When my car was totaled, NW Collision Services was the auto body shop suggested by my auto insurance. I did call around to other shops but none had availability to look at or work on my car earlier. NW Collision Services towed in my car. They assessed it at a minimum of $14000 repair. While their front desk folks were usually very brief on the phone and didn't volunteer information, the mechanic I spoke to on the phone (I think his name was John) was very helpful in explaining the repair bid and making suggestions about how to talk with insurance. In the end, the car was declared totaled. I stopped by to get my remaining items out of the car (I had forgotten the seat covers and license plates). They had to take me over to their secondary garage, which they weren't able to do at lunchtime. But I eventually got in and said goodbye to the car. While I hope you never have to experience a totaled car, I do think NW Collision Services handled the process in a timely and accurate manner. read more

I had my ten-year-old Toyota Sienna in for body work after I had a bad crunch that left my mobility functions unuseable. The van has a ramp for my wheelchair and it needed repair in addition to a number of scratches, dents, and bumps on the van. The van was in this shop for quite some time as we had to wait on parts. Once it was done, they delivered the van back to my home. I thought they'd made a mistake and brought me a brand new van! It was impeccable work. And they washed the outside and cleaned the inside. Communication could have been better - I had to call several times and sometimes would not hear back unless I persisted. But I can't fault their service. read more

Got swiped along the front driver's side door of my four door sedan. Needed dent and paint repair on the door, plus a new side mirror. NW Collision took care of me quickly (4-5 days) and were communicative throughout. As an unexpected bonus, the technician touched up an unrelated scratch on my rear body, plus they gave me an interior vacuum and wipe-down. I can't speak to the value because the other driver's insurance covered the damage, but the total appeared reasonable, if a touch high. Great experience overall. As soon as I walked in the front desk Person Brian made me feel unwanted right away and like he didn't want my business. He started by ignoring me once I walked in, then acting like I was annoying him by being there to get a repair done on my car, he refused my request to have the car looked at to see if the fenders being rolled would be a problem because the last shop said they couldn't do the repair due to the fenders being rolled. I finally had to have the manager come look at the car and help me out. I left the car for four days with no update on the status of the vehicle. So I went in on Thursday morning to check the status. Brian once again was the front desk man and begins to tell me they haven't ordered parts and are still waiting. I never needed parts ordered in the first place, it was only paint that was needed for this repair. So when he lied to me about waiting on parts that made me feel disrespected as a customer. He called me 15mins after I left saying parts are there and the car will be ready the following day. I spoke to the manager about how these altercation and others that are too long to write on here made me feel and how I won't be referring friends or family if they ever need repairs. Let me start with saying I would never send anyone to this company. I was in my first car wreck January 10,2024. Just before the ice storm. Our mini van was sent over just about the 18th, it needed towed. Paperwork was sent via email and I checked all the boxes to keep me informed. Again never had a wreck so I'm new to all this. The estimated time to have my van back was February 10th. We had a rental to take back, so I had to make sure the van would be ready. Now the entire time I never heard a word from this company, I had to reach out. Fine I continued to check on the status and was told the 10th. Well it was not ready. Another week. I would call 2 days before the pick up date to check and see if it was indeed going to be ready and nope another week. Finally about February 27th we get the van back. I'm not happy. I'm disabled and have a hard time standing and had to stand for over 30 minutes waiting for them to finish my car. I go home check it completely over. I'm annoyed, still damaged parts are not fixed, the AC is out, it has a foul smell, and for being new van it's idle is loud and rough. I call my insurance because I'm very annoyed progressive sent us to this company and the work was not completed. So they replied to us and say that we'll have to bring the car back on Monday since they are closed for the weekend. I asked them for a loaner car so that we don't have to get a rental car again and they agreed to give us one we take the car back in and they go over all of everything that's wrong. Write it down and will leave the car there. We drive away in their car. An older used car I'm not complaining it was free. So about 2 weeks go by and we get to get the car back this time they are saying that they will deliver it to us. They bring the car to us and bold and behold the air-conditioning still was not working so they have to take the car back. Now during the 2 weeks I'm driving their car around I happen to notice there are no tags on the front license plate AND the tags on the rear are expired about a year ago. I'm furious. Luckily the van came back within a few days after. Still damage on my rear fender that was not there BUT because it wasn't close to the wreck issue it didn't get fixed. So recap it took almost 3 months to get our car back, had to send it back 2 times, their loaner car is illegal AND my car smells bad inside. Yay thanks for being out of our lives. read more

I'm writing this review a year after I had work done on my car. Why did I wait so long? Because I wanted to say the body work I had done at NW Collision Services looks as good now as it did the day I picked it up a year ago - even after sitting out all winter through rain, hail and freezing temps. I went to NW Collision because I had rust damage along the top of my roof in six or seven places. The rubber moulding between the roof panel and the door was peeling off in places as well. Not only does my car look great, the job was done on time and for the amount I was quoted. The crew at NW Collision was friendly, low pressure, and straightforward. They even brought one of their technicians out to have a look at my car and give his honest opinion about what could be done. They explained that the rubber drip moulding would be expensive to remove and replace and suggested a strip of metal painted black instead. It looks great. I went to five other shops before I came to NW Collision and I'm so glad I did. Not only were they cheaper than the other shops, they took a lot more time to evaluate my car and give me different options. read more

