I was looking for a shop that could install first class audio in my 2024 Audi RS Q8. I was told by some enthusiast that the 2024 Audi Q8 was a very complicated machine and that if someone didn't know what they were can really screw up the sound system in the car itself. So I gave up I did see one place in Maryland on the Audi forums, but it was just too far away and the was over 30 K. Certainly worth it after looking through the videos and what was done. Then one day I woke up and I said let me look some more. I actually use which linked me to NVS Audio. So I decided to take a ride down to the shop and talk to the people there. One of the other reviews are correct. I walked in there and nobody gave me the time of day at first. And I don't blame they into their builds on bikes and other sport . At first, I was a little taken, but then as I watch what they were doing, I understood what kind I was in. These guys are and don't stop till they get it right 100%. So I met Carlos and he came out to my the passenger asked me to turn on my stereo and said OK what do you want? Which I thought was great. He didn't come out and try to sell me something or he didn't try and tell me what I needed. He asked me what I described to him how I like sound and what I'm looking to hear. He said OK I'm gonna get back to you. little bit of time maybe a week or two he finally sent me a build. I was taking a back a bit because I used ChatGPT to put in the specifications I wanted and how much money I wanted to spend. When Carlos sent me the bill sheet, it was a little bit more equipment, wise and what I put into ChatGPT. I had a conversation with him about it, and he explained each component what it would do and I was over the top with excitement. And just for shits and giggles I put in his specifications into ChatGPT and ChatGPT came back and said exactly what Carlos said about what the additional equipment is do. So in my opinion, I had two opinions, a professional, and AI so I went with the professional. I picked up my car today and I can't wipe the big smile and grin off my face. I brought some lossless disco files on a thumb drive to listen to. Kyle, the gentleman who tuned the DSP with his computer, sat in the passenger seat as I played and he tuned the system. Again, these guys were giving me what I wanted, they weren't trying to sell me what they think I needed. And to a major factor when you're spend big money on a stereo and my hat goes off to Jason as he did a lot of the grunt work on the car. So between Carlos, Jason and Kyle they were a dream that made my dream come true. You know in the beginning when I a little bit about his skill set, and I did that professionally, he said he did these before. I had no other choice, but to believe him I wasn't gonna ask for proof... Lol that would've been a little too much anyway again I got my car back today and I could do nothing but hug Carlos and the and thank them so much. read more

