I just went into this location today, which is conveniently located right next to LA Fitness. Immediately upon walking in, Alan gave an enthusiastic greeting and asked if he could assist with anything. I'm no stranger to supplements and how they work, or supplement shops; but Alan did a phenomenal job of explaining the differences between certain creatine types so that I could confidently purchase the product that I thought was best for my needs. Alan was also great at answering my girlfriends questions about different protein-centric products. Nowhere did my girl or I feel as if we were pressured to make a purchase and get out. Let me just start out by saying that I don't go to nutrition stores very often but every time I have gone into Nutrimart I've had such good customer service!!! Sean runs the store and always keeps it very clean and organized. Now I don't work out very often but I needed something to help with my low iron and they helped me find some great iron pills. They also have amazing Protein One bars in so many different flavors that I actually enjoy eating :) I have never felt like I was being sold to any of the times I have gone in either!! I literally get all of my products from Nutrimart. The guy that runs the store is super nice and is always incredibly helpful. He recommended a SARM's stack and it actually work!!!!! I have called the store in the Past right before they close and the manager stayed open an extra 45mins so I could get my products i dont know of any other place that would have done that. I want to address the comment that MATT K. left. First off the only reason they would leave a flyer on your car would be if you park in the customer parking spaces. And lets say that was the case the flyer is a discount flyer for the store to show appreciation for customers. So I have to come to the conclusion based on your comment that you are not a customer. And since you get flyer on your car every day that lets me know that you continuously park in customer parking because you are selfish and you dont want to lose precious gym time to look for one before you go to L.A. fitness. Its because of people like you that people like myself, along with just about everyone that has reviewed has to drive around aimlessly looking for parking. And for the record they price match so there is no way that they are over price. Im guessing you a are one of those guys that if full of negative vibes and you made a yelp account because you have some type of personal issue. Went in looking for something specific. The guy at the counter was very helpful and didn't try to sell me the most expensive product. He was honest and asked a lot of good questions to make a recommendation. The inside is small but you don't need a lot of space if you are selling pills and supplements. Shocked and angry on the poor treatment I was given to simply return something the next day. I went in with my barber (he recommended) since he has a business next door. My barber said they probably have a sample of preworkout that I can try since I told him I'm very wary and skeptical of workout products and more importantly not looking to spend too much since I'm currently unemployed. After speaking to a very nice sales rep, I ended up buying from her. However, after giving it a night, I simply changed my mind and went into return it the very next morning. This is where the horrible experience I encountered with "Sean" began. From the very beginning when I walked in, Sean was sitting on the sales floor, in a beach chair with his attention on his phone. Not a great first impression. I told him my intentions to return my purchase and he was immediately trying to retain me as a customer and asking the normal questions sales reps ask to save a sale. Then as he's reluctantly walking to the register, he calls his manager or boss and asks the return process. Then I can hear his boss ask the same retention questions, and getting me to buy something else instead of returning. Lol. After he gets off the phone, he finally hands me the cash. Once given, he again starts asking me questions to sell me. I then got stern with him and said I'm not interested in listening since I was so irritated by this point. Then as I was walking out, he started saying that I was unbelievable and rediculous. Instead of walking into my car and not saying anything, I walked back and told him how rude he was for making me feel bad for returning something that I regretted purchasing. He said he doesn't care and that it's his family business and that's why he's so passionate and that they normally don't ever allow customers to return anything. I then walked back to my car instead of engaging in more arguing. He then followed me outside in a threatening matter and engaged in laughing at me and making comments at me with another customer that happened to be walking in from working out at la Fitness. Wow. Unbelievable. I will make sure and tell everyone when I go to the gym at La Fitness and anywhere else to never buy from these clowns! Stay away!! You've been warned! read more
