wise Choice uses a platform for selecting materials and so forth that was great in theory, rather questionable in practice, and our wires got crossed more than a few times. The time issue was simply that the projects took a bit longer than we'd planned. The time problem though was at least partly our fault (changing our minds about design, etc), and that was compounded by suppliers actually sending the wrong product on occasion, so certainly not all a Wise Choice issue. Other than that, they were great to work with, very pleasant people all around, very conscientious (cleaning up work spaces thoroughly every day), and the entire project came in under budget! We will definitely reach out to them again for our next remodel.

The project manager, Sergiy, and foreman, Bogdan, were very honest, helpful, and responsive every step of the way.