The professionalism, customer service, and quality of works was more than I could ask for. Almost anything you could be looking for could be addressed on his YouTube channel. I came to find out about Carlos and NVSAudio via Facebook groups and YouTube. My experience with NVSAudio was above and beyond. I went to my local shop knowing everything I wanted because of Carlo's YouTube channel. I had a local shop do an installation on my Harley-Davidson. My local shop had problems with the DSP installation and determined a line leveler would suffice. The fronts where just really loud with almost zero mid-bass and the rear lids, well my wife and I could barely hear them. I didn't pay $800 for a pair of 6x9 and lid kit to not hear them. In the end I was unhappy with the results and decided to give NVSAudio a call at 4pm west coast time, completely forgetting they are east coast time. Carlos answered the phone well past the shops operational hours and gave me some amazing advice. We talked for about 30 minutes discussing my set up and determined a game plan. Carlos told me he would send me a plug and play wire harness with a pre-tuned DSP per my bike audio set up. Next day Carlos txt me a screenshot of the package ready to go out and told me to call him once the DSP was installed to finalize the tune. Carlos also said if I needed help during the installation he would walk me through it. Mind you this is all at the expense of his time, as the only thing I paid for was the product and the tune. As soon as the package arrived, I was in my garage installing the DSP. After the installation I called Carlos to finish up the tune, he answered and asked if I could call back in 15 minutes as he was finishing up another DSP tune. After calling back we finished the tune per his instructions and let me tell you my bike sounds ABSOLUTELY amazing. The clarity of the highs and mid bass was just stunning. Here is the scoop. I have been chasing my tail with audio on my bike for over a year. Almost had it right but it was off a little. I contacted Carlos and discussed with him what I had going on. Wednesday he said to bring it down and he would help me out. I left PA Thursday morning and drove 3.5 hrs out to his shop. These guys are pricey not gonna lie. But they know their stuff! I had an aftermarket studio installed and there were some manufacturer glitches with a stereo I brought in to have installed. Despite these manufacturer glitches, Saul (Lead Installation Tech) worked tiredly to solve the issues and in doing so devised a custom solution for my unique application. Saw their YouTube channel and thought I'd call to setup a plan for a few of my motorcycles I have audio on. I called and was told to come down so I took the 45 min drive to their location. When I get there I was kinda greeted by an employee. I told him I called about an hour ago and wanted to go over option. He then says you have to speak to Carlos, walks away and never comes back. Full disclosure: I'm very detail oriented & quickly find mistakes, so I am not the easiest customer. First of all, the Owner Carlos is an artist. He makes beautiful custom designs for car audio. He's a master with wiring & he is very knowledgeable about car audio in general. The good: My car had a high end audio system installed by another shop, which I was not happy with. Carlos identified most of the sound issues & added a DSP, made a custom sub enclosure, & cleaned up my wiring beautifully. The not so good: Attention to detail needs improvement: My faceplate was heavily scratched during the install & wasn't noticed until I pointed it out. Many of the trim panels were broken in places & repaired with glue which didn't hold well - I ended up replacing them at my own expense. Twice the car was delivered with some speakers not working, which required me to drop off the car again. A third & final shop identified some unresolved issues I was having with "hissing" from the system & some whining coming from one of the speakers, which Carlos wasn't able to solve. Turns out the hissing was fixed by some simple adjustments to the filters on the amp & the whining from the speaker was a relatively simple wiring issue. Given Carlos' knowledge, I'm sure he could have figured these things out if he took his time. Communication & Time management needs improvement: each time I dropped off my car, it stayed there long past the original ETA. Sometimes by a few weeks. I never received a call or text to update me on the status or to let me know it was going to be late. I had to follow up many times. read more

I could not be any happier with the install. They were able to make a bracket and install it behind the back seat. They also showed me how to take off the bracket in case I need space in the trunk. I've had a few cars worked on here and the owner and staff are all first rate professionals. The installations made it look like it was always installed in the car, no hanging wires or missing clips, etc. One one installation that I bought them for a new navigation unit, it turned out that the unit was DOA, they put everything back the way it was, and didn't charge me a dime for their time. I suggest making an appointment or getting there early in the morning if you want to get in and out, but it is best to be able to drop off your car so that you're not stuck waiting, unless you have a good book. Stopped in on a Friday evening after work. Cutting it close as I knew they'd be closing soon. If you use Waze to find the place it might take a hot minute- google maps worked fine. I stopped in because I'd been having some issues with an HID install that had been installed elsewhere, before I purchased my vehicle. One of the lights kept working intermittently- at one point this happened before and it was just a loose connection, but I could tell they wasn't the case this time. The gentleman working, I believe Allen- was great. He was the only guy at the shop and said he'd take a look after he was finished what he was working on at the time. He assured me he'd look, and if I had to- could come back tomorrow to have it fixed. Ok, no problem- I knew I'd more than likely need to make an appointment. He finished what he was going and spent a short 25 minutes looking at and fiddling with my hid assembly's. He then spliced some wires, soldered some and had them working like new! He wasn't even going to charge me, but I felt with the service and his attitude I needed to pay him something, so I gave him some money for his work. He advised me if anything ended up happening to go on back and he'd be more than happy to help. Great place- and if all the employees are like this- I promise you it's an honest shop. I'm in town for work and was worried I'd have to settle for a shop that would take advantage of an "out of towner". Not the case with this place! A+!! read more

Not a standard installation although you wouldn't know it from the way Carlos Ramirez handled it. He knows what he's doing, which is the highest compliment I can possibly pay him. Know Carlos for years. He lost a customer today! Forgot the little guys made his success years earlier. Recently, did a reinstall on an alarm he originally wired and setup. Alarm not working today and alarm goes off at all hours of the night, driving me and my neighbors crazy. He also ripped out my K2 Radar system that he installed years early after we discussed and agreed he would repair it. Alarm system caused busing smell, a real licensed electrical engineer confirmed that because he took the relay out, the alarm will not work correctly and burning was a result of technicians botched and shoddy work.
