Got an appointment for this morning! I specifically asked for my nails and toes to be done at the same time. Sure enough they didn't not respect my wishes. I started my nails before opening hours thanks to the gentleman who did my nails. And once my nails were done they had me sit on pedicure chair yet the tech who supposed to do my pedicure isn't even at work yet. Unfortunately, after waiting 15 mins I left without a pedicure! Been coming here for years and been serviced by Gina! She's amazing but after this incident I don't think I will be coming here anymore. They don't care about loyalty or service. read more

The DIY pedicures during quarantine just wasn't cutting it, so I made an appointment at Nuvo nails. Just a regular pedicure, nothing fancy. As I entered, they took my temperature, got me to fill out a form regarding my symptoms, and got me to sit in a chair sufficiently far away from the one other customers. The pedicure stations did not have plexiglass, but you are pretty far away anyway. But the manicure stations had plexi glass barriers with good coverage. All the staff wore a mask and followed basic sanitary methods. The pedicure itself was pretty basic. It felt a little bit rushed... I wish they'd soak and scrub a bit more, but hey what do I know about proper pedicure procedures!? Overall, the staff were friendly and a good pedicure all around. I'll definitely be back! read more

Terrible customer service. I had an appointment at 5:45 and when I went there they told me they were so busy and they couldn't find my name on their list so I should go back at 7:30!!!!! I've gone to two different nail places before this one and nothing beats Nuvo Nails. I've been going here for about a year and a half now and love the services and colours they provide. I used to get the shellac nail polish but was recently suggested the dipping by one of the nail technicians. I'm so glad I made the change. My nails are stronger and the manicure lasts 3-4 weeks without chipping. Lucy does an amazing job and meticulously checks that all the nails are done well and of even shape and size. Horrible business. i went there for few years because i live near by. First they always lie about pricing. which is crazy. on the web site its says price 30$ and when i came the Lucy ( she was always doing my nails and always horrible) says from her head pay 70 or 80$ and when i asked them where is the price list they say we dont know! am I stupid? Went in for a plain mani pedi and brow waxing everything went well till the pedicure and brow waxing .. Got convinced for a dipping manicure, though would treat myself for my coming up Anniversary . But the lady doing my manicure was so grumpy and quite unhappy to correct my shape. I came in about 5pm on a weekday and they turned down quite a few people after me so I would recommend getting an appointment or calling in before you show up! Went in for a Shellac Mani and the nail tech did a great job and took her time to make sure my nails looked great. There are spots on my nail where she didn't put enough of the shellac top coat but otherwise it looks great! It was about 37$ - before tip - for the mani which seems pricey to me (regular mani is 18$) Will update if it lasts as long as my other shellac manicures ! Update: My shellac lasted almost a month, which is kind of insane ?! Definitely will be going back. read more

I went to this salon because its so close to where I live but when I showed up there was so many ppl that one of the ladies there told me to book an appointment it would be faster. so I booked an appointment for the next day for my nails and waxing. my appointment was in the evening. when I showed up it was once again packed. I went in told them I had an appointment now and was told to have a sit. after waiting 25 mins after my appointment time I got frustrated because there were still a couple customers infront of me. I then got up and walked out without getting my nails done or waxing. I was disappointed because the salon was really nice and clean. but they do not stick to their appointment times. read more

I found this place by accident as I was walking in the neighborhood. I went in and the first thing that caught my attention was how luxurious and beautiful the place was. The staff were really nice as well. I spent around 2 hours there to do gels on my nails. They have a variety of different gel options and all at a great price point . They were not pushy at all and they listened carefully to what I asked .the results were fantastic. I've been here a few times and I wouldn't recommend this spot to anyone. 1. Service is unprofessional and the girls are unfriendly. 2. They're very slow, it takes over 1.5 hours for a regular manicure, a manicure shouldn't take longer than an hour. 3. Two of my nails broke after getting a manicure, I went back 2 days later and they charged me for fixing the nails. One of the girls said she could only fix one but not the other because it takes too long. If they had done them properly they wouldn't have broken in the first place. Highly discourage anybody from going here, price point does not match the quality of their services. Terrible! read more

The girl was so rough and distracted that my cuticle started bleeding. When I noticed I stopped the manicure right away. Will never be back and I hope this review is helpful for others to avoid this place. She also told me they closed at 5 pm when the door and their website says they close at 6 pm. I have been going to this salon for a few months now. The lady I usually go to left and now they have a new lady who is extremely rude and has terrible customer service. I am so disappointed the way I was treated they kept taking walk ins when I was waiting for 20 mins after she asked me to come in earlier just ridiculous how they spoke to me. I decided to check out Nuvo Nails as its very close to my home. Great customer service and a really cute salon. It was very clean and the nail artist did a great job with my nails. However, after 4 days two of my nails started chipping (I had shellac done, which I've been getting done for over 4 years now), I went back and the nail artist fixed it. Again, about a week later all my nails started chipping, usually my nails will last 3 weeks without any chipping. I decided to go back to my usual salon and get shellac done there. read more

This place opened up recently close to where i live, even though i go usually to this another place for waxing which is way too good but i was tired today to go there as its far and thought oh Nuvo nails is right below my place so i will just go there and get my underarms waxing done. I first walked in but they were all occupied which is understood as busy season so i went home n called them to book an appointment on the same day for 7pm they said ok come at 7 when i went there they were still occupied and i told one of them that i came earlier and called to book an appointment she stared at me face then said u will have to wait i asked ok how long will that be approx? She asked her colleague who replied to her in their language and they didnt tell me what time so i just sat there and started waiting. I sat for 20 mins then asked again how long will it take approx to which she replied about 20 mins after which i had to walk out :) i found that unprofessional! They had no idea about the appointment, the prices are also higher than most places, even though its so close to my place i will not go there again and not recommend it read more

it was my second time going to this place and both times i didn't have good experience. lets talk about the second time. i went there early in the morning and there were 3 people there and they didn't have any customers. i asked about the price of mani and pedi and what i wanted they gave me a price. i accepted that and after she was done with my pedi she started to colour my nails. i said oh how about the manicure! she said you want mani too? i was like yes that's what i asked for. then she said if you want mani its $10 extra. i was very shocked as i had the same experience as first time in that place. anyway after working 3 hours on my nails and charged me $90 i left. i wont go back to this expensive place ever. where they just keep changing their prices. by the way two of my fingers got cheeped after two days. i went back but nobody cared they were busy an asked me to come back later and they weren't friendly at all. i didn't have time for such a headache. not recommended :( read more
