I first came into this nutrishop in January when a friend of mine told me to check it out. Every visit since then has got better and better! They have amazing staff especially Gio, this guy is someone I look up to! He helped me out with a free meal plan and aside from incredible hook ups on their top of the line supplements and their free shaker cup w/ purchase that I use everyday, he's really helped me out with advice from exercising and gym related things all the way to small details on my diet. So far the best Nutrishop out there. If you need help with anything or you're looking for some quality supplements look no further. I've just recently purchased pink lemonade flavored Stance BCAA's and you can't go wrong at all with it, it's really good taste wise and it puts in work at the gym! Hands down one of the best supplement shops around town right here. Outside of becca and Gio who are also helpful people, the manager Andrew is truly one of the best. He's always there to guide me through supplements and teach me about what I may need more of or less in the product I'm looking for. Also the thing that separates not only Andrew/Nutrishop Downey from its competitors is, that their not some wimpy/scrawny or old person trying to sell you a product that your going to over pay at maybe a gnc store. As far as my knowledge with supplements I came in not really knowing much on which supplements to take or even knowing which brands are good. The shop manager at the time of my visit was Andrew and he was very informative on how the supplements pertain to the body and recommended a few brands that he felt would meet my need. I came in looking for a fat burner and a good protein to build some lean muscle. I very much felt confident in my purchases from here knowing that Andrew knew his stuff so I didn't feel like I was hassled into having to buy a product that I was iffy on. Also I was offered a BMI reading and Andrew set up some meal plans for me reaching my weight loss goals. Andrew... aka Bueno at Downey Nutrishop was awesome. Long story short, I was fat but finally got my act together and got heathy. Andrew helped me with my nutrition supplements. In addition, when I started to lose to much weight he really helped me with my eating habits and making sure I was taking in the right calories and protein that matched my lifestyle. Overall, great customer service... never "up sale" me on products that I didn't need. I drive 15 miles out of my way when there's a nutrishop 5 min from me just because of Bueno aka Andrew. Stupendous service, whether you're trying to chop it up talk sports/fitness or actually need help with supplements he's there to help you. He doesn't come at you as soon as you walk in trying to sell you the store either like most shops. He makes his presence felt and is there if needed. We've been to other shops and there is nothing compare to this one. My in laws recommend this place to me and my boyfriend. She said, that they know their products very well and she wasn't lying about that.