My hood was severely damaged and needed to be replaced, I showed up to the estimate with a flat tire and they filled all of them at no cost. This place is amazing and the staff is so sweet, Teresa made me feel so secure and optimistic as well as everyone else who I came into contact with. I couldn't be happier with the service. It was replaced in a few hours and they worked with my schedule. The cost was also pretty nice for the condition the used hood they replaced it with (basically brand new and the same color as my car). I would recommend this place over and over and have already. This place does good work, but they when I sent my teenage kid down to pick up the car, they charged my credit card 25% more than the estimate. I have emailed them twice to try to get an explanation, and they don't respond. Since they apparently don't want to respond to me, I have taken my complaint to the Better Business Bureau, and am disputing the charge with my credit card company. I should point out that it was like pulling teeth to get a written estimate out of these guys to start with. My son had to request multiple times. After the second or third request, he was invited to pick up the estimate at the shop, which obviously would have been a challenge with his car in the shop. Eventually, we were able to convince them to email it to us, but only after the estimator told my son, "You realize I'm doing you a favor, right?" Um, no. Providing an estimate should be the most normal of procedures when providing any kind of auto repair. read more

If your insurance company recommends this place, refuse! My new car was in an accident 2 weeks after buying it. My insurance sent my vehicle here and it took 7 months to get it returned. They never gave updates on the progress and I had to call every other month to get info. I called once and they were rude and said if they had updates they would have called me. I finally got my vehicle back after 7 months and the tires were still damaged, their response was they had the vehicle so long they forgot about the tires. Not to mention my brand new car came back with scratches all over the back and driver side which had no damage when they received the vehicle. The interior of my car also has damage from whatever product or chemical they had on their hands. When they did take the car back to repair the tires they said it would take all day and then they let me know the mechanic broke the valve on the tire. My car had been broken into and NW Collision Services was tied in with my insurance (Progressive) so I took my car there to get the window replaced. Went in today to pick it up and there was some miscommunication with my insurance and I was told I needed to pay $500 to cover my deductible. Then Teresa, the estimator, came to the rescue! She contacted my insurance and got everything figured out very quickly. I really appreciated her doing what she did. NE Collision Services not only replaced my window but they went above and beyond and cleaned out all the broken glass, detailed my car inside and out and even buffed out some scratches from a previous incident. So, my car has been with NW collision for over 45 days. I had a conversation with Makala about my breaks, the reprogramming of my key and the side mirror. I get a call from my insurance saying they will no longer pay for my rental vehicle because it's a time limit. I called NW collision they said my car is ready, I asked about the breaks and keys. They had no idea of it all of a sudden. They finally got it approved to fix the breaks on a Friday and said the car will be ready Monday ! Monday comes oh it's the wrong breaks we have to reorder. Tuesday comes oh it's the wrong rotters we have to reorder. Wednesday comes the car is finally ready, after I started telling Makala about the experience I had with them she got so defensive and would not let me get the information to the owner or management. Overall the car was fine everything looks good. However the customer service was shitty and they take extremely long to work on cars. The two starts is for the car but other than that customer service/ communication was terrible! read more

A bicyclist hit the side of my car on the HWY and I took my 2020 Kia Soul to the shop here as a recommendation from my insurance company . There was windshield damage, my mirror was broken off and had several dents and scratches on the passenger side of the car. I called the day before to see if I could get it in to be fixed before Memorial Day weekend and brought it in right before 5pm when they close on Friday. Mike met me at the door and helped me out as quickly and professionally as humanly possible. He made me feel welcomed and not rushed as I was driving from St. Helens getting off work as soon as I could. He even called Enterprise and got a rental to the shop. Since there was a lot of damage and insurance being all tied up Mike kept me in the loop about how long it was going to take to get everything fixed as well as a price quote up front so I wasn't surprised about any charges. When my insurance agency told me the bike guy wanted access to my "black box" in the car, I let Mike know and he was gracious enough to be the point of contact for that as well, taking a load off my plate stress wise. When the car was ready to go, I came to pick it up, the process was quick and easy, even when my check engine light was on before leaving the lot he fixed the sensor that was off and sent me on my way. I was thrilled to death to have such great service and trustworthy people working on my car and with all the COVID stuff going on they cleaned and disinfected the car before giving it back to me which made me feel secure with that part of the service as well. But, I am so grateful for the service NW Collision Services provided I feel like I'm doing a favor to potential customers by helping them find this awesome repair shop. I hit a deer on my way to work. Besides feeling horrible for the deer, I did a number on my car. I also forgot my phone. I shot these guys an email hoping to hear back and had prompt, professional communication that they maintained through the whole process. They made it easy to drop my car, took care of all of the insurance details/communication, kept me posted on repairs, really made it easy for me to understand the insurance process since this was my first time using it, and then delivered my car to my work washed and vacuumed and dent-free. Honestly, I couldn't recommend them more highly. Professional, courteous, kind, you name it.
