We are addicted and will only use the Ohsawa Nama Shoyu, which is an organic and unpasteurized soy sauce from Japan. Our Whole Foods used to carry it and now they don't and I've looked at some of the local Asian markets but cannot find it so we order from Gold Mine. In all of the years I've been ordering, I have only had one misstep with an order. It was during COVID and I typically order the 32oz bottle which will last us for about 4-5 months. What came that time were two small bottles and I had a bit of a challenge getting in touch with them during that time. Once I was able to talk to someone, they were quick to rectify the situation and they shipped out the big bottle. The shipping is always great with the bottles being bubbled wrapped and then wrapped in thick shipping paper to secure the bottle and get it unbroken to the destination. It also has only taken about 4-5 days from order to arrival. Wanted to give Gold Mine an updated shout out!!! We are customers for life!

I'm a sucker for kraut and I was krauted out after this night ! They offered all you can eat FREE BARBEQUE ! We enjoyed vegan frankfurters with Gold Mine Sauerkraut and Kimchi, cucumber salad, potato salad, Maya's Cookies (BOMB.com), and other goodies ! They also had unlimited Green Flash Beer for $10 ! Everything was DEEE-LICIOUS !!! The potato salad was addicting ! I couldn't get enough of it ! The sauerkraut and kimchi were plentiful and more than enough ! I was overwhelmed and as an Asian chick I'm a sucker for fermented foods. The cucumber salad was very refreshing and was a nice addition to the flavorful, vegan frankfurter that can even fool an omnivore. NOMNOMNOM !!! They also had great raffle prizes from Solti juice, Maya's cookies, shirts, gift sets from Gold Mine Natural Food Co., and vacation getaways !! Super generous of them ! While shopping, he was treated as though he was following an employee, & staff loudly called attention to it in a way that made him seem suspicious in front of other customers. Afterward, he noticed employees continuing to follow him around the store while he simply tried to finish shopping. We have been loyal customers at this Sprouts for years, which made this especially disappointing. I completely understand the importance of staff safety & taking concerns seriously, but there are more professional & discreet ways to handle situations like this without publicly embarrassing a customer or immediately assuming bad intentions. A quieter & more appropriate approach could have been checking in privately with the employee involved rather than making accusatory assumptions. My boyfriend simply happened to be walking in the same direction while shopping for dinner ingredients. Overall, the experience was very disheartening, & I hope situations like this are handled with more care & professionalism in the future.

Immediately upon entering the store I was struck by how bright, clean and inviting the store was and how engaging the employees were towards me. I got to the hot foods counter 5-10 minutes before they put out the rotisserie chickens. I could see one employee pulling the cooked birds from the oven and packaging them for sale. I was struck with how clean and neat everything was and the great care the employee in removing the chickens and preparing to be put in the hot case. As I was waiting I must of had 5 or 6 employees go out of their way to greet me and offer to assist me. I enjoyed looking at the cold case and the offerings. The real egg salad definitely caught my eye. I will definitely get on my next trip to Jimbo's. I also love that they sell cooked and hot breasts, thighs, legs and leg quarter in small quantities. It gives the shopper to just buy one package or multiple packages depending on much you need. The produce and fruit were amazing, well displayed and drew me in as did the bakery department. I enjoyed being able to go up and down the aisles that were well stocked and organized. I went to Jimbo's for a rotisserie chicken and left with several of goodness. My cashier Lisa was amazing. She was very friendly, engaging and very careful in handling my items while ringing my items. I also appreciated how carefully she bagged my items. I wish I could remember all the employee's names who checked on me, said hello, offered assistance and took care of me in a timely. Sure their prices are slightly higher than some bigger chain grocery retailers but the quality, freshness and ready made products put Jimbo's in a class of their own.
